Started by putting all seeds in a glass water for 18 hours in a dark closet. Then I tapped each seed and they all sank. They were ready for paper towel.
Seeds are between 4 moist paper towels that are between plates in a dark closet. Will take 2 or 3 more days for sufficient tap roots to come in.
*The tap roots grew really fast, even broke their seed shell in the paper towel. Planted them and they broke the surface 12 hours later. BTW i hate growing with coco. I tried to buy some FFOF but it was sunday and all the hydro stores were closed at 7:30... grrr. Wont hurt to start in coco, but i wont wait long to transfer to real soil.
2/6 seeds didn't germinate! I 100% blame the seeds because it's my 4th grow and i have always germinated 100%.
They are 1 inch tall after 7 days. I planted the 4 that germinated in the paper towel and the 2 that didn't for grins. One of the 2 that didn't actually sprouted today! Woo.
Second week was bad. Stunted growth even with a little bit of grow nutrients. So got rid of the coco, I've never had luck with it. Repotted in foxfarm soil, so it should start growing again soon. And I wont need nutrients for a few weeks. I hope the stunting doesn't effect them long term.
One positive note: the seeds I said that didnt germinate, they grew. So 6 for 6 success.
Growing at a good pace. Going to top the leaders at the 3rd node on day 28. Might wait a week for the others. Going to mainline my grow for the first time. I will wait to defoliate after they heal from being topped. I will update this week with more pictures after they are topped.
Topped day 28.
Defoliated day 30.
Lst day 32?
Looking at how small they are is making me regret main lining. But not quitting yet. May choose to do a less stressful version than I had planned though. Plant is frowning day 35. Rough day.
Not adding nutrients quite yet. They already look like they are getting a good amount of nitrogen.
Mainlining was too stressful on these plants. Changed my mind to just lst and small topping.
Size and color of each plant are varying making it difficult to choose what to feed. Just started adding gro nutrients. Some look like they need more and others are getting too much N.
Not particularly impressed with this veg at day 43, but i knew it wouldn't be the easiest grow considering the strain. Still excited for flower and to smoke it at the end of this summer.
Lots of LST and its working well. Getting the right parts more light. Adding very little nutrients. All but one looks healthy except one that is VERY yellow. I always seem to get at least one rebel. Happy with the growth this week, especially from the top 2 girls.
Hoping Recharge will help the plants that were struggling. I've heard great things about it.
3 or 4 more weeks of veg. I want them big! Not growing as fast as other strains I've grown before.
Probably 2 weeks until I'm ready to switch to flower. This strain is very touchy with nutrients, i dont recommend it for noob growers. A couple of the plants look 3 weeks old lol. I might not even recommend the strain in general. Hopefully flower will shock me.
Decided this is the last week of veg. Growth is slowing, so im wondering if these "100% indicas" are maxing out given my setup (and some of them stunting). Stay alive and thrive! Introducing some bloom nutrients this week. Continuing to use recharge once a week.
I've had trouble deciding all veg on how much FloraGro to add. The yellowing screams more to me but the best plants have curling fan leaves already. Definitely been tougher to keep healthy than my last 3 or 4 grows.
Day 73- We had a power outage for most the day. That decided today will be the first day of flower. Switching to 12 hour light schedule.
Day 74- Big defoliation day and watering.
Day 75- they bounced right back even after their rough day yesterday
Food schedule: feed every 2.5 days
-flora trio nutes and calmag
(2.5 days)
-recharge
(2.5 days)
-normal pH water
(2.5 days)
New feeding schedule seems to be bringing the girls new life. I might have to give the Recharge credit. Also checking pH very thoroughly. Stick doesn't seem to work well anymore. PH could be why the couple in the back were growing slow the last few weeks while the others were slightly more resistant.
Crossing finger to find purple phenos in a couple week.
Showing signs of flower. Checking for stress seeds or hermie plants every time I water. So far so good though. Feeding schedule seems to be working great. I'm gonna really hit em hard with the florabloom next week.
Looks like I got 3 purple pheno and 3 green phenos. How lucky is that! I think average.. They are pretty.
Nodal spacing is quite short, as expected, but I still think I can force some sizeable buds out of them.
Forgot to pH my watering yesterday... grr. And it's not the first time. Oh well, I always make sure leave myself lots of room for improvement. A bit early to say, but I would love to grow this strain again someday if Seedsman sells them again. The fast bud development make me wonder if they really are 100% inbred "pure indicas" from the mountains of Pakistan.
Houston, we have a problem.
Brown spot have developed on 3 of 6 PCK plants. So many questions... pH inaccuracy? Nutrient lockout? Too much of a nutrient? Cal mag...
Bud are still devoping. Small yield for number of days... mistakes in week 2 stunted them and only a medium yielding strain. Exited to try this, but im growing big yielders next grow.
After a couple of the plants started having issues, I changed the feeding schedule to go back and forth between Recharge and plain pH watering. Feed ever other day. Putting all my trust in Recharge! PCK is not really a good beginner seed to try. Hopefully with the experience have have from 4 other grows it will be worthwhile for this indica.
Post was 3 days late, sorry.
Taste is amazing. Fruity. High is low to average. Difficult to grow (do not top), but recommend to indica lovers. Difficult to trim, very leafy.
3 of the 6 plants had purple spotted buds.
Do not train to hard in veg. Scrog net is probably the way to go. I topped several times and stunted them. Nutrients were also touchy so I don't recommend it for first grow. This was my 4th grow and by far the most finicky. Only worth if you truely love indica and dont mind giving them lots of time. I must say flavor and smell is wonderful and unique. My house smells amazing after trimming these. Good resin production for a strain that only expects 15% THC. Still gets me high, but what truely makes this strain special is the taste!
3 of 6 plants had purple.
Looking at ur nutrients I’d say you gave it to much. For Landrace strains u have to remember they grow in poor soil in harsh conditions of Pakistan. So these pure indica landraces need little to no nutrients. I use an organic homemade concoction of mostly compost worm castings used coffee grinds during bloom cycle(used coffee may burn with nitrogen on these nutrient sensitive plants.) also add epsom for magnesium and sulfur and eggshells I boil dry and crush. Mix those ingredients up message me if u want more of how much to use. Use monthly top feedings of that and cut out the coffee grinds during the bloom cycle and replace it coconut water
(10-1) water to coconut water and water it with that whenever it looks like it has some deficiency. Coconut water adds a boat load of great nutes but idk how much nitrogen it has so I’d use it in bloom cycle only other than that use organic pesticides like dr zymes or trifecta which is safe to use on blooming cannabis plants up until flush.
