2024/04/26 : feeding with 1L Orgatrex&Bactrex (third flowering week from Biotabs' schedule). I bought a space booster kit and a web plant support from Secret Jardin : plant doesn't touch tent and second net will help me guide the colas and avoid defoliating for the moment. Blueberry is stretching a bit yet nothing alarming. It drank about 15L this week! I set LED to 30~38 DLI and adjusted temperatures to 26°C/19°C (I want purple! 😉).

Getting very close to the end now, will probably start the flush in week 9, starting to finally show a little bit of colours, I’ve lowered my temps to 23 degrees and humidity to 50, buds really starting to bulk up now and honestly can’t wait to smoke them, smell is very strong

What can I say....So far she is a beauty. Beautiful indica structure and easy to please. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. I feel like I need to cut a clone off her and cross breed it with something but not sure what. Maybe the bubble bomb.... Nutrients per gallon .75 tsp maxibloom .2 tsp liquid koolbloom .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

This week has been such a gift! I have learned so much about proper care for a plant I had no idea how little I knew sitting down and observing these majestic trees produce such a potent flower has really humbled me. Premium cultivars strain has shown resilient and self sustaining easy to grow traits that it is hard to mess up. (Which I’ve done a few times lol) Notice the trichomes (I put the zoom lens on and got up in there so they could be better seen the bud itself is slathered in them ! This is going to be an amazing smoke! Also looking at the structure of the bud it’s self it has volume very full bodied bracts with pistils throughout It’s just an all-around beautiful thing to observe

Once you get to this point in the cannabis life cycle, growing is easy. Using the Beanstalk line of nutrients allows me to only use water from beginning to the end of my grows. No mixing nutes, no teas, no anything. I adjust the pH of my water to the 5.8-6.5 range, but I’m not even sure that is necessary. I have never tested using water right out of the tap as it’s almost 9.0, but that would simplify things even further. Experience has taught me to simplify. This goes for all aspects of growing. I used to top and train my plants under a tellis. Then I would spend hours trimming and had jars overflowing with flowers that I was never going to smoke. Now, I go for a month of veg and right into flower. No training, no topping. In addition to allowing a much faster turnover, I can gauge the growth habits of my plants much more effectively. For example, you can see this Shiskaberry plant exhibits significant and abundant lateral branching. Not only that, but those branches are strong enough to support the weight of the flowers they hold. This means that this plant would be an ideal candidate for a ScrOG or LST setup where the goal is a ‘carpet’ of flowers. After running this cultivar several times, I also have an accurate flowering timeline and can approximate stretch to allow users to fit their grow. More on this in the future. For now, enjoy the end of week 5.

Welcome to week 5 of my Smoothie by Fastbuds diary Growth looks good, stem is still very flexible? but growth looks satisfying. I'm impressed with the growth, almost just as big as my white cheese, which is in 15L soil. Happy and strong plant, smell is low/normal

Even in the flowering period, she keeps on growing as seen in the video. So many leaves are found on her. The leaves are much larger than those in the last week. The largest leaf should be about 20x20 squared centimetres in area. The color of the leaves looks green and healthy. I find some flowers appearing in between her stems. The smell seems much stronger than ever. To help her flowering, the Dutch Formula nutrients are appended to water. Nitrogenous fertilizer is excluded from my recipe to avoid nitrogen lockout. Bit more eventful of a week this one. Just going about my normal business when I was checking them over making sure all sex organs were female. Noticed that something seemed amiss. I took me a bit to figure out why one of my girls hermie’d, but a bit of thinking back brought something to the forefront. I had not had the 3rd and 4th pieces of shelving, and since I had the shelving upside down, I had to balance them on the edge with a piece of wood. I had rearranged my plants after watering, and did not make sure each one was steady, when I went to open my tent on probably day 27 or 28, i saw one of my babies had fallen off the shelf and was crushed up against the wall of the tent at a 45 degree angle! I was like NOOOO sunflower not you!!! So at least I know why the darn thing did what it did. I removed it from the others as soon as I noticed. Wanting to see the root structure I chopped it at the base of its stalk. The whole pot had very healthy roots so that was good to see. Was still having trouble with the plants seeming to reject the cal-mag and other nutes I was giving it. Only had pool ph strips. Yakno, the ones that only have a range down to 6.2….. More on that next week.

So far first week of flower been great, watching as the days goes by. I defoliated and top dressed a week before flip and they are super bushy already. Looking forward to stripping them again sometime end of next week. Feed them every other water with little run of, soil and water ph tested every other day. No complaints so far. Happy growing everyone. Stay bless

Harvested 7.49 Oz of dry flower after drying for 8 days. This plant is fairly difficult to grow and not resilient in my opinion. I would advise looking at their other strains like apple strudel if you want something easy to grow. Check out my videos on Youtube/Rumble/IG - DabKing7200
