This week another huge growth. Still on EC 1.5. I try EC 1.7 and little bit of nutrient burn show up, so I low it to 1.5. By far biggest plant I grew. Plant is very vigorous.

Flipped the lights to 12/12, plants have initiated their stretch. I switched the compost tea brew to Terp Tea Bloom.

Sweet Bourbon Kush is growing great in her little potter. She is starting to get into her bulking stage. Everything has been going good for her. I am really curious to see the final result. I have been increasing her feed as she is taking it great. She got some selective defoliation and some additional pruning where needed. Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

Starting 5th week of flower today Light feeding

NOT REALLY WELL GROWN BY ME. UNFORTUNATELY. I'LL JUST DO AUTOS INDOORS FROM NOW ON IF I CAN. OR ELSE JUST WASTING BEANS. I GET BETTER RESULTS GROWING AUTOS INDOORS. PERHAPS JUST SOIL NOT GOOD OR WATER INCONSISTANT B/C VARIANT DAY TIME TEMP THROUGH OUT THE MONTH. OR I JUST NEED TO LEARN BETTER TO GROW AUTOS OUTDOORS. SHOULDN'T BLAME EVERY OTHER VARIABLE. HONESTLY. WILL TRY BETTER NEXT TIME.

First week went perfect plants sprouted right on time and reacted really well to transplant

Easy going week. nothing much to report. The EC pen I got is acting weird already. sometimes I'll put it in the feeding liquid and it will display 400ppm something. Then if I move it about or drip it in and out it will jump up to 700ppm something. I doing it over and over till I get a base line and go from that. this weeks EC was aorund 680ppm but the video does not show the other dips I did. PH still kicking aorund 5.9. I find it more annoying to adjust just the waters PH for these plants on the balcony where everything else is "as is" Will try this again indoors in a peat and perlite medium void of any other additives when It can have more of my undivided attention. maybe on the other seeds I got from FB via a friend in the mail. Side note uploading videos into the diaries is great and all, but takes to long to resize and process, can't hit save till its all done... no idea what its doing in the backend. stupid rule on contest must have videos every week,

Put Light on 75% …some leafs off…

This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. after not being happy on how it was on week 13, i decided to push it this far. I'm more satisfied than i was, but I remain disappointed in apera instruments for screwing me over on IP67 warranty promise. They said after this replacement they wont do it again. total bs.

Girls starting to grow really tall now, they have taken to the flowering stage really nicely! Started the Flores feed on Day 38. Starting high at 3.2 and working my way down after a couple of weeks. Smells are lovely coming from the tent! Leaves are looking very dark and healthy.

She's doing her thing this week. I'm keeping her watered approx 50ml/day.
