Flowering day 74 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

17 Jan - 23 Jan 19 Jan Kush del Arriero: Looking good in color and size, planning to flush next week, hope those possible nanners don't develop enough, not removing due to harvest time being so close and this one being the one that will probably give me the best yield. Banana Cake: Small buds, decent trichomes. I hope that KDA won't cause much trouble to the other two plants, I hope I'm wrong about the nanners... Keeping my plans, finish with nutrients this Sunday and flushing for 7-14 days after that. I'll add a few more pics later today. Sat 22 Yesterday a friend with more experience in these things took a look at my plants, he seemed impressed by what I've accomplished on my first grow so far. He also confirmed that the weird things on the KDA buds aren't nanners... phew ! He also confirmed my plans for flushing tomorrow are good.

This week I switched over to 12/12 light cycle to begin flower stage. Cycled through a sequence of blue, red, and purple light to develop taller (red) and fuller (blue) foliage, using both (purple) at times as long as I could keep the temp under 79F. Man! once I switched over, they began taking off! Some of the more dominate branches began taking over and blocking the smaller ones in record time. I had to add a couple filler lamps (1 LED & 1 CFL, both white) to even things out a bit. NOTE: reverting back to actual Plant-to-Lamp distance (vs Screen/Net-to-Lamp).

Hello everyone. The week went well, our girl is growing, enjoying a diet of 2000 ppm. On December 17.12.2023, we'll switch the light to 12/12, it's time to start flowering. We took clones from our girl on December 10, 2023. The clones look healthy, but I haven't seen any roots yet, so I'm not sure whether to switch our girl to flowering or wait a bit longer.
