In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Hey Growers. Things around here are going great. These buds are fattening up super nicely, the smells are starting to overpower my lone carbon filter. It’s almost time to get the second one fired up. The buds are getting frosty and the trichomes are big and gritty like fine sand between your fingers. I’m loving all the changes I’ve made to make this as easy as possible. I still have a couple weeks to go so I’m pumped to see how big these girls can get. Happy Growing 🌱

This is THE week. The girls are putting on weight and connecting with a great fade going on. The trichomes are at about 1% amber, 25% hazy and 74% clear. I suspect that will change soon. I’m doing special feedings for the plants every other day with a shot of beastie bloomz 0-50-30 and redirecting the runoff to a separate reservoir. We are in the home stretch here and I can’t wait to trim up the super piney, earthy, floral strain.

This model was grown for ointment production. So waiting for amber trichomes was pointless. For ointment, it is good to have the THC as active as possible when the trichomes are fully milky, not overripe.. Before applying it to my skin, I made a small piece of hash. The ball weighed 2.2 grams and was pleasantly strong, citrusy, and had a hashish scent..

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie 22nd May 2020 Week 3 Hi Everyone welcome back to my GHS competition grow 😀 It's now been 3 weeks since they germinated and they are looking ok to me. They all have slightly different characteristics about them such as leaf shape etc but are all roughly the same height. On Wednesday (two days ago) I gave them all the second half of their Bio grow powdered feed , which will now take them thru until Flowering begins. I also applied some diatomaceous earth to the soil surrounding each plant. This has two uses one being as a source of silica and the second being a bug/pest deterrent. Ive added a short little video clip of me mixing in the 2nd dose of bio feed. After I applied it I simply watered it in with aprox 500mls of Water per plant. 7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.

Mi deseo es obtener buenos resultados al final de la cosecha, pero ya me siento muy feliz porque al final del cultivo lograré ganar experiencia!! 3 DE AGOSTO - DIA 10 💦👨‍🌾🏻 - Hoy es día de riego. 1 litro de agua para cada una de las niñas (600 cc desclorada y 400 cc destilada) - PH 5.9 📊 - LSD-25 #2 y SIX SHOOTER #1 parecen ser las más vigorosas del cultivo. - Relleno las macetas con tierra debido al crecimiento del tallo de las plantas. Siempre he tenido un poco de rechazo a las automáticas, no les voy a mentir 🤞. Ahora ese pensamiento desaparece y he aprendido la técnica ideal para darles tamaño en su momento vegetativo 🤜🤛 La línea de @xpertnutrients me convence mucho, el agua inicial tiene un pH de 7.7 aprox y con la mezcla en el orden adecuado el pH se regula sólo! Trabajan en sincronía con el suelo vivo del fondo, que contiene la poca humedad de la maceta textil. Ph: 6.1-6.5 EC: 700 PPM 020+/020- HR: 65% 5+5-. C⁰: 19-26% Manta térmica 24 x 7 con plato. . !! .19 horas de luz: 2 x TS600 LATERALES. !! .15 horas de luz: + 100Watts CENTRAL. !! . La idea es tener un pico de luz asimilando la naturaleza pero sin dejar de lado los soportes laterales, el led central trabaja dos horas después y se apaga dos horas antes del ciclo lumínico diario 🤜🤛 PREPARÁNDOSE PARA LA EXPLOSIÓN DE LUZ QUE VIENE!

Update week 8

Day 21: I still have my garden on a 6-2 light schedule and my two plants that i stunted do to overwatering are slowly making a come back. I am going to keep them as i am a optimistic person so im hoping for the best but to say the least it will help me learn how to deal with different problems as they arise and teach me how to manage a garden this size. I only low stress trained for 1 day which was the day that i took the pictures a few days ago. I didnt feel confident when i started it mostly because of the size and felt like i was starting the process to late. If its not to late feel free to let me know and ill try to start it again, other than that as always feel free to drop some tips and happy growing. I also added a video at the top for quick viewing. 😀

Last week of veg . Gona start. To prep for flowering. ..only fed tap water every 2 days as needed this week. No issues at all. I stopped all lst training so she can stretch bit ..she's getting pretty big she smells real nice. Excited to see her shine these next few weeks. Will update next week on her 1st week of flowering. ..enjoy the organic grow.

Wow this week has been crazy, I think the LST I did on plant 4 really helped spread it out... I'm at a loss as to how to treat plant 1, 2, and 3. 3 is still kickin, she little but she's growin buds! Some Log entries... 1/28: Fed with week 7 noots, trimmed a few dead leaves and did some LST on #4 tryin to get all buds on same program. 1/31: Watered with sledgehammer flush later on at night.

6/1 she is in flower. Gave her a feeding yesterday. 6/2 she is starting to fill out and has good color. She is a stinky little plant. Someone told me cheese is really skunk#1 that the name was changed in England to cheese. 6/5 she is moving along. She is not very tall but her buds are getting thick fast.
