First Grow! Hopefully, everything goes well, using some happy frog soil and fox farm nutrients. I read some good reviews.
Planted 1/24.
Using the 2x2x6 AC Infinity Grow Tent Kit.
Seeds Sprouted 1/26.
All three look to have sprouted nicely, great success. It seems the one getting the best light is the shortest, are the other two stretching too much? They do seem tall.
I am having humidity problems, I can't keep the tent above 50% and it mostly sits in the low 40s. I have a dome over all the plants right now keeping plants at around 75%. Gonna get a humidifier soon.
The plants are looking pretty healthy and growing quick! They are too big for the humidity dome I had and I still can’t get humidity up. I hope it doesn’t negatively impact too much. Gonna start nutrients slowly this week.
One of the plants is showing yellow spots, I have not added nutrients yet, what could this be?
Plants are huge, leaves smell nice. Spots are still there but only on a few of the Top Gun leaves. Humidity is super low, getting a humidifier soon. Starting to see a tiny amount of white pistils.
28 days since planted.
The topped Froot by the Foot is going great, I didn’t even cut it I rolled the little bulb with my fingers. The humidity is super low, the plants don’t seem to mind too much. Adding FF Grow Big today. Also pretty warm in the tent. The top gun has this really pretty dark green leaf, it has almost a blueish hue, I hope I get some more of those. Thanks for checking out my grow🤙
Day 34. This was a long week for the flowers. This week I noticed they were being very sad and droopy. I also noticed that the Top Gun had started to produced pollen sacs. I’m not sure what kind of stress caused this as the humidity has been low, vpd high, and severely underwatering. Gave the plants about .4 gallon of water each on day 33 to try to catch them back up. Huge difference in just one day from watering. Most of the leaves are pointed and preying now. Still have some older growth that is droopy and yellowing, I’m not sure what it could be? I will probably chop them off soon anyways. Thanks for checking the grow out.
Day 42.
Start of Week 6 for these girls and they are going great. Humidity Temps and VPD have been running perfect all week, plants are getting sufficient water now, no more stress, haven’t seen any more pollen sacs on the top gun.
The Froot by the Foot is growing so fast, the buds smell like a slightly creamy coffee right now. It might be the best thing I’ve ever smelled. They are stacking beautifully, have an even canopy after being topped and looking really healthy and frosty. Cant wait to see what they put out in the next couple weeks.
The Top Gun is growing tall, definitely taking longer, not very strong smell, developed buds. Still gets pretty droopy at times.
The Gallon top gun is also going great and looking healthy, just super stretched. I’ve been trimming it and the fruit by the foot. I’m hoping to just get one nice fat nug on it. Thanks for checking out my grow🤙 bigger and better from here.
Day 49
Almost 50 days since these girls have been planted, the growth is phenomenal.
Since last week, I haven't seen any more pollen sacs on the Top Gun, I've topped off the grow bags with more soil and have done some more defoliation on the Top Gun.
I'm learning a lot just by having these two plants whom I've treated so differently together, FBTF was topped and defoliated early on, Top Gun was left to grow, and not as much defoliation. I've ended up with 8 colas on my FBTF, which I am very pleased with. FBTF has also matured much quicker than the Top Gun, throwing orange pistils and starting to dense up into real buds. Top Gun is also starting to produce more at its bud sites, and also starting to smell stronger. I still think overall its 2-3 weeks behind FBTF. My little 1 gallon top gun is also going well, hoping for a Christmas tree. Thanks for checking out my grow!
Day 56 from plant.
Froot by the Foot is starting to dense up, getting real frosty too. Not much to say about her she is just going along.
Top Gun is got a load of bud sites that are starting to look like buds now, still pretty far behind FBTF, having some problem leaves too, if any of you know what that leaf could be a sign of, lmk. Still haven’t seen any new pollen sacs. Smelling more pungent compared to how sweet FBTF smells. Top Gun 1 Gal is starting to dense up aswell, further along then the bigger top gun but still quite behind FBTF. Also borrowed a nice camera for pictures. Thanks for stopping by.
This is day 75 from plant.
Froot by the Foot is nearing the end, smelling very sweet and creamy.
Finally showing the one gallon Top Gun some love, it’s looking so cool now and smelling super funky, my favorite smell. Got some good photos using a loupe I just got. The big top gun is much bigger than the others, its cola is very impressive too me, so cool how it stacks.
Day 83 from plant.
This is the final week of flowering for the girls, I plan on chopping on 4/20.
The Top Gun could definitely go longer but could only go so long with this first grow. Still showing a good amount of white pistils and not so dense nugs.
FBTF is falling over, all of the stems seem to being really weak on all of my plants.
Top Gun (1 gal) has stopped taking water, the cola is pretty dense is looking real cool.
The plan is to go lights out with no water two days before chopping, any other advice is very welcome. Gonna get good final pictures too.
First grow finally done! .
I battled a lot of inconsistencies with my environment and watering schedule.
Despite this, and my big top gun growing pollen sacs, I had a great grow, and seedless buds!
Top Gun 1 Gal harvested 25 grams dry
Top Gun 5 Gal harvested 60 grams dry
I really enjoyed the 1 gallon a lot more, easier to manage and rooted up the whole pot, going to try 3 gals next grow.
FBTF was amazing. I tested topping with this plant, and while I do think that topping and root issues were the reason this plant did not grow so big. However, I did harvest dense colas that were all even in size and equally dense with loads of orange hairs everywhere, I am definitely growing again next grow.
