The girls have been very busy making golf balls this week! The cookies are also starting to frost up 🤗 At the beginning of the week there was not much to do, the girls had stopped stretching and were settled in. In my 2x4 tent, all I had to do was tuck fold the leaves to open up the bud sites. I basically did the same for my big tent. Simply moved some leaves from blocking sites, and plucked just a few that were rather large. They are still needing to be watered every 72 hours or so. I have been keeping to a feed, water, feed schedule now that we are into flower. I just started to notice that some of the tops are showing some nutrient burn, just a little, and not every plant. This tells me I have hit their limit with the nutrients, somewhere between 700 and 750 ppm. The last watering I did, I watered to about 10% runoff, trying to make sure that there are no salt or mineral buildup that can cause lockout or other issues. At the end of the week, day 21, I defoliated both tents, not too much, but enough to open up the bottom growth a bit. Also tidied up the lower portion below the trellis, as this just wastes energy and yield from the main colas in the long run. No real issues or problems so far, Happy Gardening Folks! 🇨🇦👊❤️😎💨

Welcome to week 6 I started to see signs of nutrient deficiency during the course of week 5 and decided to correct this deficiency by trying to lower the nutrient level by all signs it appears to have worked. I was using the recommended level of nutrients on the bottle but after having conversations with fellow Growers I come to the conclusion that it was still too strong for my plants so I'm using half the dosage. Doing that has resulted in the plants growing very healthy no signs of deficiency in any of the leaves above the lower leaves so it appears that I've corrected the problem. That's my update for the week keep your stick on the ice PPM's are at 1125 but 376 PPM of that is just the water and in installing a water cleaning system to see if i can bring that down

Yet again another amazing run from the blue cheese. Barneys really got it right with this strain. Dense, frosty, smelly, Big heads literally everything i look for in a strain. Not too mention the high is the best! I love a good cheese smoke and harvesting this strain just as the trichomes fill with milky cloudy colours I fell gives the best high. Energetic and uplifting and just all around amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

All pictures were taken on day 57 Buds are stacking up and her smell intensified a lot this week😸I am impressed by the size of her buds🙀I have not seen such a big headbud outdoor after such short flowering💪 I gave her about 4L with 0.7ml/l Top-Max & Bio-Bloom this week and 0.4ml/l Bio-Grow More lower leaves are getting yellowish but it should be fine with current feeding✊

The plants are huge and they are developing preflowers. I lowered the photoperiod to 14/10 in 3 days I lowered it to 12/12. I gave water to flushing roots and now I gave phosphorus and potassium for flowering

So far so good. No major changes in week 11. Added my second trellis in. Timelapse should be done by next week. I can only do 30 days max so will have to start another and stitch the two together. One of my plants looks like it may have nitrogen claw so I plan to flush with some plain water tomorrow.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2201 girl and she's certainly on a roll! When I checked on her today her medium was still moist so I'll let her go and check her tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure her medium doesn't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch her grow! 🤩 12/17- Yesterday I watered her and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen her branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched her grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered her with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses added which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. She is really starting to take off now, a sure sign her roots are beginning to get well developed, and I'm thinking of going ahead and topping her in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped this girl! Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. Today I watered her with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into her drip pan so she can draw it up into her medium, the rest I applied to the top of the medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and she should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time. When I gave fertilizers, I always diluted them with water even more to reduce ppm Day 68: I added cal-mag to the diet because the leaves are really turning yellow from the bottom. 0.5 ml Day 70: I added 1 ml cal-mag

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

Hey guys! Another update! 😃 This week is going to be the last one that I feed the plants and after that I'm going to just flush them for just one week. I took photos during the middle of the week just to see how trichomes were developing and there are more ambar! I want the top colas to be about 50% ambar and 50% cloudy while the ones below 30% ambar and 70% cloudy and I think I'll be able to reach that with ease. Besides that this week was relaxing, no big issues! And I've been removing more fan leaves so when the right moment arrive it'll be easier to clean the plant! And that way I can get some extra development in lower colas. The smell is strong now compared to other weeks (it's been getting stronger every week!) 😲 PD: The question is still up!
