Woche 6 lasse ich die Pflanzen etwas hoch wachsen und hoffe, dass sie am Ende der Woche etwas an Höhe gewonnen haben. Eventuell entlaube ich am Anfang von Woche 7 nochmal etwas, damit die Blütephase ohne viel Laub starten kann. Bisher gieße ich aber einfach 1L pro Pflanze alle 2 Tage und lasse sie weitestgehend in Ruhe.

Why you Should buffer your Coco. Lets get to reading! (Its Worth it for those that dont know about it) There are cation exchange sites in coco that will interfere with nutrition until they are buffered. The cation exchange sites in coco naturally come loaded with sodium (Na) and potassium (K) cations. However, the Na and the K are only weakly held to the exchange sites. In the presence of calcium (Ca) or magnesium (Mg), the sites will release their Na or K cations and lock onto the Ca or Mg. These processes are known as “cation exchanges”. Buffering coco is accomplished by soaking it in Ca and Mg. This allows the cation exchanges to take place prior to adding plants. Simply soak your coco in a solution of Cal/Mag water and the exchange sites will release their K and Na cations and lock onto the Ca and Mg. When the cation exchange sites bond with Ca and Mg rather than Na and K, it is “buffered”. The bonds that hold the Ca and Mg to the sites are very strong and cation exchange will largely stop. This means that all of the nutrients that you add to the water will be available to the plant at the ratios that you provide them. 2. Alot of growers Grow in Unbuffered coco coir and its a big mistake guys, I myself was a "victim"😬of unbuffered coco and it does cause alot of problems... now i am going to try and fix them! -----GROWING IN UNBUFFERED COCO--- Many growers are unaware of the need to buffer the coco and they try to grow plants in unbuffered coco. In unbuffered coco, the cation exchange sites will strip the nutrient solution of the Ca and Mg and replace those cations with Na and K. This creates a sub-optimal Nutrient Element Ratio (NER) and renders Ca and Mg unavailable to the plant. Failing to buffer the coco is why so many growers suffer calcium deficiencies in coco grows. Manufacturers of prepared coco products try to exploit these problems and convince growers that only their proprietary products are suitable for growing. However, it is actually very simple to properly buffer your coco yourself. This tutorial walks you through the process and provides all the information you need to turn even the cheapest brick of dehydrated coco into a superior growing medium. 3 weeks curing and i think its done now very strong and sweet smell. Really enjoy my first autoFlowering harvest with this strain.

Week 6 went well. The buds are putting out a second wave of pistils and are starting to fatten up. Jilly is starting to smell more and put out more trichs on sugar leaves. She smells very sweet and fruity so far.

Letzte Woche vor Ernte. Nur noch Wasser gegeben seit 2 Wochen. Jetzt noch 1 Tag komplette Dunkelheit und dann war es das.

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

The Apple Betty babies are doing great 😊 I’m very pleased with the results so far, I just wished I would have known they would have such a large stretch, they D almost doubled in size in 14 days. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so, much more than my other strain that I have going as well. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. A quick snip here and there will really help the end result. At day 13 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, she flourished just as the girls in my big tent did as well. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing and large tops. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I will be doing a defoliation next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

11/20: Harvested all 3 Gorilla Cookies. It took them a week to dry. Dry weights: plant A - 121g plant B - 80g plant C - 100g Final thoughts: It was easy weed to grow, and produced a lot of dense/heavy/delicious flowers. Would def grow it again.👌 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Aroma: 7/10 Bag-appeal: 10/10 Bud density: 10/10

Plants are looking healthy, OS fel over and started growing sideways. Just keeping it straight with soft tie. Not much to report🌱 Tent is running in the night and in off in the hottest time of the day.

After not growing for almost a decade, it’s absolutely nostalgic and somewhat of an emotional moment to finally finish a grow again. Hello Guys, Hope you are doing good. It's now over, The flush was done and it was time for harvest. It took me around 2 to 3 hours to cut and do the wet trimming. I removed all the soil to check the roots and was surprise by the size some were very big like huge pipeline of nutrients. I have tested a bit but it's under curring and I can taste her best only in few weeks. Hope you enjoyed my grow. Take care all and remember to grow your own. Sawyer
