FBTF was amazing. I tested topping with this plant, and while I do think that topping and root issues were the reason this plant did not grow so big. However, I did harvest dense colas that were all even in size and equally dense with loads of orange hairs everywhere, I am definitely growing again next grow.

Tester FBA2504 – 42 Fast Buds | Harvest Report Harvest time! This Fast Buds tester delivered beyond expectations. The plant developed a compact and productive structure with dense, rock-hard buds absolutely drenched in trichomes. The central cola stands out, but the side branches didn’t fall behind—each one stacked with sticky, frosty flowers. The aroma is intense and unmistakable—sharp, chemical-like notes that hit hard and linger in the room. A truly powerful scent that hints at strong effects to come. Grow Setup: • Strain: Tester FBA2504 by 42 Fast Buds (Autoflower – genetics unknown) • Nutrients: Xpert Nutrients • Light: Mars Hydro FC-3000 EVO • Pot size: 11L • CO₂: used during veg and the first 4 weeks of flowering • Flowering time: ~78 days • Trichomes: ~15% amber at harvest This girl is frosty, loud, and ready to cure—can’t wait to see how she smokes!

So flushed for a week now and harvested all but one plant! Personally think I timed harvest time on a few plants wrong as they seem quite dark! Also picking at fan leaves very late on certainly didn’t help on two of the plants but overall for my first grow quite pleasing but know a lot can be improved on for my next grow! Personally also added canna pk13/14 to late into flowering time Harvest 2 x sensi skunk fem 1 x auto gsc 1 x auto bcn Remaining sensi skunk plant is currently in darkness for 72 hours before being harvested!

🌱 Grow Report — Week 9 (Week 5 Flower) Photoperiods | 12/12 from Seed vs 2 Weeks Veg After weeks of growth, adjustments, patience, and a few ups and downs… we’ve arrived at one of the most exciting stages of the cycle. This is where everything starts to come together. ⸻ 🔬 Quick Recap (for anyone joining now) We’re running the same genetics in two different approaches: • 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 from seed (no veg) • 🌱 Plant B — 2 weeks veg before 12/12 Current environment: • 🌡️ 28°C • 💧 60–65% RH • ⚡ EC 2.4 • pH 6.5 • 🌬️ CO₂ ~1000 ppm • 💧 Water intake: ~1.5–2L/day Both plants are healthy, vigorous, and pushing hard — but expressing themselves very differently. ⸻ 🌿 What’s Happening This Week This is true flower acceleration. You can see it clearly: • Bud sites stacking • Internodal spacing defining structure • Pistils exploding • Trichomes beginning to coat everything The plant is now shifting energy from: 👉 vertical growth → flower production + resin output ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — The Frost Begins Those macro shots… beautiful. What you’re seeing: • Early capitate-stalked trichomes forming • Resin heads still mostly clear • Rapid increase in density on sugar leaves and calyxes Why do trichomes exist? They’re not just “frost”: • 🛡️ Protection against UV • 🐛 Defense against pests • 💧 Moisture regulation • Chemical factory (terpenes + cannabinoids) What does this level of production mean? 👉 Strong genetic expression 👉 Good environmental balance 👉 High potential for quality resin later on Right now = foundation stage Later = bulking + ripening ⸻ 🌸 Pistils (White Hairs) — What They Tell Us Those white hairs everywhere = pistils. They are: • The female reproductive organs • Designed to catch pollen (which we don’t want here) What they indicate: • Plant is in active flower development • Bud sites are still building structure • No maturity yet — still early/mid stage When they: • Turn orange/brown → maturity approaching • Recede → calyx swelling begins Right now? 👉 Peak formation phase ⸻ 🌱 Bud Formation & Structure You said it perfectly: 👉 “Golf balls forming” That’s exactly it. What we’re seeing: • Tight clusters starting • Defined spacing between bud sites • Structure that will determine final yield Key observation: • The spacing is clean and organized • Light penetration is doing its job • No overcrowding → better airflow + resin potential ⸻ 🌿 Color & Health That lush green? 👉 Perfect. It means: • Nitrogen still available but not excessive • No major deficiencies • Photosynthesis running strong At EC 2.4: 👉 They’re feeding heavy and accepting it well ⸻ 🌱 The Big Comparison — Two Different Timelines 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 From Seed • Shorter (~90 cm) • More compact • Earlier flower maturity • Faster transition 👉 This one is ahead in flower development ⸻ 🌱 Plant B — 2 Weeks Veg (Studio Plant) • Taller (~120 cm) • More branching • More sites • Slight delay in flower maturity 👉 Still building structure + stretching slightly longer ⸻ ⚖️ Why This Difference Happens It’s simple but powerful: 👉 Time in vegetative state = structural foundation • Plant B had more time to: • Build roots • Create branches • Store energy So: • More size • More sites • But slightly delayed flowering Meanwhile: • Plant A went straight into reproduction mode 👉 Faster flowering, less structure ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next 🌱 12/12 From Seed Plant • Faster ripening • Smaller but denser buds • Likely earlier harvest • More uniform structure ⸻ 🌱 2 Weeks Veg Plant • Bigger colas • More yield potential • Slightly longer flowering time • Possibly more variation between buds ⸻ ⚠️ What NOT to Expect (yet) • No cloudy/amber trichomes yet • No final swelling • No terpene peak yet 👉 That comes later (weeks 6–8+) ⸻ 🙏 Closing — From Grower to Growers To everyone following this journey: • The OGs • The new ones • The silent watchers • The ones asking questions • Even the critics This is for all of you. To the sponsors, the genetics, the tools, the platform… To the environment, to the process… To the ups, the downs, and everything in between. And to the plants themselves 🌱 — because at the end of the day, they do the real work. ⸻ This week is special. You can feel it: 👉 The shift 👉 The momentum 👉 The promise of what’s coming And we’re just getting started. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficial NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! If you've made it this far... thanks!! Cheers!

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I learnt a lot about topping. To be fair, I don't know if this was what affected her final crop or if I stunned her in the last defoliation. Quite inclined for that option.. After all this, finish with this amount of bud is ok and positive lessons were taken for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one after drying and curing. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. Thank you all for following this diary, for the likes, all comments and answers to my questions. Without your feedback wouldn't have got this far. Smoke report will follow when the bud is ready, now is hanging and drying. Thank you all

Beginning of week 8 and seems like a long way to go. Most of the hairs still white. Hopefully the buds will fill in more! As right now I’m planning to take it 10+ weeks. This week I will lower the CO2 slowly 50 PPM every day until I will reach 800PPM. Also I will lower the light intensity by 2% every day. This week I lowered the day temp to 79 degrees and next week I’m playing to lower it every further to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temp is at 68 degrees and probably from week 9 I will lower it to 66. Beginning of week 8 TDS is at 550PPM. I sent adding the Late bloom enhancer from Current Culture! End of week 8 : lowered the TDS to 470ppm , she seems that it not eating so much nutrients anymore. She still drinking 3 gallons of water every single day.

-SOAKING SEEDS STARTED AT 4:15PM on 4/2/22 All of them sank by the next day with a little stirring of the water - most of them were floating before I stirred the water then they sank & stayed underwater. -PLANTING SEEDS STARTED AT 6PM on 4/3/22 Seedling Starter Soil: 1 Coco Coir Block (hydrated with 12cups aquarium water) About 5 cups Vermiculite 4Tbsp Down To Earth Starter Nutrients Mycorrhizal Fungi Spring Water - watering the hole with mycorrhizal before planting seed & then again after planted. -AFTER THE FIRST SPROUT ON 4/5/22 Turned on seedling clip light to blue only, dimmest setting @ 20%. Keeping light on for 18/6 6am-12pm - 4/6/22 INCREASED BLUE ONLY SEEDLING LIGHT TO 50% It seems like they were slightly stretching for light **watch for light burn on cotyledon leaves** -4/7/22 MORNING INCREASED BLUE ONLY SEEDLING LIGHT TO 100% The plants are stretching even more I increased light to full 100%, it'll have to keep an eye on them & make sure they don't get light burnt or topple over from reaching -4/7/22 AFTERNOON SWITCHED LIGHT TO GIIXER The two tallest plant cotyledon started to droop to the side so I didn't want to take a risk continuing to try the clip light only on blue @ 100%. I have the Gixxer on only veg at a distance of 10" away from the tops of the cotyledon leaves. I also cracked the lid & put an oscillating fan on low just to give them a tiny bit of movement to strengthen their stems because they'll be tall and weaker with stretching. *I tried using a new seedling light & it was a failure - they are now stretching due to that light. I switched back to my trusted seedling light & hoping they'll be back on track.*

The growing cycle itself worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine.000

Day 29 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 32 04/08/24 Sunday 300ml De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today again with Plagron PK13-14 and power buds. All plants doing really well! Had an infestation of leaf minors this week, no idea how, but they are treated and I'll check every 48 hrs on progress of pets. All of them have shot up this week 💚 Day 34 06/08/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with calmag only. Pre flower stretch initiated, pre flower female sex pistils forming 😍 All happy and healthy!

Starting to really take off in length since her 2nd feeding. I've been so far alternating between plain ph'd water and feeding every 3-4 days, moving on to week 5 feeding schedule in the coming days. This girl definitely smells a bit more than my first grow (great white auto) and I like that 😍 I'm wondering when I should start to defoliate a bit....

Hello everyone, I'm really pissed about the 3 Afghan skunk plants, the package description says feminized seeds but they are in flower mode while the light is on 24/7, the people at Expert steeds are doing a terrible job packaging the seeds! Last time i buy seeds from expert steeds that is for sure. In 2 days they will get a good defoliation and than it's racing to the finish. Midweek update: i changed the pictures and video, i will post updates every Sunday in the future. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day. Growfather
