📆 Harvest Week, 28 May - 4 June 2024 28-29 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 30 May- 3 Jun - Flushed plant. 4 Jun - Harvest (see pictures). 📑 The final week. Harvest time. Although I have destroyed my netting getting her cut the way I want to hang, it was well worth it. Larger limbs take a little longer to dry and that is what I need, a slower dry. For this reason I’m only removing larger and yellowing leaves. I’m hoping on 14 days in a closet controlled environment at 55% RH and 70 degrees F. Then it will be trimmed and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions met, this plant can get as big as you want it to. But to get big buds you have to carefully balance your nutrients to get maximum production. Reflecting back over the weeks, this is what ultimately caused the buds to be smaller than anticipated. I do not believe she was adequately feed during flower. This is a much bigger plant than I am normally use to growing, and I did not get into the habit of checking the solution PPM in-between scheduled weekly feeding changes. So when she started flowering I suspect she became a more heavy feeder, nutrients should have been changed twice per week or every 5 days depending. Only a guess. Would I grow it again? This is not my first Wedding Cake grow - so absolutely! Smoq Report: The smoke has a very strong effect that comes on slow and stays for a while! A nice head and body buzz that brings out talk and laughter. Nice for recreational or medicinal use. Will not couch lock at all, quite the opposite in fact! 🍶 30 May changed nutrient solution to flush solution 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Flush Solution EC .0 at 70 degree F 🔆 Light power: one at 25%, and one at 50%, DLI 35 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. 11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

These plants are starting to show different traits more and more. Each day I'm in there defoliating and trying to keep this jungle tames as much as possible. Just been water only. The worms are proliferous and have been pouring out of the bottom of the pots. It's actually kind of wild. I'm not sure if this many worms is better or worse or if it even matters. Sounds like another great strain to grow, 27% T.H.C., up to 600 grams per square metre, 70% indica & around 7 weeks of flowering. Plan is to mainline her currently week 2 day 9 of veg, started her straight into rock wool & sprouted in a few days. Started her on nutrients after a few days at 0.75ml per litre & increased to 2ml per litre start of week 2 & planted into final home, 15 litre pro pot going great.

DAY 56 since flip: These girls could have done with some more space between them. Th C banana is so lost between her neighbouring plants , that she struggled to give her best. She is putting out a more defi ed fuel smell alongside the fruity smell. Buds are not particularly big at all but should hopefully give a couple of Oz . The Monster Zkittelz is a totally different lady. She is like a crazy aunt with limbs flying everywhere and refusing to stop flailing. I have her tied up like Gulliver just to keep her around the light. She smells so sweet and candy like now too with dusty tricks like biscuit crumbs. Another week I think and she will be perfect.

Seeing a lot of changes since I’ve started the LST. Most of the plants are doing good exept for one that seems to be having a hard time. I will also be adding an xl exhale co2 bag.

1/18 - 1/24: Getting fatter by the day. They got two feedings this week with cha ching, and I'll start flushing them when then are dry next.

03/1 - Applied LST last week - thus far no issues - Gave her a top dressing of warm castings - increased nutrient formula by .5 on all nutrients. She will be transferred out of the nursery tent within this coming week and moved into the 4x4 to run alone and prep for clone picking. 03/04 - Transplanted into a 5 gallon pot & transferred into the 3x3 to run alone for clone prep - topped 8 more additional sites - She is running under the 3x3 Sunraise QB3000.

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

Let’s go day 9 of flower!! This week went real well , all these lil babies just doin there thang , got a nice bit of stretch goin on an staying super healthy for week 2 of flower 🌺! I am more than happy with the Strawberry Gorilla from 420Fastbuds This is my first attempt at hydroponics, but it's going well. The plant grows incredibly quickly. I made her a new and stronger nutrient solution. The PH rose to 6.5 over the last night. I check once a day. Now the PH value is back to 5.7. If you have any tips, criticism or anything, please write to me!! On the 20th day I started with LST and used Plant Trainer. I'm still thinking about topping her.

The buds are starting to get ready. I cut all the nutes and gonna feed her only sink water from now on. She getting some crazy colors. Hope she'll finish fast. I have some time restrictions on my apartment haha. Good week and keep growing 💚
