12.12 Ok finaly girls got their move to 16L root pouches and straight inside the tent. I mixed them nice "soil" with 50L all mix 15L worm castings and 40L of coco coir. I mixed those and gave a good first watering with BiiRhizo, Root Juice, alg a-mic, acti vera, grow, tarantula and voodoo juice. Then I placed netting. I'm gonna use it trellis style not bending much. Planning to keep as short veg as possible, so as soon as I'm happy with their size I'll flip to 12/12. Less than a week I think. Second watering I gave "pre flower" nutes which are listed above. I'll go with those without Nirvana and carbo load untill I'll flip to flower. I use these bottles of advenced nutrients that I have but I won't be buying more I think. Exept NIrvana, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice. They look little droopy maybe because little getting used to new homes but they good now already. Also 600w HID coming to replace 26w LED is kinda shocking at first. But yeah seems like awesome genetics, fat healthy leafs and same goes to stems. 💪 Ok coming back at ya next week, maybe I have flipped when we'll back..hope I wont flip too much 😜😅😝👺👌 HAHappy growing! 👽

I decided to mainline my plants this week. I've never done HST, but I felt confident and I'm extremely happy with the results. I also gave each plant a litre of Multifeed because I noticed some leaf necrosis and yellowing which I believe is a bit of nutrient deficiency.

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

Day 21 Flowering: Well what a week it has been this week growmies Dealing with flash heat waves , building soils , setting up new lights and generally trying to squeeze every last inch of my grow space for plants without creating a stagnant lower growth below the canopy . airflow is vital with such a cramped , hot and dense budded canopy starting. I have been feeding the Banana mash with a slightly lighter feed than the Purple monkey and they look a lot less toxic. Still way behind the Purple Monkey for bud production and density , theyvare stretching wildly still. The main 3 are very similar in size etc but #4 is really getting like a bowl of noodles now and will need some serious thinning out and brutal decisions in who goes to harvest time. Being in the middle of the canopy she is really trying to spread out wider too. The Banana mash are really good, vigorous growers with lots of side branching to create some really big plants full of budsites , the key will be if you can utilise all of that growth or if ,like me, you need to select the best branches and tips to focus on. The Purple Monkey are all doingreally good and for 21 days , the buds are very well developed. It could indicate an early flowering finish around 7 weeks possibly but I am hoping it is more about their intended finish being huge buds. The #1and #2 are really packing the weight on amd stacking the nodes already. this gives their buds a really solid appearance already and I will be very cautious of allowing moisture to build up with this density . The #3 is a different pheno to the other 2 and her buds are further apart and more spikey looking. She is also trying to hit the clouds still so need to be firmly held down if you want to keep them low. I have been supercropping the tallest of the limbs and trying to keep them upright enough to stay in the light available. She will need support once her buds pack the weight on. They are all starting to smell so sweet too and even now have a nice sticky appeal when touched. I could not recommend this strain enough and love growing it already. The purple is starting to appear in #2 already and should continue as it is not related to temp drops at all that can happen . Shebwill live up to her namesake i think. The other 2 are pure white and solent green looking buds which are a great examples of what they can do. I can only see a great yield from how they are going now and wishbinjad a room full of them .lol. The other 2 crosses are both starting to hit their stretch max now with the Exotic? really looking thick and bushy and showing her sex now. She needs to stretch now to get her mains up into the canopy without the tub underneath. The Mango X Mimosa is in full flowering mode for sure with no signs of any male gonads or hermie behaviour...It is making a huge plant so far and with the massive growth of the father being the main driver I think and she/he put out over 5oz. Fingers crossed for that size with beautiful exotic mango cream buds ..... So there we have it for this update growmies. Hope the video isn't too long this time guys but a lot happening in the room. Until next time. keep it green and be free .

Week 7 begins. Removed some dead leaves and big leaves that were blocking light to the lower parts of the plant. Buds are big, white and frosty! Very happy with the plants development up to this point.

Hello Diary. Two new diaries. Hulkberry and Green Gelato, both Automatic. Many thanks to RQS for these strains, and I am very happy to be starting with the new storys. WHY HULKBERRY AUTOMATIC? HulkBerry Automatic is Royal Queen Seeds’ revved-up version of Bruce Banner #3 Auto. She’s one of the most potent autos you can get your hands on, easily outperforming many photoperiod strains in this area. Her compact and frosty flowers provide a THC content of up to 21%, enough to satisfy the most experienced of smokers. Expect a wave of euphoria to crash over you after a vape hit or bong bowl of HulkBerry Automatic. The strain is motivating, increases alertness, and gets the creative juices flowing. She makes a superb smoke when listening to music and watching films, or when indulging in your own creative endeavours. Overall, she’s an excellent strain for daytime use. LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L Fabric Pot from RQS Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition I apologize in advance for the detailed documentation, or the large number of photos, but I enjoy it, and I think it will help others around tracking their plants. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seeds of the new strain Hulkberry Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pots in their new home. I planted two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato Automatic. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Hulkberries came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Their first photo shoot, I also watered their with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Hulkberries is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. Their got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Hulkberry #1 - Day 7. - 9 cm Hulkberry #2 - Day 7. - 10 cm I think that’s all for this week, I’m happy that it’s starting all over again, following its development and looking forward to what’s to come. See you next week.

Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Plants may use approximately 25% of their respiratory energy (50% of total respiration) for enzyme turnover, which includes production and repair, but the exact energy cost for heat damage repair is not specific, as the total respiratory energy is not definitively given for plants. Plants generally have a high protein turnover rate, with enzymes making up a substantial portion of this turnover. 10% total ATP is photosynthetically processed. 90% total ATP is processed during cellular respiration. 25% -50% total respiratory energetic output is spent on enzyme turnover (Ballpark). Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

So i went for quick vacation/holidays to Georgia (love it!) and asked a friend of mine that lives nearby to take care of me babies 😊 so he watered the girls every 3,5 days on average (4 times during 14 days) with just as little as 100 ml per plant. Now I come back yesterday and I’m very happy with my girls - they look super thriving and eager to grow! I’m surprised as so very different they look from my previous grow in same setup except hydroponics - this time in soil in same day of vegetation they look much more dense and just thriving! Wow soil makes huge difference indoors. I saw 2 top leaves (on pictures & on video) with light nutrients burn (no idea why - I just added root juice). Also I know for sure that my light timer has broken - there were days when light was 24h on...I don’t know what might that cause... but now is all good - light timer fixed. I think that I will just keep feeding them water. What do you think guys? Would love some advice! Oh and pictures and videos are from yesterday. Before topping and after topping. On 2 girls I have used new topping technique. Thanks!

Cut the little Canuck on day 75 before dawn and placed in tub of clean water for 4 hours to remove debris. Then hung under a shady tree to dry excess water. Very dry breezy day. By evening I weigh it at 168 grams stem and all. Then hung upside down bag open to dry. It was beginning to wilt after 48 hours... hopefully long enough to break down some carbs. I’ll be checking every day an if rain threatens I’ll put in shed. Hope to trim and bag in shed after 7 days to finish drying. Pyramid is ready to cut. It will get the same treatment. I know this is a little unorthodox and a bit risky getting the plant so wet before drying. I feel like it just gives the plant an extra day to use up any nutrients and break down those starches.

Seguimos 👽 ...

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Will update again with a smoke report soon, this plant brought my total so far up to 168 off 4 plants👍🏼 Thanks for following friends & happy growing! Also the butter I made from the trim was 🔥🔥

Look at the stretch 💪🏽 all the changes happing at once, I got to admit I was not expecting to see flower sites develop so early in stretch considering i only spotted pistols a day after last dairy entry, two day after that flower sites everywhere. She is incredible. I scraped back mulch layer this morning and spotted some friends. First time I’ve seen them in a while I’ve added another net just cause I’m limited to space and I’m not sure when she will stop stretching, Water is now everyday solid a little knf now and then. Other than that very little work this week, possibly will be the case from here to harvest, Until next week let’s get it 💪🏽
