Day 99: Today marks the start of the last week for this journal! I keep watering them with RO water (0ppm) every 3 days. The runoff is gradually diminishing as the plants are utilizing the remaining nutrients present in the growing medium. The experience has been amazing so far, and I've definitely learned a lot. I'll probably be chopping these plants in one week... Damn guys, so excited to taste these beautiful buds! Tried to bring something different this time uploading a video instead of photos. But pictures are coming soon as well to best ilustrate whats going on. Cheers! Day 101: Took some new pictures today. Girls are looking good and smelling amazing. Cant wait to taste them. Day 103: We're getting real close to the finish line. Slapped a mini microscope onto my phone and took some pics of the trichomes. The bottom buds are mostly cloudy, and the top ones have a bit of amber action. Thinking maybe I'll give it another week before I pull the trigger on harvesting.

Es la última semana antes de nuestra cosecha, el tiempo se nos echó encima y las Flores ya están echas, se preparó un lavado de raíces y tijeretazo,para sucesivamente colgarlas.( PRIMERA VEZ que se me echa el tiempo encima con la floración, jurao) Me habría gustado darles algo de estrés hídrico, pero lo veremos con las lemon kush y las northern light xL. -power plant xL es una cepa con predominancia sativa, con una corta floración,es un ejemplar fácil de cultivar, fuerte, y vigoroso. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.

Today is day 10 of flower, and this girl is stretchin as she should... this grow has been flawless from the second I dropped the seed in the medium.. Great vigor all she wants to do is grow .. i love Maxibloom...Zamnesia Seeds is 2 for 2 i think.. Drunken Bitch Slap is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I switched light today to 12/12. So time to start the stretch, and flowering stages. She did get a lot of training today. From root pruning to lollipopped with a touch of defoliation, and lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Looks like they are okay and growing well. Cant wait to see them with big flowers in a few weeks.. Doesnt really looks like they are flowering yet.

She's done! She took longer to ripen than her tent mates but she was an easy grow and her buds are dense, dank and stank! Flushed her for the last couple weeks then threw her in the dark for a couple days. I don't know if it made a difference, but I didn't want to waste the power. 14.3 wet ounces once she was chopped down. Stay tuned for the smoke report!

Last week, 2 irrigations, gave her plain water. Beautiful colours, it was a pleasure to grow such a pretty plant, production is going to be like 10 grams i expect, Cloudy days and bad weather while growing and flowering, but quality seems pretty good, she is so frosty and smells like fruits. 1 week of drying, and curing at the moment. Put the weed in jars with Boveda 62. Im making a harvest post with the smoke effects flavour and all the stuff, so you can get more details about the high, flavour and quality. Our King Louis Automatic are truly those plants with a great desire to grow, the one in main lining is perfect. Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques to preserve its speed. In this diary we find the plant that is growing normally, nice and straight just with a little cleaning and LST at the bottom only on the branches and not on the main stem. The plant had a moment of over at the end of the vegetative phase when it was time to move into flowering it had a manifestation of rusty spots on the sunbathing leaves but now at the beginning of flowering everything seems fixed. In my opinion it is a lack of K but yes The comparison is the salt of the experience so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently go and see it to compare them. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhiza Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). 7/1: This plant has been extremely fun to watch do its thing over the last few weeks. Those little mistakes I made or neglected in my first grow have significantly helped me get off on the right foot this time around. Not to mention, I feel that the plant/genetics is fairly low maintenance. As I mentioned at the end of last week's entry, I started a little LST on the lower most node. Today, I have added landscaping staples to the second lowest node to allow it to stretch out and get more light from under the quickly growing top canopy. In addition to starting LST on the second lowest node, I did bring the light down to 16 inches above canopy at 60% power. This gives me a PPFD reading of roughly 750, which could be inaccurate due to using the phone app, but it still gives me a good idea of how much I should bump light power up each time. 7/3: Today was a big day for the Mrs. Gorilla Cookie. I decided it was time to add in a bit more soil as well as some amendments. I added 3tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 and 1tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4. I then reapplied the landscaping staples to continue LST. The plants seem to be responding well to the light increase that I applied on 7/1. At the time, I was worried it would be too much, but the plant is really soaking it up and praying toward the light. I may increase the light a bit more at the end of the week. In addition, I plan to try out a self watering base toward the end of the week. I will going out of town soon for the remainder of July and need to test the base before I leave. I do have buddies that will help, but I would like things to be as easy as possible for them. I also hear great things on these self watering bases and if it works out will, I will definitely incorporate them into future grows. 7/6: The end of week 4 has come and this plant is really starting to kick into high gear. I do think adding in the bloom amendments really helped. Great, speedy growth, and looking green and healthy. Pistils have started to form and she's definitely starting to get a little stank. The lights are still at 60% but due to the constant growth the canopy raised causing the light to be 12 inches close and PPFD up to 950. I did notice a tiny bit of tacoing so I lifted the light a couple inches. I am now trying to keep them at a constant 14 inches above the canopy with a PPFD of around 850. I will likely hold off on adjusting the brightness for another few days, as I am liking the results I'm seeing. I started the plant on her self-watering base yesterday when I would have usually given it a feeding. Its only been a day, so its too soon to tell just how well its working, but the soil seems to be at a perfect moisture at all times. I did feed a little from the top today to help some of the nutrients that may still be at the top work its way into the pot. Overall, solid week. This grow is already shaping up to exceed my expectations and I feel pretty good about making it through the Veg stage in one piece. On to the flowering stage!
