Week 12 and the plant is still going strong. It’s fading fast and plumping up. Trichroms are about 80% cloudy and 20% clear. Almost no amber. At this point I’m only giving the plant PH water. Plant still looks like it has some weight to still put on.

Nearing the end. Defoliated and pulled apart the mass of buds that had all grown into a single main cola. I didn't notice but there were multiple buds all cramed together, blocking out light to the inside. After pulling them apart and carefully tying them down I have been able to increase the airflow, trichome, and overall size while also decreasing the excess nitrogen that had built up in those cramped bud sites. Did all this about 5 days ago and ahe is getting even better. Just a few days left. Also, I cut off a little piece yesterday just cause I'm so desperate. Lol. Next update will be harvest!

D71/FD43 - Sooo...its all gone a bit to dick this week! So, as noted before, Oscillating RAM fans keep blowing on me. Just stop dead and haven't got a chance to get down the 90miles to get them replaced again. Well, noticed a few leaves that looked like they may be a bit light coloured...only 1 or 2, at the top buds which is strange and not really an N deficiency...so I looked more closely....4 buds with the dreaded fur on them!!! Fucking Bud Rot!!! Ones closest to the door that would get the biggest temp differential (So the weirdest humidity) and no air really getting round them!!! Talk about a SICKNER! This grow just seems to be blighted (literally) with something new every 3 weeks!!! So, had to chop a few tops and now going to be on the defensive for the next few weeks. We're not yet ripe and *hoping* as these had the least air movement round them, the spores didn't get about the place!!! Worst as well is the height of all the plants...cant get the UVB bulb in there for fear of burning them but that would potentially sterilise the fungus (I'd usually be using a 10K finisher this week but with the change to LED...) so now to work out what to do. Also didn't help that I didn't put the lid on my tank right last night doing a check and think i pumped about 10L of water about the place!!! Yip, today was a disaster!!! So, apart from that, I've dropped the Silicon and changed to TNC bactorr for my root inoculant (Out of great white). Apart from that, happy growing all!!! 💪

Starting the week defoliating the babies, hopefully, they'll get more light penetration and recover in the pre-flowering phase, I think two more weeks until flowering stage.

Week 5 veg - clones and Week 3 - Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seed Co.) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from seed. G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas topped with 2 clones each taken from cuttings to propagate placed in 2x2 clone/seedling tent with low LED lighting. Temps in low 80F w/60% ROH. Clone cuttings covered with sandwich bags used as humidity domes. After taking cuttings transferred G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas to 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Black Cherry Gas clone, Blueberry Cupcake, and French Macaron from seed remain in 2x4x5 AC Infinity under Spider Farmer SF-2000 with dimmer set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Continued twice weekly IPM foliar treatment with Organishield as well as watering soil program (SP).

January 27th: Not much to say. They're about done and smelling delicious. The dry room is set up and ready. I'm excited to harvest it, after all the nonsense this cycle went through.

As usual this Forgotten Cookies🔥🍪 from Mephisto genetics is a beast of a plant! Reaching over 4 foot y’all and 3 foot wide this plant will hands down produce some solid weight! 🔥🔥🔥 Smells of fresh brewed coffee and baked buttery dough are spot on the best way to describe the smells pouring from this autoflower! ☕️🥐 Closing in on it’s life cycle i will closely start watching trichomes in the next week or two and then begin a good week long flush with 48 hours of darkness! I will start a timer and give the plant some cold night to bring out the plants true colors 😈

I started the week by flushing the plants. It was time. The oldest two plants have two weeks max. The run off started at 1900ppm and went down to 400ppm. By that time I had pumped about 60 litres through the four of them. The tap water is already 300ppm, so this is a good level I think. The leaves are responding. I can see the nutrients being drawn out of them. They are withdrawing. I am also looking at trichomes daily now. The mature plants are 1/3 clear, 2/3 cloudy, with a few amber. The younger plants are 2/3 clear, 1/3 cloudy, with no amber. I couldn’t wait any longer. I cropped and chopped 3 buds from under the canopy and dried them slowly on a metal plate over boiling water. It took 1/2 hour, but it produced a nicely dried pile of smelly weed. If I lost any potency in the process we didn’t notice. We got really really stoned. If this sample is any indication, I think it will easily be my best grow yet in terms of potency. Now I’m curious about the weight.

This Gelato autoflower is developing nicely! She's ready for a defoliation. The defoliation will be done on next weeks watering day. 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutes lasts her 5 days, becoming 90% dry, and ready for the next 2.5 gallon dosage!

For my first grow I didn’t do too bad

Growing LSD25 in a very small space of 5" x 5" x 10". Plant is to grow it discreetly and get single cola weighing 5-7grams at least.

Vegetative state week 4. Going strong, making roots chase the water and going to do a little high stress training instead of filming this time I’m going to just grab the main stock bend pinch ,laid over to get those side branches thrusting.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Plants have developed the first pair of leaves and second one is already developing. I am waiting for true leaves or at least 10cm height, so I can start with nutrients. One of my plants is recovering from overwatering. She's about 2 days behind others. 3.10.2023 - 9.10.2023
