The Apple Betty babies have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. This was my 1st week with my new 2x2. The brand new elufah uap-1500. This light has a much better spec than my spider farmer light did. One of the plants took a little bit of stress from the spec changing but they are bouncing back. By the end of the week I should be ramping the light back up. They are some fastbuds plants so I’m sure they will love extra light.

All the buds on plant 1 seemed to have doubled in size this week. She's also starting to get a very sweet citrusy smell. I'm loving how sticky and smelly everything is, especially after trimming.

So on 12/14/21 opened tent to find leaves trying to get away from light, TS 3000 is a powerful light, at 24 inches from top of plants at 25% power it caused leaf folding. Adjusted light to 36 inches and dimmed light to 20%. Leaves are turning a darker shade of green and started praying again. Lesson learned know your light or get a watt meter cause 25% was close to 120 watts of LED. 12/15/21watered plants 100ml of water, except one which was still moist. Noticed green coming back strong now the lights at the right height.12/17/21 Plants fully recovered from my light. Looking vibrant green again.12/18/21 Nutrients fed. 12/19/21 plants are growing vigorously now that the conditions are right on.

Something wrong happened on the end of last week. I had a little irrigation problem and I did a m mistake with the fan’s position, it was too direct on the roots. I think this could have caused a block to the nutrients transmission. I will give just water with regulator ed enzym+. Let’ a see

This has been a dream to grow the only reason I marked it as neutral and not easy because of it being such a flowery bub.So you just had to keep an eye on the humidity apart from that she stood up to everything even when I was starving her from Calmag 😂🤷 Can't wait to be back with the smoke report

Here we are ready for the right harvest on the last day of the contest. I am very satisfied with these plants, they are over half an ounce per plant but it can even reach 70-80 in my opinion. Wet cut is scary. Beautiful strain with different phenotypes, the two tall girls are already in the dry room, these two are pure fire. Big effort during the harvest but a lot of grass. The resin you'll notice is there as well and we can't wait to taste it. Day 35 Flowering: Hi Growmies, hope we are all well and in the green. The Exotic ladies have been displaying their skills this week and fan dancing to this beautiful set of buds now filling the spaces. The smell from them is definitely identified as mango now too. #1 is fattening out her buds all the way to below the canopy tops too. She isnt the biggest in height but is pushing out some very nice thick buds sets #2 is the biggest of the 4 Mango cream with a chunky nice looking mainstem that I tried to avoid forming. She had other ideas I think. The side growth is just as impressive too with fat colas forming nicely #3 is the odd one of the bunch. She is between the two lights and lifted higher than the other 2 the same age but smaller in general. she looks way more mature than the other plants too which is odd. Her colours are really showing through like finished buds tend to look pre chop. She smells so strong of mango too. still with at least 4 weeks to go it will be interesting to see how she matures further.. #4 is at day 28 flowering and has pellets as her feednin the medium. She looks a little rough and nowhere near as healthy as her sisters do. signs of mg deficiency are heavy too and I am using the bloom element that is with the pellets now too. I thinknthe pellets have finished being of use now and might have to get her in mx after all. Her buds look OK but need some powering now from the greenery stores. All in all things are going well with these ladies and I can only imagine how good they will harvest now. Be safe growmies ***UPDATE DAY 39 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT*** A major development in the ripening of one of the mango cream girls. #3 has reached full maturity!!!! I thought she was developing very nice colours and a texture similar to harvested wedding cake strains I have done. as she was still really early in flower and in a small pot , I assumed it was something to do with this that had accelerated her a little in some way. Seeing her trichromes under the scope and seeing amber ones today has me convinced she is done already at 39 days in flower only. Wow thats a fast flowering for a plant of this size too. I have not seen any do this before except a barneys farm Blue gelato that hermied at week 3 flower with perfect seed pods and very mature flowers lowndown . i am leaving her a few days more to see exactly what she does but will keep you posted. Happy days.

9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

During VII week: 1 ecrased amount of water to 400 ml per day - autowarering system open flow 3 times a day for totally 400 ml/day 2 during DAy 48 i defoliated some fan leaves and added 1 35w led on top on ayahuasca purple #1 canopy —— During this week: 1 Start lollipop 2 Added potassium silicate (rhino skin) 3 Removed B vitamin complex (b52) for a lighten nut. Solution 4 Added phitobscillus (vodoo juice) — Soon I will see sprouts come up to net, when canopy will be 50-60 cm I finish lollipop under net and then start flipping, i’m Planning that for 10th week of veg. _ Update Day 50: some sprouts are over the net day 51 : added 2 oscillating fan - Secret Jardin 20watt - 1 turned on with light, 1 tuned on h24

This strain has been easy to grow from the start and very quickly packed the weight on during flower, for a free seed I'm more than happy with the outcome, if you're gonna grow it give it a good 13 to 14 weeks It's quite an uplifting smoke a nice head stone
