Backing off the feeds a little now that they are coming into the final weeks of flower. Did a good bit of defoliating this week to help get airflow to the lower areas. Happy with the bud growth they are really starting to fatten up now. Onto week 8! 😬✌️

These are actually doing really well it's a weird feeling growing something you created with the prospect that it could actually be some pretty solid quality. Aight so the other day I found another hermie in the very early stages. So I emptied the tent and sat in there in the pitch black for 15 minutes to let my eyes adjust looking for anywhere light could get in. Because I have 2 veg tents in the same room on 19 hr schedules it's impossible for me to have the room the tent is in be pitch black. There was no leaks in the fabric but the air vents at the bottom, even tho I only have 3 open a little bit, let in the slightest amount of light. I had to toss out a mandarin cookies R1V2, a bwiz x Rocberry and a gushers. I found a male flower on a Hawaiian snow x wc x g33 on a lower but instead of tossing it I removed all the lowers and am going to check daily to see if its aight or not. I ordered a ac infinity 4 inch fan, some light proof ducting and a intake carbon filter to be able to set up a intake and close the vents. Very little pollen may have dropped which could seed everything but I might have found it just in time we will see. I almost retired on the spot but I'll give the intake fan a shot as a last ditch effort. Otherwise I would have to remove the veg tents or have intake fans and no open vents for all tents. 6 weeks old C/Mass clone mum we took about 5 cuttings from her so she's going to be fat already she has lots of branches growing off her short internode spacing so tight bud formation. As you can see we have opened her up without damaging her so no recovery or time wasted. We have pulled down all the main branches with soil clamps (fantastic) Its like a rib cage pull down and secure branches then all the small what would have been not much will now become much, much more. she has 3 weeks now to transform into a tree. The 3 girl scout cookies are the little supporters put in the 3 corners their autos from weed seed express{big up dem} for the freebies, the other 3 are for different projects. so here we are.. I know now not to overwater dem because my self contained unit contains the moisture hence da reader always in the soil to give me the correct reading. ph, ppm, and temp simple get a reader😇😇

Yall see the yellowing of the leaves closest to the top? I've since switched my nutes over to Tiger Bloom and I've thrown in some Cal-mag into the mix. They'd gotten kinda droopy but since I changed their nutes up a bit, they've been perky af even tonight as it's getting close to lights out. I switched them over to flower on Sunday. They're already starting to stretch in just a few days which tells me that they're feeling much better. My last video... even though it's not loaded correctly is from tonight. It's 11pm, lights are out in an hour and they're still perky. Love it!! 😍😍😍 4/6/23: Yall.... the plant in the back right hermied!!! OMFG. The 2 tallest branches had seeds on them... just popped up because they weren't there yesterday or at least I didn't notice. The seeds were concentrated at the top, I didn't find any on the rest of the plant but with as bushy as they are, there may be more. I cut those 2 tallest branches down to below where the seeds were but I will be watching that plant and the rest like a hawk for more seeds. I didn't find any on the other 3 plants but still I'm saddened. Unsure of why this one plant is hermie'ing. Smh

Day 8 Flower (Day 50) The first day of the second week of flower and the strech is real. The right girl is getting pretty damn big and keeps on drinking a lot. I gave her another 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today. On the other hand, the left girl drinks hardly anything, so I didn't need to water her. I also did some lollipopping today and got rid of a whole bunch of undergrowth. I saved some clones off the big girl but no clue what to do with them. We'll see what happens. Day 9 Flower (Day 51) Chill day today. All I did was to give each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and snap a few pics. Day 10 Flower (Day 52) Today I finally got around to re-organize the small tent to move the light as high up as possible to give the canopy some additional space. I moved the exhaust fan to outside the tent, so it was out of the way for the light, and then put the circulation fan below the canopy, blowing upward. Finally, I adjusted the light so it was reading about 900 PPFD in the center of the canopy. The left girl didn't need any water today, but the right girl got 3 liters of pH 6.2 water. Day 11 Flower (Day 53) They're back! The fungus gnats are back in the tent, although I'm not surprised, and let me tell you why. When the light for my tomatoes and peppers broke down, I had to move them so that they get some daylight. It is still cold here (the coldest May around these parts ever, I think), so they have to stay inside even though they usually would have moved outside long ago. The best place to keep them in my apartment is by the window in the same room as my grow tents. The last time I had gnats, I only had enough nematodes to treat my girls, but I didn't do the rest of the apartment even though I should have. So currently, my peppers and tomatoes all have a ton of gnats. Put plants with gnats in the same room as your grow, and it is only a matter of time before the gnats find their way into the tents. So yeah, it wasn't a surprise at all when I noticed the gnats in my tents some days ago. I put up some yellow sticky traps to deal with the adults and ordered more nematodes, enough to treat my girls, plus all other plants in my entire apartment. Twice. The nematodes arrived today, and I mixed up 10 million of them into 6 liters of water and gave each girl half at pH 6.5. That was it for today. Day 12 Flower (Day 54) Exhausting day today. I opened the tents, took pics, closed the tents. Phew! I think I need to lay down for a bit. Day 13 Flower (Day 55) Late last night I decided to supercrop the right girl to slow her down and get the canopy to even out. We're almost at the end of the second week of flower so this is the last training I will do besides some defoliation later on. I think I cropped around 10 branches or so. Today, most of the branches were already standing up again and she was VERY thirsty so I gave her 4.5 liters of pH 6.4 water. The left girl on the other hand didn't need any water. Day 14 Flower (Day 56) The last day of the second week of flower and the right girl is in flower. Early yet so still small and no smell, but they are there. The left girl is in flower as well but isn't as far along, but that isn't unexpected considering the different lights. The left girl is 68 cm tall (18 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 100 cm tall (23 cm increase in a week) but would have been even taller without super-cropping. I gave each girl three liters of pH 6.3 water and removed the tape from the right girl's broken branch. She looks fully healed, so I removed the supports as well, and she was looking great. However, thinking about it for a second, I put back one of the supports, just in case.

Let up all but a couple ties on each plant, definitely the mains are let off. Just kept a couple for airflow that will be unpinned eventually. Topped and supercropped a few taller branches to make the canopy even. Finished taking out the larf at the bottom, adjusted the lights brighter. Topdressed them with Build-A-Flower. Week 9 the girls really started putting that fade on and bringing out the beautiful colors you see I love this time of the grow nearing the end and we get to see the transformation of these amazing plants

I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Today marks day 47. I ended up talking to The Green Sunshine Co. They agreed with me and thought I should top dress early, before the 30 day mark. I just did so yesterday, day 46. I think I have one photo from that day of the top dress. Anyway, I am concerned about the yellowing. She's way to early for that to happen in flower naturally. Hopefully the feeding takes care of it.
