the girls gain 1cm a day :) they are still quite vigorous, quite green; I expect another week of stretch before they concentrate on the buds. maximum dose of alga bloom, green sensation and sugar royal. my whole tent is occupied by the canopy; would a little defoliation be necessary? i'll take any advice :) One small thing: look at the 2 last pics, it looks like a "twin head", I've never seen that before EDIT : finally defoliated them next morning (see last pic), they now breathe again :) EDIT 2 : a small research on web & i got my response : "twin head" = polyploïd cannabis

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. Grüßt euch Freunde! Heute ist der vorletzte Tag der Woche 6. Die Blüten entwickeln sich prächtig und Resin ist ordentlich vorhanden. Man kann schön sehen wie die Blätter langsam ‚faden‘ . Ziel ist: am Ende alle übrigen Nährstoffe verbraucht zu haben, sodass wir einen angenehmen smoke bekommen. Werde daher die nährstoffzufuhr einstellen und sie das verbrauchen lassen, was noch in Boden und Blättern gespeichert ist. Bin der Meinung, dass davon einfach noch genug gespeichert ist. Wer da andere Erfahrungen gemacht hat, kann das gerne mal kommentieren! Bis dahin euch allen eine gute Woche !💚

Hi there my beloved stoners who take all the pain about reading these text walls, i'm taking this week as nutrient schema week because, as i changed to a new substrate i have to deal with new shit as i'm trying to bond over with these new medium. Organic Life Light mix is a local product that can be found mostly in Chile and some parts of South America as well. There is no much review about it but most insights nevertheless if the brand can be considered on the u get what you pay acording to its price , is more than that as it's a bit more complex to grow on a peat moss & coco coir mix and noticed it as im having some nutrient issues (detailed below ) as well watering is different , dear readers i have experienced it as well ! . I can make accountable the substrate on these ones 4 days evolved in a good and a bad way at the same time , as it's seems to be really light & airy gives the advantage of seeing some more faster growth , but at the same time has quite low nutritional value as older leaves already becoming yellow, yet discarding a nutrient block due excess because no edges are burnt , also considering the shit i used previous week is pretty organic and i stay on the lower doses. This gave me a bit more of dependency and record on the food i give to my babies, the reason that spams this post itself, if this CalMag helped to correct the issues depicted on photos as exampled. Hope this doesn't evolve to the worst hahahahahaha. (If anything shitty happens or something cryptic goes beyond my understanding i will post it , yet the update on 28/08 shows everything went better than expected! 😇). I discard tap water quality as secondary cause on the issue (water from a faucet ) as if that shit were causing glitches, it could have happened on the start of my previous grow too! And the substrate was different too, on the bright side now i have to think that its easier to correct carencies more than excess as well. On the space aspect also sorted the light bulbs to be closer to the plants now that are a bit more matured rather than seedlings, it's a 4000k & 6500k dominant mix according to what is better to vegging itself and changed it to 3 different modules to play with height if have some stretching differences between the killer kush f1 siblings. I applied a defoliation now on the second week to get that the light gets to every bud site,let's see how this wonderful little bush performs.

This week I decided to top the plant. It's the first time I've topped a plant and applied LST. It hurt to just cut the plant down but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. It tolerated it well. I have tried to make cuttings from the topped part. We'll see if they make it. The amount of watering remains unchanged for now as the soil stores enough water. I will water every 3 days from now on. This week I used the nettle manure in a mix with rainwater in a ratio of 1:20. Unfortunately, the weather has got a bit worse this week. The daytime temperature fluctuated between 18 and 21 degrees.

Day 70 - 2cm taller this week. Flowering stretch all but finished. Flowers are forming fast. The pungent smell is not too strong at this moment.

Week 1 of veg and nothing to report. Plant only on water for another few weeks. Training will start next week and maybe top if needed. I am so looking forward to this plant.

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

She is coming along nicely. She had good growth this week. The root has made its way into the reservoir now. So she will begin to start drinking more water/nutes real soon. I did turn off my flower light setting and now it is only running the veg lighting. So you can tell in the pics that’s it’s very blue compared to last week and the purple/pink colour. I noticed when I made that change the leaves doubled in size in just a day. I probably should have made that change a while ago.
