Week 7 started nice and easy. Added a new pump to my catch basin for water extraction. Plants are still stretching and flowers are stacking. I’m going to have to rearrange the tent a little to give these girls some space. The smell is pure lemons I can’t wait! I also realized I have 5 fans in my tent to control temp and humidity…hahaha

Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.

Our Black Runtz branded Zamnesia has arrived at the moment of truth, it's going very well from the start and the god of Jella has punished me because I'm bragging too much: I accidentally knocked out the fan that cut a brunch. I'm an asshole, I was very high and I did this damage that I also reported in the photo to make amends and remind myself not to do this bullshit. Apart from this which is still a disgrace for me, the plant is an excellent beauty, it's doing very well, we only went from 16 buds to 14 buds like this damage that I caused. They know 14 succulent buds, let's hope. If I don't do any more damage. We did our best, Zamnesia has put superb genetics and at home B&B we are working to show you the plants in all their possible meanings. This plant like all the other photoperiodic ones has been worked with a topping x16 buds, simply repeating the topping technique without doing anything else than cleaning the leaves from time to time and now the branches that I believe do not give me good flowers at the bottom. After the damage x14 buds The 14 buds are not perfectly aligned there is something that escapes upwards but it is normal in the economy of a plant i tried to FIM before go in bloom. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative but we move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program which maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the base fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I get along very very well even more than Alga Grow that sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Backing off the feeds a little now that they are coming into the final weeks of flower. Did a good bit of defoliating this week to help get airflow to the lower areas. Happy with the bud growth they are really starting to fatten up now. Onto week 8! 😬✌️

Good start to the week. After adding super soil and a speinkle of bone meal on the girls they seem to be doing very well. The colour and structure are as full Iv ever seen. Because its going so great and I dont wanna Fc*kitup iv decided to completely stop any chemical nutrients and just provide water daily. 28 Sept P# 1&2 are in flower and pistils are starting to form buds. Both have been suppercropped and Iv also removed some lower smaller leaves. This was my 1st real major attempt at HST. It went well. Didn't break any branches. Nice low profile and even ‘canopy’ achieved. Lets see what this does for budsite development & growth. Thats all for now. Will keep and eye on them and update on any major changes or issues. May Green be the Grass 🍃 Sho/Ciao 30 Sept Last day of sept. figured id give a short update. p#2 got a somewhat drastic haircut/trimming. She got crazy bushy less than 24hrs after the supercrop I did 2 days ago. Girl perked right up. Also her smell is starting to get more noticeable. So far its a typical midlife ‘weed plant’ scent. I also did something that I could pay for severely. I transplanted p#3 that turns out to be an auto flower from the the dirt. I did this because 1. I thought the soil was hard and sandy and needed some working. Shes now in compost/supersoil mix. 2. I just wanted to watch this girl up-closely develop as shes my 1st! Think she starting to form shiny clear trichomes. Will update how she does in a couple more days.

Week 13 : Six Shooter So i've been looking into these plants' trichomes daily, sometimes twice daily, they're all really really cloudy, like full white, completely curled in. Some have a slight beige tint to them, so i'm guessing that's the first few ambers ! That means it's time for the chop ! these wrapped up their second week of flush with three x additive flush. To flush you water until run off then add 20% which is just about 4 pints for me. Now i'm at the end of the grow i can say that the full tent is a good idea, but it does get crowded and that will surely affect my yield as there are a fair few colas that are totally f-ed in the sense they are thin, skinny, a tiny bit of flower with just a few pistills... so those are useless and they're going into my bubble hash project, so let's see, maybe i can extract value out of the trim , the popcorn buds, and the rest of the plant ! Resin is increasing and looks like bud sites are ready to start putting on some bulk. Issue with low ph drift reaching 5.2 so I decreased 50ppm with distilled water without calmag to soften the water and counter the drift. After decreasing ppm, ph drift continues, so I flushed for 2 days with distilled water and added back nutrients at half strength to increase to 800 ppm over time.

Still battling humidity although I think I have finally came up with a solution that allows my co2 too flourish as well. I connected my outlet carbon fan to my humidity control and changed my settings to the green ban of my vpd chart. I’ll keep you guys in the loop on that.

This week was a lot of fun! I can see the circle that I want starting to form although I know it may not work out exactly how I want. I know these plants do their own thing and you can only do so much.

One pheno smells like straight up slurricane i grew from clones so im sure not a mixed up seed lol One pheno has not much scent and probably leans bubba kush. I have no idea where this sweet candy berry pheno is coming from...probably wedding cake. I hope to get some damn cheese from the 3rd one that i saved but didnt make the flower room cut. Size and trichomes for week 3 is satisfactory given i did a heavy defoliaton at flip, and these are only 10L/3 gallon grow bags sharing a 200w light. Tried to stop stretch with cytokinins and kelp but i may have to raise the lights?

The girls took off after some training and topping. I broke a stem training the green crack so I had to make a splint for her. I’m also noticing the leaves starting to like pinch at the bud sites. I read that this may be wind burn? Help.
