First week for our strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420 We are using the whole feeding schedule from Xpert Nutrients!! Lets see the results from this amazing nutrients!!! We are using 7 liter pots and doing some defoliation and lollipop the next weeks

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Beginning of week.. So instead of feed, water, feed.. I think I'm gonna feed, feed, water this week.. PPM going in is 900 PPM and runoff is still coming out around 500 PPM.. Still seems weird to me.. But whatever lol. She is looking a little deficient in some areas (more than 1)... Not horrible.. But it's there.. Some spotting.. Little yellowing here and there.. But that is expected at the end of flower, of course.. Buds look nice tho.. Fucking gorgeous plant! Trichomes are for sure gettin cloudy.. Very few amber in there.. So yeah, this should be the last week of feeding and then beginning the 2 week flush! Mid week.. Not too worried about the coloring and spotting.. Just thought I'd post it along with this lady.. She is looking pretty good tho.. Smells amazing.. Got a few pretty fat colas... Haven't really checked to see how dense.. Don't wanna just squeeze them lol.. But I'm almost positive that the nitrogen toxicity she hit may have contributed to keeping her a bit airy.. Well.. One more update and then the 2 week flush will begin!!! End of week.. Tried to get more trichome shots but trichomes kept smearing all over the lens so I gave up lol.. ALOT of cloudy.. A small amount of amber.. Starting the flush tomorrow with some pics for the next week! This is gonna be some epic bud for sure! Can't wait!!! Gonna use some FloraKleen tomorrow and just pH'd water until harvest! May use FloraKleen a couple times this week depending on how the runoff reads.. But according to my screw up during transition one time with FloraKleen should be more than enough lol.. But we shall see... On to the next week!!!...

Flowers are starting to pack on weight, colors are starting to show and this plant is super sticky. Can't wait to see how she finishes

So this was my first grow, way back in 2013. Literally a seed I placed in the ground, hidden behind my water tank and the fucker went out of control. Not too sure if it was taken at 24 weeks, all I know is this plant lived a full life. I had to tie her down about half way into the grow as she was just getting too damn big. Fertiliser? Well nothing but seasol and power feed was used. Virtually no love at all was given to this plant, everything was kept simple. More smoke than I could handle from this crop anyhow, so many ounce bags of weed were given away to many happy mates. Still took a couple of years to vape my way through what I kept. I vacuumed sealed and place in my dedicated dope fridge to ensure longevity. Seriously a top notch smoke, the taste was amazing, the stoned even better. I can only dream that my current outdoor grow will get to this size, but being in a pot it will be restricted for sure but still bountiful. How bountiful is yet to be seen. Check it out if u have the time. Seeing the size of this and my current plant, has made me decide that I will no longer bother with autoseeds. The reward just isn't there I will post harvest videos as well...marijuana porn is what I like to call them 🤣

Day 69 of flowering and still looking for the elusive Amber trichromes, they are 90% cloudy no amber 10% clear I will patiently wait I want to experience the more indica feel with these last few choice buds. Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look. Maybe I will have to get a computer to show these fantastic shots I will uploaded ASAP YOU HAVE got to see them gorgeous girls see ya soon peace and love my brothers.

I've given triacontanol a whirl I don't have a control to compare to and I've gone from coco to dwc but there is a shitload of tops emerging , its paste I've used at a rate of 1g to 20l of feed I've only hit her with it twice once in veg and just in wk 1 of flower it does make the feed frothy but not to a problematic point from what little info I've found less is more with it I've backed right off with part a and upped part b of the hydrocrop and next feed is pk am aiming for 1gpw if I manage that il be 😊

So this week i Can only enjoy how much she's growing. I had to do some more defoliation on day 23. I surely should defoliate way more but wanted to try like this. On day 25 , I just enjoy the view of that Wonderful plant😊

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Dropped these babies in water on Friday around 10AM. By Sunday, 4 out of 5 seeds had little taproots, so all 5 went into solo cups half filled with pre-washed Canna Coco. I buffered that coco with gypsum + dolomite lime prior to using it and mixed 2 tsp of Gaia Green AP to the gallon of it that I used on these seedlings.

Been flushing in anticipation of cutting down. Day 100 (yes I'm late) chopped the two main colas. They are very dense and heavy!!!!! Just a few more days for the rest of the plant.
