12/7 These ladies are doing great! Really focusing on their buds. We added a small bit of cal mag and it seemed to pretty much stop any brown growth. #1 is just stacking buds while #2 has more and more cloudy trichomes daily. Started doing a little bit of defoliation to open up those inner sites, just gonna do a little more when she recovers from the last sessions. We are getting close to the finish line, hang in there!

I chose this strain to try smoking CBD without THC (1% is very low, it is nothing). In my country is illegal smoking weed (with THC) and after driving car. (You can smoke weed with THC, but in the law its complicated). But CBD is legal here. This is best way to smoking weed and driving car. 1.6.2k19 - 24.8.2k19 (85 days). She was ready about 70-75 days, but I had to do flushing. First flushing wit FloraKleen and second flushing with water (about 30liters in the bathroom). From 3 seeds germinated just 1. Yield will not be the best. She smells very strong. She is covered with resin (trichomors). After drying I will write update (dry yield, taste, effect,...etc.).

Great growth from all the girls this week. Stretched massively. I have done a major defoliation to let more light to bud sights. 95% flowers are in light now. I will do another Small defoliation next week. Dry amended top soil with bat guano, worm castings and bio life. Should be enough to bring them into mid flower. I had a slight fungus knat issue but got some nematodes and they are starting to clear along with sticky traps. I have also taken cuttings from a few of the girls to cross a few of the stronger strains and create my own strain. First time I will be doing this so excited to see how it turns out.

Very interesting strain from Barney’s. Let’s see what kind of pheno can we pin from this batch. I have seen some crazy colorful ones. Terpene profile should also be super complex. Just think about it Gelato, zkittlez, layer cake, crazy mix.

So here we are, day 72 september 8th. RIP first grow, I shoulda had a dehumidifier guys.... The 3 other plants are transpiring wayyyy too much and I didn't realize how much of a humidity problem it would cause. Low and behold, it ruined my girl. I believe only the main cola is affected. Can I chop her top off and continue on till the rest of her buds ripen? What can I do ?? Please help I fucked up, this really sucks ass.... EDIT EDIT: ITS NOT ROT YAY! IT'S SPIDER MITES I BELIEVE! I saw a little red bug and i was like OH SHIT. Turns out they can leave little webs in your buds. Any recommendations on how to treat this ? EDIT 9/10: Okay, after not wanting to believe it was mold.... it was mold. lol. I removed the top part of the main cola that was in the early stages of bud rot (botrytis) I have never seen the inside of a developing bud like this. I wasn't really sure exactly what I was looking at lol. So I probably removed more than I had to and some parts probably could have been salvaged but fuck that I just got rid of all of it. Cleaned the tent with lysol disinfecting wipes and got a cheap dehumidifier. I am almost 100 percent sure I am gonna have to buy a 150-200$ dehu in the near future..... i hope not tho. ALSO, changed light schedule back to 20/4. 10 AM off, 2 PM on. Hopefully this will help with some cooler temps during the day. :) and @Philindicus recommended I switch it, I am gonna take his advice this time after he warned me of mold issues xDDD Sept 11th Day 75 - Got a 50 pint GE dehu setup today, big boy moves. Plants are thriving now, 55% RH controlled and ooooo its so nice! Feels good to regain control over the grow again xD. Will post some nice pics tomorrow :) Sept 12th day 76 - sorry no pics again today, just been super busy :p Plants are still thriving, currently 50% rh in the tent and 74.5f degrees :) TEXTBOOK! La planta viene bien, salvo que los brotes del medio tienen un color distinto a los de las 4 puntas principales, pero muy linda planta sin deficiencia ni excesos por el momento, resinando mucho y formando los cogollos, 08/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (50% de osmosis + 50% del grifo) + 2 ml de cal mag + 1 gramo/L de bioenhancer de green house feeding. PH: 6.3 EC:1.0 11/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (2,5 litros de osmosis + 0,5 L del grifo) + 2,5 ml de cal mag, PH: 6.4 EC: 0.7. se hace una medición de escorrentía y salió con EC:1.8 PH: 6.3. Luego del riego se aplico en el sustrato 0,5 Litros de agua + 1.5ml de BioNeem + 1,5 ml de bioprotect ambos productos de namaste nutrientes para combatir los pulgones de raiz. Proximo riego con enzimas. 14/05 se riega con 3 litros de agua (50 osmosis 50 grifo) más 1,6 ml x L de zym de treemix pro + 2 ml x L de top bloom de top crop. PH: 6.4 EC: 1.5

Day 49 to 56. I'm not going to hide that I'm in a hurry to finish the run. The mold arrived at the end of bloom because of me, it's depressing... Thanks for your comments these last weeks. :) This 8th and last week of bloom for the Kum Zuat 1. I continued to rinse the plant all week with power clean at 5ml/l. The Kum Zuat was harvested at 56 days of bloom with 1 week of rinsing. I still found some mold on some buds of several plants that I immediately removed. My yield will be affected, I still have this pretty Kum to cheer me up! All the photos and videos on this update are about Kum Zuat 1. The other plants have been fertilized normally for this 8th week, you will find them in pictures next week. I enter the 9 th week of bloom and I have 4 plants left which will be all cut on day 63 of bloom also with 1 week of rinsing. 1 kum zuat 1 kosher cookies 2 gmo x animal cookies Can't wait to start this new run.... A great week for the sherberts. They have been topped and pinned and are growing out great. Always praying always happy. I wish my kids were like these two!. No dramas to report. They seem to like any enviroment they have been subjected to in order to keep other plants in the grow space happy. They take the cold just fine. they love the warm also. Only thing i found is they had issue sooner then others with RH over 70% ( i was running high RH to fix my Chibas) #1 has bee cleared of nodes 1 and 2 and will have another topping in 3 days or so. #2 i plan to grow out node 1 cut 2 and top 3.. Giving 12 colas in total after final topping. Started feeding some grow to them at an EC of 1.25. I was planning to repot but they seem okay atm. Maybe next week. I also dropped 2 hrs off the light scehdule so they are running on an 18/6 from 20/4. Added a little vid of the grow room ATM😅👍 Thanks for stopping by. stay safe.. Grow well.

Well it turns out those little white spots were a leading sign of spider mites. I loaned my loupe to my buddy and don't like trying to use my hand microscope directly on a plant so I did some minor surgery for inspection... and there's Nothing creepier than seeing little mites scurrying around on your babies. Pisses you off too. 😡 So we made a trip to the local hydro store and my friends there recommended Plant Therapy. https://www.lostcoastplanttherapy.com/ This stuff looks Way safer than some of the alternative products. In fact, it turns out Azamax from General Hydroponics (which this same local hydro store had sold me a year or so back) can no longer legally be sold so they removed the product. Exactly why Azamax is a problem he didn't say... but it is referenced heavily in a positive way in what is now my growers reference Bible which I've provided a picture of here somewhere. "Marijuana Horticulture Fundamentals" is so far beyond anything I had before it's humorous. I grew a couple 4 plant crops in my backyard about a decade ago and all I had was stuff written in the 1960s and 70s. I look back on those now and laugh - hippy sh*t. Now the serious children have taken over, and around here it's legal now. So screw you Mr. Sessions.
