Water week 6/1

Plant stayed small, but buds were full and dense. Structure was nice, although it could not take much LST.

We are true fans of what we do. We call ourselves growers with dignity. Back in 2023, we kept growing indoors even when there was no electricity for months and power was only available for a few hours a day. We used generators, and when they broke down during winter, so our beauties wouldn’t freeze, we heated water over open fires, filled plastic bottles with it, and used them to keep the temperature stable until we could repair the old generator or buy a new one. We did all of this within just a few hours, over and over again. But what happened this year, just one day ago, was something truly horrifying. I posted the video here showing how it happened and how lucky I was to survive. We are not giving up, and we are trying to stay strong even though it is incredibly hard. Even now, after everything that happened, we are still trying to save the plants. They were ripped out by the roots and wilted badly, but they are photoperiod plants, and we still hope they can recover. I uploaded the video of what happened — you can watch it in the diary. 🌞 The week started with moderate (25°C) summer temperatures 🌡️🌡️🌡️ But the day before yesterday and yesterday we had hot (+25°C) temperatures again 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Fourth week of Light Deprivation 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 9:00 am I move the plants to the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 9:00 pm I move the plants (together with some other strains) inside the growroom (which I don't use in the summer) ➡️ The buds are filling up, more and more trichomes, and every day they start to smell stronger 👃👃👃 👉Once this week I boost the plants with gift of water enriched with OPF 7:2:3 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract ⭐Big Thanks to Luc from Plant Health Solutions / Bioplantenvoeding dot nl ⭐ Plant #1 ; height : 154 cm Plant #2 ; height : 138 cm Plant #3 ; height : 136 cm

Buds are stacking fast, becoming dense and well-formed, with plants growing into large, structured bushes. Trichome production is ramping up, and the aroma is starting to develop clearly.

This girl is also unbelievable at 30 inches she is grand. The growth has been amazing again. She is looking great. I have added 1000 watt Hps for supplemental light. 4 and a 1/2 hrs of extra light. I have split that into 2 and a 1/2 hours in the evening and 2 hours in the morning. I think that puts me somewhere in the area of 16 to 17 hours of light.

Week 5! GG4 finished week 4 on a rough note, she drooped hard overnight from 07/15 into 07/16, I'll will feed her an extra 1 liter of water + nutes this week, to prevent this from happening again. Aside from the early drying out, bud sites continue to develop nicely and she's got a good smell to her now as well as stickyness starting to appear.

Day 78- Flowering day 26- These OG girls are gettin thirstier by the day, I had to feed them yesterday because the soil is starting to dry out every 2-3 days now. I gave them what I've been giving them normally, about 1.5L for the big OG girls and about 1L for the small seed producer. I also put the clone in the back bathroom and tried my hand at pollinating it, we'll see how that turns out and I'll definitely wait to put this one back in the flowering tent because I'm not sure if the pollen was fully thawed but I got a lot of it on the pistils so I don't want to take any chances. I fed the BD about 2L of nutrient solution and she's only showing a very slight sign of overwatering but I'm sure she'll be recovered by the end of the day. All the plants in the tent have stopped stretching, I'm gonna have to remember how to train future plants like OG 1 because those buds are lookin absolutely fantastic. I made a mistake with OG 2 and didn't train it exactly the same so it stretched a bit too much and I doubt it's gonna yield as much as OG 1. Day 81- Flowering day 29- Well I think I’ve figured out what’s going on with OG 2 but we’ll see if I’m right. I think, aside from the heat stress it was under, there may be a slight nitrogen toxicity. OG 1 and BD have sucked up everything I’ve thrown at em without complaint but OG 2 still has some curled up leaves even though a lot of them have gotten better. I think it’s nitrogen toxicity because the leaf tips on my Green Crack just started curling downward and I know its not heat stress. The only thing that makes sense is too much nitrogen because I have been using more cal/mag than usual so today I just watered all the plants with molasses water and I’ll keep checking in on them. Also had to tie up some of the branches on OG 2, I’ve definitely gotta make sure to train plants in the future to not stretch so much cap that the branches will grow thicker and stronger.

Day 36. New round of training, girls started to strech, so i can form them and by "them" - i mean Gorillas ;))) Cookies are sad song, in control garden Strawberry Cough is out, so i keep my dirty mouth shut till results will come up. Hope best to come, my 8 week veg plan extented to 9 at least ... Plan to feed them Silica Acid and CalMag next round, so increased numbers of nutes will be used only next week, need to do pure water runs aswel ;) One lovely thing - half of Bunny Gorilla gives 3 shots from one nod, other half grows normaly, lovely mutation. Day 38. Yesterday girls got water with CalMag, so they started to look better, deficencies where showing up on all plants, so had to feed them up a bit. Cookies long way to healthyness, but at last two off them started to grow. So next water will be with silica acid. Tomorrow should do some heavy lst, girls started to strech, can lower them again ,think it will be last mass lowering, next i will try to form as many tops from all that mass on Gorilla side and i really put many work to make Cookies look better. Control garden is ok, all 4 beans showed up. Think to veg them for 2-3 weeks only, but my main target was to see will last Cookie show unhealthy grow in new run compaired to other strains or i should blame too ritch worm casting, cant find any other reason for so many grow issues. Think any other gardener would chuck that crap and started new grow, but two cookies woke up, maybe two others will at least heal up by switch time... Lets see... Day 39. Heavy LST , HST , defoliation and new position, think they will stay that way till the end. Some girls get theirs form, Bunny Gorilla looks amazing, plan to veg them 3 more weeks from today, so day 55 they will get darkness and light rythm will change.

Ladies and gentlemen today is day 80 and as you can see, we still have a ways to go.. As always I'd like to thank Zamnesia Seeds and Plagron for putting this contest together 💚 .. as you guys can see, this girl has got some size to her especially for being in a smaller pot .. she is a little low on nitrogen but I don't think she has more than 3 weeks left so i'm kind of torn as to whether or not I should hit her with some .. i think next feeding, I'll give her a little nitrogen, and then that'll be it. Aside from another feeding or two of green sensation, then we flush .. i hope everybody's doing well and so are there ladies 🙏 .. god bless everybody and happy growin ✌️

Hey now! This week went pretty well, I did notice my EC of my runoff was getting pretty high on day 65, it got up to about 1.9, and my nutrient solution going in was at 1.6. I ended up mixing a bucket of my normal fertilizer, and hand watering all the places my drip ring wasn't really hitting, and i got the EC back down to about 1.7. I also got a tip from MrJones to setup some type of support for the colas. I ended up tying some 550 (parachute) cord across the top of my tent poles, then I ties little loops around the colas with the same soft cord. I then used wire ties to attach the loops to the 550 cord. I also am slowly reducing my EC, as I believe I only have a couple weeks left. I am also going to be switching from Liquid KoolBloom to Dry KoolBloom at some point later in week 10. If anyone has any experience on the correct timing of this switch to ripening formula, please hit me up! I am still struggling a bit with heat and humidity, and am considering buying another dehumidifier for my next grow. As always, Thank you to everyone for all of your encouragement, support and tips!!
