Merry Christmas growmies 🎄 I hope you are enjoying the holidays with friends, family and Cannabis ✨😁 The Purple Haze is entering the final stage of bloom. For me this is a great time as the plants are finally at their prime. As you can see in the pictures the buds have grown big and fat. The resin is also covering most of the sugar leafs and even though it's not snowing outside, thing sure look frosty in the GTools 😅 I inspected the trichromes today and most are cloudy, no amber just yet. Going from the strain description this could be the final week before harvest. It would be cool to close off this year with a Purple Haze harvest but as always I let the plant decide when she's ready to be harvested. The pistils are still mostly white, but my main indicator are the trichromes. The two plants in the back are both a bit bigger (and have fatter buds) than the plant in the front. So maybe this one will have to grow for a week longer to reach her full potential. The plan for this week will be just giving just water and no nutrients, lower the temperature and see if I can nudge the ladies in coloring the leafs to a nice purple hue. If they don't it's perfectly ok, I'm happy with how healthy and frosty they look anyway. Let's see what this week will bring us! I just harvested my first flush of shrooms today. Sticking with a Seedsman strain this run as they seem to be the most consistent in my personal experience. Seeds always sprout, have had a 100 percent success rate germinating seeds from Seedsman after popping at least a couple from 4 different strains of theirs. On top of that the quality has been there each harvest so we are giving one of their most popular strains a go and we shall see where it takes us. Although this run I will be trying amended coco coir instead of my usual peat based mediums in an attempt to avoid a pH fallout when the dolomite lime wears out or is used by the plant and allows the peat to become more acidic mid flower. At least this is my theory.. I guess Ill find out. Another thing to note is that for germination I start in a glass of water for 12 hours and then transfer the seeds into the paper towel method by placing them in a damp paper towel until the tap roots are long enough to plant into starting pots.. by far my most successful method personally.

I dry trimmed everything I harvested. What I mean is I cut all fan leaves while the plant was still in the ground. I trimmed what I could and hung the whole plant for a few days then separated branches. The ice cream cake and the large seedling are both still hanging intact. Ice cream cake was easy as it grew more like a sativa them the indicas I usually grow. Plant reached a height of 9 to 10 feet. Yield was some what diminished due to septoria. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to plant diseases.

the weather is just wonderful at the moment. i'm happy to be growing them so early in the year. they took to the topping really well, and they also coped well with the breakage last week and have healed.

Gave water at 6.5ph will feed on week 3. I think I've had the light to close. On day 10 pictures you can see the leaves look like there burnt 🤔 or that's what I'm guessing it is. I've raised the light to 1meter it's only at around half power at the moment and showing 21000 lux.

Day 42 week 6 Feed a bonide mixture 2nd time in a week. Pest have gotten worse but trying to manage persistently. Growth seems to be picking up. Added a 2nd mars hydro Cree 128 as I got a new flower light. Trying to get them used to the new lights and a better ppfd range as I was using the wrong measurements for the past year of growing around 75 umol range … surprising yeilds though with knock off lights in those conditions looking back on it. Next grow will be smooth hopefully lol Day 47 Top dressed 444 Gia green 2 tbps Alfalfa meal 1 tbsp Kelp meal 2 tbsp Crab meal 2 tbsp Asomite 1 tsp Gradual humid acid 1 tsp Glacier rock dust 1 tsp 1-1.5 tbsp of em bokashi bran .5 mykos gruanual mycorrhizal fungi Also sprinkled some langbeinite on I’m thinking there’s potassium deficiency in the soil mixture with this long veg and haven’t feed much potassium. Leafs showing some signs of it. Added 1 inch mulch layer of rabbit compost/ wood chips and spread some clover seeds underneath. Finally got my silica in the mail so soaked it all down with 3ml or 3 grams of 1 gallon of water split between each plant sprayed into soil evenly. They are already feed so this way just to get everything started under the new mulch layer. Will spray bonide on plants to continue with any pest issues leftover.

Very pleased with fastbuds autoflowers. I have 2 plants that might have a slight issue with the soil currently but the rest look beautiful.

Im really pleased with how these girls are turning out, i was worried at 1st as the propagation tent they were in wasnt big enough to get good air flow so they were very small but as soon as i got them into the Homebox triangle tent that all changed and they are looking great. Hello growers! Tonns of defoliation and branch management this week. I added 2nd pack of stretching wires I actually don't know how to manage THAT amount of branches Shall we count this stage as a flower or veg. Well, it's transitioning At the beginning of the week PPM was 1040, by the end it's 1700+ It's hard to maintain correct level, when we add water, not changing it, i wanted to add more bloom nutrients. And she dinks well now.

It’s been hot out. A perfect time to dry buds. I love when it’s super hot or super cold when it’s time to dry buds. When it’s hot the ac makes the humidity nice and low and when it’s really cold out the heater makes the humidity nice and low

After week 2 the two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barabara Bud) plants were transplanted into their final container, a plastic pot with 11 liter of soil (light-mix) in it. Now the roots can continue to develop rapidly and the plant growth is amazingly fast. At day 18 the plants are almost 20 cm tall already and look VERY healthy as you can see in the videos.
