Day 63 — All progressing well. The Sensi bloom fertilizer has fixed all issues and the buds are really coming on now. I still have no explanation why one LB is tall and lanky and the other is stocky and thick. Only difference was I topped them a week apart. I switched to 12/12 schedule today. Read somewhere that resin production increases on that schedule. I am also just running bloom lighting for the past week. Seems to benefit them so will continue. I figure another 2-3 weeks and it will be time to harvest. Cheers!

And ended up removing a big chunk of her that she was pushing out. (removed her next set above the one on day 35) and topped all nodes then to compensate. So topped 8 times × the main top. Noticed a very light fade in-between the vains, showing a very light mag def. Sprayed with a Epsom Salt Foliar spray 200ppm and dosed her with a 250ppm feed 6.6ph for both. All in all. I'm very happy with how this wk went. Still a few days to go in this week. Growth has been rapid. Doesn't look like it. But, she was much further ahead. I've redid her whole process 3x now. And, each time. It's set her back. 2-3 weeks in this shape with solid LST and she'll be fine. She's going under my SE5000 now with co2. All my 3x3 will be covered. Just waiting on my lux Uni-T meter. (To make my own ppfd map as the lux meter comes with an app that converts your lights lux spectrum into ppfd. You can set your area size. And find which ppfd is in what area of your tent by doing grids tests, software is still in development phase, but looks very promising. Has a 97% match to the apogee brands, they're the ppfd meter you see on all major light markers, and growers that have 700e to spare) Back to this girl. She is a great grower, as I said. Look back at week 4. She could of easily been flipped and made for a mid sized indica. I'm going a different route. And having fun shaping and making an even canopy. She has thin fingered leaves. So, not a bad indica to do a scrog with. But, I think I'll settle for 2 more weeks of growth and good LST and I'll put her to the flip. Thanks for viewing these 2 weeks. ***added dry weight with scale pics*** *******WET WEIGHT UPDATE********** weighed after 2 days of drying does not include 370g of sugar leaf/popcorn bud This leg of my growing adventure is coming to a close, all plants have been harvested. Trimming took approxiatley 16 hours, for the haul not too bad. only used a pair of 2" curved shears, only pair I've used and first trim I've done but my hand never got tired. The smell on the other hand was overwhelming, after a while had to open a window due to getting a bit light headed. While a little awkward at first really got the hang of it around hour 10, only to get sloppier leading up to hour 16, where more added to the trim and popcorn bud racks. 1 rack is 2'x4' and the other is 3'x5', lots of trim but so many popcorn buds. Didn’t do any wet weighing of the bud, due to the amount and limited time allowed to cut and trim weighing would have taken much too long. I’ll give a dry weight once the bud is ready to separate and jar up for the cure.8042000000

19/05/2021 la mattina dopo aver lollipoppato ho trovato le teste delle apicali tutte a curvate verso giù credo sia dovuto allo stress..... oggi andrò a visionare se si sono riprese dal stress dubito proverò a risolvere l overfert alzando tutta la lampada in cima al box(poca luce=poco mangiare) per 4 giorni.... e cercherò di guardare un po le radici delle baby perchè ho il sospetto che l overfert si un conseguenza di troppa irrigazione d acqua.... se cosi non fosse credo che laverò il terreno tutte le mie bimbe sperando iniziano a schiarirsi un po dal quel verde scuro altrimenti niente fioritura.... restate connessi 21/05/2021 ho alzato la lampada a 90cm per farle riprendere dal forte stress lo tenuta cosi per 48 ore... andrò il 24 a vedere cosa e successo...

Week 3 of flower, can see already some nice bud production. Terpenes are building up and making the room stink, has a dark berry chocolatety gassy og smell to it, just how I remember choc mint. The bud structure isn't exactly what I was hoping for but cant complain! Was a free seed sent to me after months of searching for the strain at a time before the v2 was a thing. Buds will be going through the trim bag at harvest so will probs give them more a uniform look to them.

1st week of grow, wonder how long i will let them veg before switch to bloom. Didnt precise that seeds from this part of the box are not feminized, I’ll maybe lose some of them during stretch. Strengh and pleasure to all during this worldwide weird period 🌱💪🏼

The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

wow! this girl also took the fish shit i gave her last week and turned it into huge buds! I am going to do this every year from now onwards. No visible PWM either, just like the others. Will go out to the pot patch mid week after this leftover weather from hurricane Fiona clears to see how they fared in the high humidity and low temps.

Here we are now, 7 days from seed and looking good. Just been giving water and I did a top dress of earthworm casting and organic fertilizer with mulch over the top. Weather is good for the next while, hoping to get some good growth this next couple weeks

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.
