24 hrs of darkness begins. amber trichomes are hard to see under certain lights and through glasses, i dumped the glasses and moved each one to a different room and sure as shit "amber trichomes!". I just realized a jewelers lupe with a light works better without looking through reading glasses. 3 yrs of crap harvests and it aint over yet but if i get these dried at 60rh @ 70 deg F for 6-10 days APPPROX! CAREFUL FOR MOULD, and i got the 32 oz jars, belvidas and humidity guages for cure. as long as i can do that right, man things are really looking good. PRINCETON CAN USE A GUY LIKE JOEL! We'll see. I am starting another diary for the 2 gorilla glues that are growing really slow. I was going to dump them but i kept putting it off and slowly the buds started stacking up. I would love to know if this is common with all seed vendors and not just mine and why its happening like this. More important, I GREW BIG POTENT BUDS BY MYSELF!!!!!!! PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT THAT. It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Another week of rain storms! She was a trooper and stuck through all the wind and rain! Starting to see some good secondary growth from the LST. Shes bushing up so quicly, so i removed some more big fan leaves that were blocking some sunlight to the middle of the plant.

2/28: Amnesia has some yellowing of the leaves that appeared around about 12 hours before my usual every-3-day feedings and after I started to defoliating some of the previous yellow leaves from the previous accidental lack of water. I'm not sure if it is progressing, or it's just because I'm dialing in the watering schedule and she's using the nutrients in the extra, fatter, lower leaves. I've increased Amnesia's light distance to 16 inches and am lowering the humidity to stick between 60-70% RH with the automatic fan set to remove excess humidity near the higher end of that range. Fresh air fan blowing around the tent and into the 2 lower vents. Smells like a fresh garden outside of the tent, however smells green when the tent is opened. Not a strong green smell, but mildy recognizable. 3/1: Welp, it's worsened, and has shown itself in both plants now. Since they share the same environment and nutrients, I suspect this to be a nutrient issue. Trainwreck was known for potentially having excess Nitrogen as shown by the extremely bushy growth, dark green leaves, and downward curling leaf-tips. However, Trainwreck is now no longer exhibiting those symptoms, and has lightened up and is stretching. But! Trainwreck is showing signs of potassium deficiency, with brown spots appearing on upper leaves. The same goes for Amnesia, brown spots have migrated their way to upper leaves. I'm thinking a banana tea will be good for them, so I've got a couple large banana peels steeping in the pump sprayer for this evenings watering. My conclusions: 1. Nutrient burn hitting Amnesia hard, but Trainwreck is riding it out from its stored excesses. 2. Both are lacking some potassium now that they're beefing up in flowering stage. Edit: I've decided to add a quarter-strength nutrient to this banana tea so as to not completely flush out the remaining nutrients. I believe that would leave her starved in between her next feeding, in 3-4 days from now. 3/2: Welp! That made it worse! Time to test the PH of my soil. If the PH is too far in one direction or the other, certain nutrients will be locked out. I've ordered a PH meter instead of these PH testing drops. I didn't know that the difference between 6.0 and 6.5 would be so drastic, but with that said, I need to be more precise about my PH levels if I want to maximize these nutrients. Until the PH meter gets delivered tomorrow I may, if my research says that I should, flush with plain water ph'd water to try to flush out salts and try to get the PH back to 6.5 where it needs to be. Edit: I do not believe this to be overfeeding, as I would expect nutrient burn on the tips of all leaves, but there are colas that are completely unaffected by the recent feedings. However, if the PH is off, and I suspect it is, individual deficiencies will pop up and affect the leaves differently. The other plant, trainwreck, which was planted later, may have contained less Ocean Forest nutrients from the top of the bag, and also more Happy Frog; so it's riding out these issues just fine. 3/4: The discoloring on Amnesia has not spread to any other leaves. I've done a little bit of defoliating on the yellow and crispy leaves. Looks like they're already being replaced. I've got my ph meter now, and doing a slurry test came out 6.4 on the top inch of soil, the only soil I could get to without ripping up the roots. Either way, I'm doing to be certain to PH tonight's feeding (half strength) perfectly to 6.5, as opposed to trying my best using PH testing drops, which is almost impossible! Trainwreck is getting some spots on her leaves, so she'll be ready for her feeding tomorrow.

Day 43 - Checked PPM 870. Plant is 37 inches tall. Day 44 - Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of additives Bud Candy Sensizym Big Bud Nirvana and Rhino Skin. PPM is 1,250. Plant is 41 inches tall. Day 45 - Checked PPM 600. Plant is 42 inches tall. Day 46 - Checked PPM 635. Plant is 45 inches tall. Day 47 - Added 15 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 7 mL of the 5 additives. PPM is 1,590. Plant is 47 inches tall. Day 49 - Checked PPM 668. Plant is 50 inches tall.

Definetly an awesome Strain easy to grow with a phenomenal trichome production even the stamps are covered in trichomes 🤷🏻‍♂️💚🤙🏻🤙🏻❄️💯

8/29 Knowing I was going to have to yo to the hospital er again this morning with my wife I got up early and watered. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow but the bags were totally light. If I was going to be around I might've held off watering. Instead I watered everything one gallon and figured the rain will make up for the other 10 percent hopfully that will do it. 8/30 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. Flowers are swelling. I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves the other day. I still don't think I have anything fungal but I'm keeping an eye u e out and am considering doing an application of plant doctor. We are suppised to get an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow I guess. My biddy said i shouod cover my plants because next week is going to be "great growing weather" but with the rain and then the sun it could be a recipe for disaster since I have some large flowers. I got my father's leaf blower running but it was leaking gas. Brought it to the repair shop and a buddy let me borrow his for thus storm. I and hit the plants with it this morning. It is super strong though. I need to be careful not to blow it right out of the bag!!! Or break branches. Of course after u left it started raining lightly. A nice rain that plants like but it's stopped. I'm wondering if I should go over and blast them again to keep them dry but I know it's going to rain off and on and it'd going to rain tonight. I'll check the weather and decide from there. So far things are going good. Still have some yellowing leaves and a few normal pests but that is to be expected. UPDATE: Stopped raining so I went over and shook off the plants then put the leaf blower to them. I made sure to get the interiors before I went and had shook things again by hand. Storage us low bur i took a video. Cant upload toll tomorrow. Buds are growing at an insane rate but im losing some fan leaves that just yellow and die. Im sure its senescence but its still wortisome. We are supposed to have a real good week of growing weather coming so I hope that doesn't change. I'll update tomorrow. That leafblower works awesome though. 8/31 Went over to an extremely sunny windy morning. I didn't even need to shake plants or use the leaf blower since I did it after it Rained last night. I'm worried the wind night dry my bags out today so I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I defoliated a shit ton of leaves but apparently it's just senescence. I need to check the last time I fed. Trich development is going good. The smell was incredible this morning! Each strain has its own unique smell to it. We are supposed to have a real good week for growing so I'm looking forward to it. May do a preventative plant doctor app but I think it will be alright. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: Went over around one and plants were bone dry. The wind was RIDICULOUS! I added a few individual stakes and tied a couple loose branches. I got my tarp out and considered covering the cagecto protect from the wind. However I didn't have time to sanitize if and they had already been through it all night and day alwuth no breakages. Plants are strong and supported well. At least I hope. Plus the tarp would block the rest of the direct sun the plants are getting right now. The wind looked like it dud its worst and the trellis and supports held. I did add extra supports higher up the plant to prevent breakages. Found a moth larvae (yellow) and squished him. Also found some aphids but a few lady bugs and three lady bugs larvae so I think I'll be OK. I am really excited for this year. Flowers are really exploding! FORGOT TO PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. WATERED EVERYTHING TWO GALLONS EXCEPT THE 10. WHICH GOT ONE. 9/1 Forgot my phone on the daY I really needed it. It rained last night. The wind was the strongest i've seen in years. I would've tarped the cage but i couldn't find any of the bungee cords or zip ties. Probably good I didn't. No breaks. One plant had dark brown splotches ALL over the leaves! I picked them all off and took pictures and will consult my commercial buddy. I researched and asked a question on here. If it's septoria or something that could ruin my gorgeous garden I'd rather just junk the plant. It's big but it's the furthest behind flowering and I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of that for the others. This week is supposed to be the best week we've had all summer so I'm expecting major growth. I'll update after conferring with other growers and making a decision. Looking online it seems like it could just be lack of nutes with the co dictionary we've been having. It IS time to feed and I haven't been feeding much. We'll see what he says. UPDATE: AFTER RESEARCH AND CONSULTING WITH OTHER CONMERCIAL GROWERS I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A NUTRIENT DEFICIENCY. I READ THAT RAPID TEMP FLUCTUATIONS AND HIGH WINDS CAN EFFECT THINGS LIKE THIS. Super excited moving forward. Pistols are changing color on one 10th p phenome and retracting into buds. This is is the fun time. As long as I can avoid the rot. 9/2 Says it didn't rain last night but my plants are dripping wet. If course the leafblower kept dying so I had to shake everything by hand. Hope that's good enough. Gonna be real sunny. Bags still had some heft to them. I'll check them later. Found a few leaves with what looks like the calcium deficiency on the sane plant and I just removed them. I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back around 10 and everything looked good and was dry. Brought the leaf blower to be fixed. Should have it by the end of the day. Found and killed another pillar and some ants. Took a picture of a lady bug/beetle. This sunshine is making my buds explode!! I was thinking about checking again tonight but I think I can wait and water tomorrow. Bags are still fairly heavy. I did take another couple leaves off the plant that lopks like it might have a deficiency or something. The stalks are bigger than the bottom of a baseball bat. A couple almost like the fat end. Some 9f the best plants I've grown. I also took three short videos of a plant of each strain. Maybe if it's short it will upload quicker. Happy growing! UPDATE: I was back and forth today. I did some pruning and defoliation and then I noticed that my canary was light as hell. I waited until night and went back and had a couple starting to droop so i watered everything 2 gallons except the 10 and tub got 1. Everytime I see them it seems like they are bigger 9/3 Used the leaf blower this morning to get the dew off the buds. I shook them by hand before that. I'm noticing like a little army of lady bug larvae so any aphids I have are not going to be a problem. I have adults as well but is the babies that eat 10x what the adults do. I'm hoping they'll wipe put any bud worms. The weather is great this week all sunny. Making the buds explode in size and increasing terp production. This is the strongest smelling cannabis I've grown. Each strain. Has its own unique "funk" to it. Purple punch is really sweet and floral smelling. 10th planet is more gassy. I need to get some yellow sticky traps. I saw a couple fungus gnats on my canary. A late blooming blueberrycheese. It's the one that dries out the fastest but is more sativa leaning and drinks TONS of water. I have two that are that phenome. Losing yellow leaves but exploding with flowers. Noticed a couple more leaves with that calcium deficiency looking leaf. I just defoliated it. I'm really happy where I'm at right now. 9/4 Plants were covered in water this morning and the leaf blower wouldn't start. I shook everything off by hand. Each strain hasits own STRONG unique scent. One tenth planet phenome smells like bubble gum. I think I've got like two weeks and some of the flowers on ONE plant should be done. I'm planning to take the top half and then letting the bottom mature longer of its not whete I want it to be. The weather has been gorgeous. Sunny today. I'll need to water tonight I'm sure. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT 3PM AND PLANTS WERE DRY. WATERED EVERYTHING 2 GALLONS BIT THE 10 AND THE TUB. THEY GOT ONE. FLOWER DEVELOPMENT IS VISIBLE FROM MORNING TO NIGHT. I HAVE A TENTH PLANET THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE READY FOR HARVEST (AT LEAST THE TOPS) WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. PISTOLS ARE RETRACTING AND TURNING ORANGE ON THIS PHENOME AND RED ON THE OTHERS. I AM LOVING HOW THIS STRAIN LOOKS GROWING. I HAVE REAL HIGH HOPES FOR IT. I FAILED TOO MANY TIMES UPLOADING THE VIDEO AND PICTURES I TOOK SO ILL DO THAT TOMORROW. Hello friends Still good with this plant, For the moment no problem with her, easy grow, she like be touched, and fertilizer. This week I've start pk 13-14. She have a really nice smeel and lot of pollen, I think bud will be not really big, because short vege, next time I'll put more plant. All continue to be good, I hope harvest for end of this month or start December. Next week I'll start to publish pic of trychromes. 37 flowerin day - bumps become heavy, set up branch supports

Fat Banana doubles in size this week and starts to develop some true leaves. Taken out of the humidity dome & moved a lot closer to the CFL now, roughly 4-5 inches. Roots looking healthy and developing nicely, will be transplanting in the coming week to a slightly larger pot when I'll also introduce some 1/4 strength veg nutes.

Day 48 of flower and day 77 total. Started giving her some Kool Bloom nutes and she's taking it well. Buds have some good looking structure and is packing on weight. I'm going to tie them up for the last few weeks. Looking forward to the finish line!

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

Tart Pops is powering through week 4 of veg looking strong and vibrant! ✅ I gave her a clean FIM job this week to encourage some lateral growth and bushier structure. She's bounced back well and is showing no signs of stress — nice, tight internodes and solid color throughout. Started preventive IPM routine after spotting spider mites on the Blue Cheese in flower. Spraying Neudosan and Bioneem every few days as a protective measure — so far, Tart Pops is unaffected and looking mint 🍃. The soil’s holding moisture well with good drainage thanks to the perlite mix, and the airflow and spacing are keeping the lower growth healthy too. This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.
