Finally decent temperatures and we can start the flower! They recovered well from the temperature shock and show some growth. They got a massive haircut and trained. Now they can enter flower stage. Each plant got 50 g of Wizzy's Flower 6-8-10 organic fertilizer, 3 g / 10 L of Plant Booster and 1g / Liter Weedtamines. A few days ago. Tomorrow they'll get their dose of Pflanzengeflüster (Plant Whisper) to increase flower production.

It's always sad to be at the end of a grow. The last week was, as expected, very easy and relaxed. I flushed with Flawless Finish and watched the buds fatten up.

She was a dream to grow she is super frosty and the buzz is very cerebral and a fast onset and ending 4 hrs later with a good couch lock I am very pleased

July 18: still recovering from the hail storm 7 days ago, but looking good. Start force flowering tonight. That means in the dark garage at 9 pm, a few seconds of 730 nm far red light to initiate ‘dark mode’ 2 h faster, and then out of garage at 7 am. So I get 10 +2 or 12 h of darkness in a ‘26 h’ day. Great trick if you have daily access to your flowering plants. July 19: added second layer of scrog net. Watered with a compost tea this morning.

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

Week5 The week is over and all looks fine. Both ladies are preparing to bloom and are growing. Orange Sherbet is now 28 cm tall. Bruce Banner has caught up a lot this week and is at 25 cm. For 1 liter of water there was 0.5 ml of silicate;; 0.5 ml of Calmag;; 2 ml of BioNova BN-Zym, 2 ml of BioNova TheMissingLink;; 2 ml of BioNova Auto complete fertilizer and 1 ml of 100% organic algae juice. Ph 6.0-6.3 23°C

took out 8 litres out of the system and added 8litres rainwater. also added extra airpump (each plant has now 2 airstones) plants seem to grow at normal speed now. another week before they go in flower.

Started LST to try and get them a little bit bushier. I FIMed the purple lemonade but won’t do the other two. Just testing how different methods affect yield and growth

Man sieht wie es langsam in die letzten beiden Wochen geht. Melonade Runtz Pheno#1 hat rötliche Stängel bekommen. Ich weiß nicht ob es die Genetik oder eventuell ein Mangel ist. Sie zeigt sonst keine Mangelerscheinungen und die anderen Strains im Zelt auch nicht. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass es also genetisch bedingt ist besteht somit also auf jeden Fall. Außerdem habe ich beide Lampen auf 100% laufen und dann ist es so, dass wenn die Stängel intensivem direktem Licht ausgesetzt sind, können sie sich violett, rot oder rosa färben. Die Farbveränderung durch intensives Licht ist ein natürlicher Abwehrmechanismus der Pflanze, da sie dadurch besser vor UV-Strahlung geschützt ist. Sieht sehr schön aus 😁 Beide Phenos trinken schon etwas weniger, was darauf hindeutet dass sie sich langsam dem Ende der Blütephase nähern. Riechen tun beide immer stärker, man riecht beim Pheno#1 immer mehr die Lemon Z x Lemon Tree raus. Sehr erfrischend.

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. Another week down, time seems to be flying by. Can we just take a second to talk about the smell. OMG the fucking smell. Intense, bursting with orange, it's like I'm being waterboarded with Sunny D! Every time I open the tent, the smell literally jumps out, kicks me in the nuts, throws me in the corner and then runs wild all over the house. It's more of a feeling than a smell - You know when you arrive in a hot climate from a cool one and you step off the plane to that wall of heat? It's like that, but on your nose :) Nothing dramatic to report this week. Just beginning to ease off slightly on N levels. The week's schedule: MegaCrop: 4.75g / gallon Bud Explosion: 2g / gallon Calmag: 0.5ml / liter E.C: 2.1 PH: 6 Not really much to do other than light defoliation just to keep the air flowing.
