Excited and impatient, starting to come on really well now, everything is going ok as it has been all the way through other than a little struggle with keeping the heat down in the grow tent during the first few weeks in veg, bigger tent and all is ok now, small signs of nutrient burn of a feed this week but don't think anything to be worried about from other diaries i have seen. What do you think its going like so far? December 8 2018 day 73 from seed light burn but still going good

Did some heavy feeding the past few days now getting reading to flush soon, end of week 6 last feeding now flushing for the final weeks.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Guava Sundae – Week 3 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) ☀️ The weather this week has been absolutely perfect, so she’s been spending almost all her time outdoors. She really seems to thrive in the fresh air and sunlight. It got a bit windy though, so I added some extra soil around the base to stabilize her. She’s now sitting at about 5 cm tall with a beautiful, deep green color. No complaints at all, looks super healthy and strong.

I want to thank you Paul @New420GuySeeds for this beautiful plant. She's getting close to that time. I'm both excited and a little sad cuz we've done this grow together. Kinda a fucked up reality. Critical 47 has a few lower branches that are starting to drop due to the weight of the bud. I been curious if I could lop off some these baby branches at this stage without consequences.? Anybody know? Maybe sample the bud before the harvest.. would be nice. Ive been doing my best at snapshots of trichomes so I may get a better ETA of the due date. This will be my first ever to harvest anything more than a common cherry tomato. Lol. Any useful advice is welcome, start a chat if ya wanna!! I love company! And hey we already have a shared common interest! Gotta start somewhere. So critical 47 is sticky and smells up the whole house, no deficiencies noticed, growth has stopped as far as I can tell, yet she is still feeding without waste. I changed my regular fertilizer from the fox farm to Dr JimZ. With good results. The fox farm is a great fertilizer as well. I do mix the chicken soup for the soil with the fox farm trio. Cha Ching beastie blooms and open sesame. Dr. JimZ Bloom Kaboom is a once a month application for flowering plants. Good stuff. If I were to grow her again I would, an I would definitely put her in a larger container without the burlap sack. Don't use that crap it's no good. Lol. It's created a protective base under the soil for pests to dwell. I'm sure when I pull it all up there's gonna be a super complexed colony of mighty gnats, I think of some ancient Greece city with all the thrills and shit. Lol. Gnat overlords. My own damn fault. Gnats aren't that bad, they're just eating dead roots. There's definitely worse pests to have in the garden. "Nicole, how do you keep them so dark green?" Easy. I put used coffee grounds into my cannabis plants top soil. If I don't make a tea with it. You can find these helpful recipes @RoyalQueenSeeds with all the good info and instructions. I also make banana brew for my girls, it's rich with everything they need. Helps them grow strong. The coffee grounds help them maintain that healthy green glow (nitrogen). 09/26/2021 Starting week #7 of flower still picking caterpillar, and eggs of leaves, not to serious as we are on top of it. Starting the week with banana peel tea drench 2 gallons per girl, which is all she will get besides water till harvest. Still small flushes of pistils coming out I believe she (Hulk) is in final stage of flower (4) lots of orange hairs (pistils) but fresh one coming out daily albeit slower. Hopefully she fatting up in coming weeks. 09/28/2021 Week7 Day #3 Definitely seeing more calyx swelling. #1 is chunking up nicely #2 looks good little bud rot were caused from cattipillar poop! #3 coming from behind Will be last to harvest for sure.

It's just officially week 8 day 56 fron flip. Been on 10/14 schedule this week too. My select strain i kept clones of are very vigorous and u can still see some hairs on leaves. Also perfect buds. Early cut test makes u go in another universe. Both are sweet but the select one is mossy n sweet hint cheese maybe thats the best one. Other one is sweet af even before cure like skittlez but the shape n yield aint good foxy n small :( the other one has a taste that is rare and denser very long trichomes. Anywho from here i givem non npk goodies then ro flush few days before chop. If they are not finished b4 contest to mt taste, ill harvest like half of the branches or something....they'll get their pics and ad.

I'm finally ending this strain and for a minute I had posted the last 2 weeks as a different name... I'm an idiot. From now on, its all going to be different strains so I won't need to keep too much track on what I'm growing. I have several plants right now and will be doing more videos on my youtube channel. Lots of nutrients burn. I think it's okay now but I stress the word 'think'. The brown spots on the edges of the leaves seemed to have abated. All coming on nicely though. Autopot working wonders. The plant seems to be getting through 1.5 litres a day.

The plants were repotted in their final pots of 7l. Growth has continued to increase strongly and I will top them all tomorrow. I have decided to keep all the plants. I haven't fertilized them yet but I will start this week. The watering water has only been slightly adjusted with Epsom salts and CalMag and the pH value lowered from 7.5 to 7.0.
