Week 10 for Kalini Asia by Zamnesia seeds, Shes now fully bounced back from her last training and shes filling out really nicely. Now just have to toughen up her branches and keep her nice and flat. Being watered once a week atm.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. W3D1 - I literally dont do a thing other than check pH and ppm. Lotus nutrients have been the cleanest nutrients I have used so far, the water is clean, roots look great and the plants are exploding with growth. I don’t think I need to cycle the reservoir water anytime soon but I’ll be switching the water out next week. 6/13/20 - did some light defoliation this week, disconnected the reservoir in preparation of the water swap and layout change, Also added the tent lining back in order to better control the environment. Snapped a small branch on one of the plants during LST but luckily is was a lower node growth and not the main top! I’m pretty sure i might have slightly stunted this one but its still growing pretty healthy. I am trying to keep better track of this grow, i started this grow during le quarantine and was called back to work so the work/life schedule has changed all up...

This is exactly the 🇲🇦 morroccan 🇲🇦 way of sifting resin from kief. Traditionally, apart the hand rubbing method, dry sifting through a mesh is the most used way to obtain resin, from 🇦🇫 Afghanistan 🇦🇫 or 🇳🇵Nepalese 🇳🇵 Mountains to 🇲🇦 Morocc 🇲🇦 Rif passing through Bekaa valley in 🇱🇧Lebanon 🇱🇧. The average size of meshes used vary from 90 to 180 microns and are mostly made by silk and for this reason uneven. I think the most productive ways to sift are Dry Ice and  rotating pollinator + CO2, I've tried a DIY pollinator built by a friend and it can reach up to 20/25% of resin extracted at 120 microns and 15% at 90 microns. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. It requires less than 10 dollar of expenses. You need: a basin or pot  without handles a heavy-duty plastic bag that contains the basin a pair of chopsticks a good 120 microns net an elastic band tape Kif or trim q.s. Things are moving along as they should. I've been keeping a closer eye on the pH in the trays themselves (as opposed to in the reservoir only) due to some noticeably high pH (>7) in the trays. Doing so seems to have halted any further chlorosis (yellowing of leaves). Additionally, I've started supplementing with Orca as well to help with controlling algae in the reservoir as well as giving the plants a bit of a boost to root health. We'll see how that goes.
