🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

6/1 super long internodal spacing. If giving the chance shed grow straight up through the roof. Even after training she still stretches and stretches. Topped her in a couple spots 6/2 Shes super happy today. The day after she was fed. I really need to top those long mains that are stretching so much. 6/6 she was thirsty today. People keep thinking im over watering but really the droopy plant pictures are from underwatering just to clarify. Fed her some slf-100 and recharge today as a tea day. Goal is to feed feed, tea, feed feed, flush

8th Week Report 05/12/19 - 12/12/19 In photos CMXL is on the left and LSD on the right 05/12/19 Didn't changed reservoir as is more or less half capacity full. I plan to change it on the beginning of the next week(12/12/19). 09/12/19 Added a small and cheap diy dehumidifier kit built with a Peltier module (search on Amazon Peltier dehumidifier) 10/12/19 CMXL got a light defoliation where I removed bigger fan leaves covering lower bud sites 11/12/19 Even if they look healthy I added a small Humidity and Temperature sensor to be sure humidity doesn't get too high and let the mold form. However you will get an average humidity level the next week after some tests/readings. 12/12/19 I plan to change reservoir solution and increase its strength to 90% tonight, but diary will be updated with new values with the next week ;) For tomorrow (13/12/12) is also planned a stronger defoliation to CMXL before she gets in full flower, I hope it helps to achieve a better light penetration into the canopy and also it could give an extra stretch to the plant since I noticed that even after a small defoliation she stretches a little faster for a while. As you can see from photos/videos LSD is just doing good and probably she won't need extra training. Her sugar leaves are getting frosty as ice ;) Last Update 12/12/19 See you guys ;)

My Strawberry Gorilla Automatic from Fast Buds is now in its third week of flowering, and I couldn’t be happier with how she’s progressing. She looks incredibly healthy, with vibrant green leaves and strong branches. The stretch phase is nearly over, and she has developed a solid structure with a well-defined main cola.🌱 One of the most exciting changes this week is the first appearance of trichomes on the main bud. Under the light, they’re starting to sparkle, hinting at the resin production that’s about to take off. The buds are forming nicely, and I can already smell a faint but promising aroma developing. So far, she’s responding well to the nutrients and environment, with no signs of deficiencies or stress. If she keeps going at this pace, she’s going to be a real beast by harvest time.😊

Slowly but surely she is fattening up and is turning yellow with splashes of red/pink, leds were a little too low or hps at the beginning of flowering damaged her fan leafs... Next time I will know better which is the cause. Smallish buds but those are coated with trichomes, sugar leafs too. Going to make some cannabutter! I think 1 or 2 more weeks before harvest depending how she looks, I want her Calyxes to mature fully before chopping her!

* ************** Week 5 - May 9 to 15, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination **************** * Nice growth week. Notice some brown spotting early in week. I felt that I could get the pH in line with feeding at 5.0 last week but it didn’t work. Flushed her early on as the pH was over 7.0 when testing the run off. On Sunday she was given a 43L flush to bring her down from the 7.2 she was found to be at. After the 43L she came down to 220ppm and 6.3pH. Going in was 60ppm and 4.4pH, used bottled water. Environment being kept over 60% has been a struggle some days but its coming. Still dialing in some of the light intensity this week by raising and lowering. One of the downsides to multiple strains in one environment but its good👌 Little more detail....... May 9/20 - Day 29 - 2L feed - CalMag, Piranha, VooDoo, Rezin, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Massive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L - 1000ppm and 5.1pH going in. - Runoff numbers 530ppm and 7.2pH....too high - She was falling asleep a little early so I decreased the light intensity. - She is showing some signs of brown spotting - Tight node spacing.....see how stretch goes. May 10/20 - Day 30 - need some run off numbers as things are funky. - Flushing hard today - 43L flush going in over roughly half hour. 60ppm and 4.0pH - run off numbers were 220ppm and 6.3pH. - back in line.....keep the feeds light. May 11/20 - Day 31 - 1.5L feed - VeloKelp, Rezin, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 900ppm and 4.3pH - She is falling asleep too soon. Roughly 2 hours early - Root mass still a little small and she cant take the nutrients quick enough?? May 12/20 - Day 32 - dry out day - let her be......as they say😀 May 13/20 - Day 33 - she likes it dry so.....give her another👊 - again.....let her be right now and let her grow May 14/20 - Day 34 - 4L feed - Rhino, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Massive @ 3ml = 1075ppm and 5.3pH - run off numbers 575ppm and 6.6pH. - feel she is a little thick down low. Removed leaves in closer to main stem. - she is close to LST for the side branching. May 15/20 - Day 35 - dry out day - she has definitely started flower this week. - she is happy but not 100% tips up......keep working on the environment. Week 5 wrapped and on to week 6 now. She is one of the large girls in the grow and doing well. Big leaves and taking the nutrients well!!

Iniziamo col top bloom e finiamo col top veg, i fiori iniziano ad essere tali finalmente 😍 Sono riuscito a tenerle basse, pensavo di avere problemi sotto la rete con le due davanti visti i quasi 10 cm d'altezza di differenza rispetto alle altre due, invece riesco a defogliarle bene, non ci sono foglie secche o segni di muffa e la luce e l'aria circolano bene 👍🏼💪🏼

Una ves sean transplantadas a su macetero definitivo(5 litros) se comenzará con riego automático, drip to waste, y protocolo Crop Steering. 20 Octubre(15:30): 9 semillas en remojo, solución de 2 partes de agua de ósmosis + 1 parte de peróxido de hidrógeno 3%, 5.8pH, 0.6EC, 28°C~30°C. Antes ser puestas a remojar se lijaron las semillas para favorecer la absorción del agua. 21:30: puestas en toalla de papel con la misma agua de remojo, dentro de un contenedor de vidrio hermético y sobre una alfombra de calor a 28°C~30°C, para aumentar la actividad metabólica. 21 Octubre: Pre carga del coco, con solución de nutrientes Athena en 2.0EC y 5.7pH, saturación hasta lograr drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.5EC y 5.6pH. 21:50: Todas las semillas presentan radicula de distintos tamaños(1cm aprox) son inmediatamente pasadas al sustrato. 22 Octubre: 21:10, se aprecian todas ya brotando, se mantiene el ambiente en 26°C~28°C y 70%+ de humedad. 23 Octubre: 9/9 semillas brotadas, se ven algunos Cotiledones. 24 Octubre: (9:30)8/9 cotiledones abiertos, altura entre 3cm~5cm, etapa de plantula iniciada. Toffee n3 se atrofió por mala manipulación, espero que crezca aunque sea lento, si no, tendré que seguir solo con 8 plantas. 25 Octubre: Toffee n3 está viva!!! Estuve a punto de quitarla, y está mañana apareció sin su capucha, cotiledones afuera. Yujuuuu!! 26 Octubre: hoy tuvieron su primer riego con nutrientes Athena, 2.0EC y 5.8pH. Se regó hasta alcanzar drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.9EC y 5.7pH. 27 Octubre: Se desarrollan a buen ritmo, algunas han estirado más que otras, alturas entre 4cm~7cm. 31 Octubre: Segundo riego, 120ml casa una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff de 2.3EC y 5.7pH. 2 Noviembre: Creciendo a buen ritmo, alturas entre 5cm y 9cm. 4 Noviembre: Riego 180ml cada una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC y 5.8pH, desde ahora se regarán más seguido, removí las primeras hojas, solo por comodidad para regar, de igual manera los primeros nodos y esas hojas se terminan podando pronto. 8 Noviembre: Riego 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml cada una para aumentar el runoff, valores de runoff de 3.0EC y 6.0pH. Alturas entre 9cm y 14cm.

Outcome was alright since i had a mite infestation for so long, still happy of what i got out of the plants! will update on dry weight and taste etc. Also that was the first time in grew with “decent” equipment, since i don’t have alot of money to spend i got these quantum boards off alibaba & i’m pretty impressed off what they are able to do!

Arrancamos un nuevo proyecto, esta hermosa sativa The Ethiopian de @TERPYZ Semillas regulares, genética landrace pura de Etiopía, grande, gran poder sativa, larga floración y resistente a clima húmedo y cálido. La marca recomienda sembrar directamente al sustrato, aquí, en suelo vivo funcionó perfectamente. 4 de 4 germinadas. Los brotes tardaron 3 a 4 días en aparecer entre el húmedo ambiente inicial. Se mantendrán en el tupper hasta que se vea estabilidad y tamaño apto Saludos a todos y éxitos, este proyecto viene cargado de una gran aventura
