W9.D1(60) πŸŒΈβ°πŸŒŸπŸ‘€πŸ”§ I think the time has come to transition to flowering. 🌸 As I embrace this new phase, I have never done this by switching the lights ⏰ before, and I know that the standard is to switch to 12/12. However, I'd like to experiment with reducing the lighting by 30 minutes each day this week, aiming to reach 14/10. 🌟 This gradual approach will let us πŸ‘€ observe how our champion plant adapts to the changes with precision and care πŸ”§. 🌿πŸ”ͺπŸ“‰βœ‚οΈπŸ€² Likewise, I did not immediately remove the huge mass that has grown. 🌿 Instead, I'm choosing to wield Occam's Razor in a gradual manner, wielding the πŸ”ͺ blade carefully, to ensure the vitality reduction of the plant is gradual πŸ“‰ and gentle, not abrupt and harsh βœ‚οΈ. This method respects the living essence of the plant and aims for a cautious, nurturing approach 🀲, enhancing our chance to achieve the lush, vibrant bloom we're striving for. W9.D2(61) πŸ•ΆοΈπŸŒžπŸ“‰βœ‚οΈπŸŒ± Nothing special is happening. πŸ•ΆοΈ As the days continue, I am reducing the light 🌞 hours and gradually trimming the excess βœ‚οΈ, maintaining a steady focus on nurturing our 🌱 champion. πŸ€”πŸ’‘πŸŒΈπŸš«πŸŒΏ I'm not sure how much the stress from pruning parts of our girl might delay her transition to flowering. πŸ€” It's a delicate balance of stress πŸ’‘ and growth, where each cut 🚫 might impact her readiness to 🌸 bloom. πŸ βœ‚οΈπŸ€πŸ’ͺπŸ”— But in my cramped conditions, failing to trim the excess doesn't allow the strength to flow where it's needed. 🏠 Navigating through the tight spaces, each snip βœ‚οΈ boosts the vitality πŸ’ͺ of the remaining parts, ensuring the most vigorous growth links πŸ”— to the flourishing future we aim for. W9.D3(62) πŸ”„πŸ’§βž•πŸ”™ I've slightly tweaked the formula - removed B52 from H2O2 and added Bud Factor X. πŸ”„ In this ongoing experiment, B52's absence πŸ’§ is temporary as I explore the effects of introducing βž• Bud Factor X into our regimen. W9.D4(63) πŸŒ±πŸŒΏπŸŒŸπŸ”πŸ“¦ Bella is expanding, growing very robustly indeed. 🌱 With her vigorous 🌿 growth, she has already managed to find a gap on one side and attempted to grow out of the grow box. 🌟 Her ambition to explore beyond the πŸ” confines of her πŸ“¦ environment is both astounding and challenging. πŸ€”πŸ’‘πŸŒ±πŸ‘πŸŒŸ I'm not sure how I'll manage it, but the example set by @Chamomile with his compact yet extremely effective growing method is truly inspiring. πŸ€” While pondering this, the innovative πŸ’‘ approach taken by @Chamomile shines a light on potential solutions, giving me the confidence that even in tight spaces, 🌱 greatness can be achieved, and indeed, this example deserves a round of πŸ‘ applause for its efficiency and 🌟 brilliance. W9.D5(64) πŸ•’πŸŒžπŸŒ±πŸ‘€πŸŒΈ The light day has already been shortened by 2.5 hours, and, it seems to me, we can witness this transition into flowering firsthand. πŸ•’ Having adjusted the 🌞 light schedule, the plant is now undergoing a significant shift, and we 🌱 observe this change as it unfolds, moving towards the flowering stage 🌸 right before our πŸ‘€ eyes. W9.D6(65) πŸŒ±πŸ“¦πŸ”„πŸŒΏπŸ’š The grow progresses leisurely, filling the box with an ever-greater abundance of life. 🌱 As time πŸ”„ unfolds, our grow box πŸ“¦ becomes increasingly vibrant with 🌿 lush greenery, brimming with the πŸ’š essence of vitality.

Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

Hello and welcome to my newest grow! Going to be doing a small pheno hunt for a keeper cut of purple marmalade by Solfire. Speaking of Solfire, want to shout these guys out. Just purchased from these guys the first time and the seeds I received look perfect. They also sent me 3 free seeds which I’m looking forward to growing next. Purple Marmalade is something special too me as I actually smoked this strain in Rochester New York around 2021, I would always pick up 3 new strains a week when I stayed here. For me and my girlfriend at the time it was one of our favorites we have ever had. Super spacey and melted away all stress. Going to be doing a proper hunt where I will keep the rooted seeds as parents and will be taking clones of these for the actual hunt. The clones will be planted in my newest 30 gallon no till bed where they will be flipped semi early to allow all 3 plants to fill the 2x3. The 30 gallon pot is the same soil I have been no tilling in a 15 gallon for the last year and a half. It had gotten compacted in the 15 so I dumped it out, reammended with 3.0, craft blend, and gnarly barley. Also added a gallon of perlite to help prevent compaction again. Poured it into the 30 and topped it off with about 8 gallons of fresh Elite Soil. My thought process is the plants will start off in the new top soil as the bottom cooks, so by the time the roots hit the older soil it is ready to go. I also took a soil sample of the old soil and sent it to my local university to see if the amendments I added will be enough or if I should top dress more early on. Today August 23rd I sprinkle a ton of white clover seeds on top of this pot so by the time I transplant the clones in two weeks I will have a cover crop I also planted the seeds today on August 23rd. I filled my small nursery pots with some new Elite Living soil. I soaked the soil heavily to ensure it was wet and tamped. Poked a small one inch hole into each pot. Sprinkled recharge into each hole, dropped the seeds in and covered lightly. I then transferred these to my small parent tent where they will hopefully pop and veg until I am able to take my clones for the main tent. Germination success is set to 0/3 until they start too pop. Really looking forward to this grow with you guys! God bless! Update Day 4, August 28th: Cover crop growing in well and first seed popped. Good looks for solfire, first time using them. My seeds planted directly in soil almost always consistently pop on day 5. Day early and healthy looking, no helmet head, and can already see true leaves coming in. Update Day 5, August 30th Number 2 sprouted Update Day 6, August 31st Transplanted both sprouted clones to large container

Expect beautiful purple and magenta hues that come along with a sweet almost pastry-like taste and, thanks to the 24% THC, a very pleasant and potent effect that surprisingly starts as a motivating high and in no time relaxes you completely, taking a bit of the energetic edge off. Bud description Purple Punch Auto develops rounded compact buds with fat calyxes and bright orange or sometimes bright yellow hairs, with copious amounts of trichomes that give the buds that beautiful frosty look that all growers seek for. The light-green buds can exhibit subtle purple or lime-green tones that give them a charming and attractive look and complement them magnificently, while the mouth-watering mix of earthy cherries and blueberry muffins with a spicy touch will win you over even before you can see the buds. Smoke report Due to the high THC levels, you’ll experience a powerful effect that will completely relax your whole body and gradually start feeling like all your muscles are melting before you can count to three. Despite the strong Indica effect, you won’t be couch-locked thanks to the slight Sativa genes that incorporate a pleasant creative head-buzz and leaves you mellow and clear-headed in a peaceful state of mind. The perfect effect to go through a busy day stress-free, alleviating sore muscles after a long workout routine or just chill and have fun on a night out with friends. Plant appearance Due to the Indica dominancy, this strain remains relatively compact despite its height and grows wide and thick fan leaves typical of Indica-dominant varieties. You can expect a thick tall main cola and a few shorter side branches with spaced-out internodes where the incredibly frostbitten flowers develop and end up looking like buds on steroids by the end of the flowering stage. Grow tips This strain offers unique flavors and charming colors so we recommend flushing thoroughly to allow it to show its full potential and end up with the beautiful reddish-purple and/or lime-green hues on the buds and surrounding foliage. Due to the Indica genes, the buds grow denser than usual so it’s essential you tie the branches slightly so there is enough airflow in between the buds to prevent mold and bugs. This variety doesn’t require a lot of maintenance or anything extra but remember to feed her properly and with good-quality nutrients, this way you guarantee the buds fatten up properly and that your plant doesn’t suffer any kind of nutrient deficiencies. Flavor Thanks to the high-quality genetics, this strain offers a distinguishable taste of fresh blueberries and earthy cherries with spicy undertones and a pinch of sugary tart. The sweet smoke overpowers your throat with a sweet blueberry muffin-like taste as you inhale and, as you exhale, leaves a delicious coat of sweetness in your mouth that leaves you feeling like you’ve just eaten a dessert. ______________________________________________________________________ SETUP: 80x80x180 cm Zelsius 240W Full Spectrum LED IR UV dimmable DW240H-A6-HS Heatsink color red LED Chips: 512pcs SAMSUNG LM301H + 24pcs Osram 660nm + 8pcs Osram IR 730nm + 8pcs UV 385nm Color mix: 2700K + 4000K 2,8umol/J Driver HLG-240H-C2100B Coverage: veg 5x3ft / flower 4x2ft Product size: 628x205x68mm Β° 2x 5W Fans Β° custom 320/270 cmΒ³/h exhaust fan & Carbon Active Granulate 240cmΒ³/h Β° Mills Nutrients, Green Buzz Nutrients Shouts go out to my sponsors @GreenBuzzNutrients, thanks so much for your support! ❀️ If anyone would like to try their amazing organic products, use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) ✨ https://greenbuzznutrients.com/ Β° tap water EC 0,26uS upgraded to EC 0,5 with PlantMagic MagneCal - pH 8, nutrient solution downgraded to pH 6,5 with Advanced Hydroponics Minus Bloom Β° from week 4 in the same container Aptus Enzym+ once a week Β° Biobizz Lightmix πŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘ŠπŸ’œ 🌧️ πŸ‘Š

ppm at 1100 Second flush 3 days after first because ppm's were still rising after each day. Brought ppm down to 850 for second round of defoliation at day 49. I wanted to do it at day 42 but I didn't want to stress her more after me being away for 12 days.

We are DEEP onto flower now. Buds are still developing nice and at a steady pace. I was a little worried I'd get herms since my last ILGM grow was canceled because 4 plants hermed, but so far its looking great! This puts us right around Day 30 of flower and it can't look much healthier. One of the bottom leaves looks to be displaying a small P deficiency, so we will continue feeding at 2 tbsps here of the Flower Girl. However we'll take a break on the kelp meal. She definitely needs to be watered a tad more frequently, but we are still doing at most one watering a day. Even still, she's doing well and I honestly can't complain. Cheers for the final 3-5 weeks as we watch her put on more weight to these buds. Cheers til next time -DJ sunstone

Entered diary of the month for the first time here on GD. It’s been a good run thanks to Ethos Genetics and Front Row AG Nutrients. Grow diaries has been kinds shitty lately. I’ve tried my best to upload as many good photos as possible. I know I grow a little differently than most here on grow diaries. Push the plants as hard as you can, lots of heat/humidity/co2 and high EC. My motto, if you’re gonna grow, harvest as much as you can with the space you have. Overall this was one of my best runs in a while. Deep orange and cream/cake smells and vigorous growth made this a great strain.

This was my first photoperiod grow. It was a great experience. I kept the veg cycle short to keep it more manageable and so it wouldn't be as terrible if I screwed something up toward the end and needed to trash it. I'll grow MANY more photo plants in the future. Some of the autos have small yields. I doubt that's an issue with these babies! πŸ’ͺ This girl got so big that even with added supplements to help keep her stem strong, almost all her branches bent. They were HUGE. The color got very light toward the end and the leaves got a little stress because I didn't manage the humidity well. *I think* It got down in the 20s a lot. It had a fairly strong aroma toward the end of the grow but nothing compared to it's tent partner. She looks like she started fox tailing a little toward the end. Also, most likely due to temp and humidity. Closets are hard to control. All in all, this was an enjoyable grow and I look forward to trying it again and hopefully growing an even better one!! 😁

Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

πŸ‘‰The time finally arrived for the harvest, mostly cloudy trichomes with scant few amber, very few white pistols, and the leaves had either faded or were fading. The run-off pH would quickly plummet and the run-off EC would spike. This may be an indicator that the plant is ready but that only would be conjecture on my part. The overall look of the plant to me said it was ready. The aroma was super strong citrusy and intoxicating. THe leaves were fading and there were virtually no white pistols. πŸ‘‰I harvested bottom to top. I hung each cola on alphabetized clothes pins with gardening wire attached for hanging on the rack. The buds are dense and shaped like pine cones. I trimmed it semi-tight, but left some of the smaller frosty sugar leaves. The buds and sugar leaves are very frosty but it wasn’t as scissor freezing as the Gorrila Glue I grew last year. I measured the post trim wet weight on a self-calibrating digital scale. I checked the accuracy of the scale with a set of scale calibration weights and it was accurate at all weight ranges. I logged each colas trimmed wet weight and hung on the rack. I have a 42” tower fan. For first 12 hours I ran it at its medium setting, then reduced to lowest speed. I rotated the side facing the fan after 24hrs. Then after another 24 hrs I placed them in paper sacks with to top open. I left the buds on the clothes pin hanger and clipped the bag to that. After another 24 hours I closed the tops. Another 24 hrs and I test weighed a couple of colas. I monitored for another couple of days until the weights averaged 20-25% reduced from the initial wet weight. I then cataloged the weight of each cola and placed each into its own jar, most got one of those small cheap hygrometers. These hygrometers have been calibration tested and I know the drift of each. My target humidity is 62%. I would open the jars for brief periods of time during the next couple of days until the humidity stabilized at 62%. Once stable I placed 62% humidity packs in the jars. I took out most of the hygrometers for the next plants cure, but leave some of them with the best buds. The Queen cola was 20g when placed in the jar. That is about 24% remaining weight from trim. 24% is a little on the high side of the humidity target range. The jar the Queen cola is in, is a wide mouth counter jar and I will be toking that bud primarily and it will dry out the fastest. I have compensated the weight I entered on the dry weight spec to reflect about 20g more of humidity loss and another 30 for the stems that are left on the bigger buds. The final weight of the buds going into the jars was 254g (not including the larf at 23gdry). 200g of plump sticky pine cones for the final weight is pretty nice for a 1 gallon pot. πŸ‘‰I wrote this review at 3 weeks before the 6 week cure mark. In my short experience of being weed rich, its been interesting to take note of how the flower continues to β€˜cure’ as time goes on. I have found that 6 weeks isn’t a given for when its β€˜cured’. I have observed that as weed ages it changes. I have not noticed much difference with 2-3 week old buds at 62% humidity when compared to 6 weeks from jarring. But I do notice significant difference around 6 months of age. The flavor is enhanced and the buzz is stronger. It maintains this level then 8-12 months it has leveled off and all strains are becoming more β€˜couch lock’ inducing. My observations are not scientific by any means. This is just my 8th plant in the 2 years that cannabis became legal for home grow in my area. But I still have each of the plants and rotate which one I consume. πŸ‘‰I loved growing this plant, and hopefully gained more knowledge. It fox-tailed a bit at the end. I think my frequent fertigation techniques contributed to most of the issues I had. I think I was a little too conservative with nutrient mix and irrigation volume and frequency. I used only 10% expanded clay pebbles in the coco mix as opposed to the standard 30%. This was slightly problematic at first before the roots filled the pot. Fertigation events would cause erosion and caution had to be taken around the seedling. I placed a layer of hyrdoton pebbles across the surface and the issue was solved. Once the pot was filled with roots it took 10+ minutes to give the plant 2L of solution. The pot was packed hard with roots. This may have been a contributing factor to some of the possible nutrient issues I had. I dont think the nutrient issues I saw had much impact on the final outcome. To get 200g from a 1 gallon pot is wonderful.

Zoap is growing up nice, she had a little discolored roots but still white might have been from being in the little starter pot for a few extra days too long. But she is doing good gave it a nice dusting of mycorrhizae. Till next time growmies ✌️07/17/23
