Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.

End of Week 9 of Flowering! I skipped Week 8 because I literally had no time for an update, but not much changed anyway. Temperatures spiked brutally - during Week 8, my growbox hit 32°C (90°F). To compensate, I dimmed the light to 75% power and raised it to about 60 cm above the canopy. This kept temps around 29°C (84°F), with occasional peaks at 31°C (88°F). Gotta say, the ventilation helps a ton, and I avoided any "foxtailing." Since mid-Week 8, I’ve cut all nutrients and only fed pH’d water at 6.2. The plants are still drinking, and under the 60X jeweler’s loupe, they clearly need more time. Most trichomes are still clear/milky, with very few amber ones—especially on the leaves rather than the buds. I’m a bit worried the heat might’ve delayed ripening. A good sign, though: the natural yellowing of leaves suggests we’re nearing the end of the cycle. The Sensi Stars (supposedly 8-week flowering time) still need longer, despite having the fattest, densest buds of the bunch. For now, I’m sticking to plain water and checking trichomes daily, hoping to chop some plants soon. 8/18 -Both plants just look really healthy and strong. Its funny how much you learn over time. I just looked back to my first grow and boy have I learned. Ive at least tripled the canopy of each plant in comparison to last grow. I really like the FIM method. -Going to increase the water of each feeding by 50 mL. Going to feed today with 600 mL solution and see how the plants respond. Based on past feedings they should respond with only an increase of droop. -Droop scale developed a few weeks ago still holds true today. Its the way I decide if they need a nice watering. -Leaves are looking very healthy. Looks like cream cookies is going to start changing colors soon. Excited 🤩 -Time lapse camera is acting all sorts of wonky. Im hoping the issue corrects itself soon--the time lapses are very informative of growth patterns. 8/20 -Both plants absolutely loving life. Doing really well and looking very healthy. -Every other day watering cycle is working amazingly. -Cream Cookies is really starting to smell wonderful as the trichomes come in. Small amount of orange hairs spotted on some of the canopy buds. -Time lapse camera is not working well--unfortunately 8/22 -Got the time lapse camera working *provisionally* although its still giving me issues. -Cream cookies is really starting to fill out. Most of the branches seem to be "main cola" branches as plant symmetry was broken around week 4. -No visual signs of stress, light burn, nutrient deficiency, of any other issues that might arise. -6.2-6.3 pH has been working wonders, plants really seem to respond well to them. Going to sprout 2 more Cream cookie plants during Week 9. Going to build a plant pot platform that can be raised so the new seedlings are close enough to the light. 8/23 -Some defoliation done on both plants, more-so on Cheese, its realllllllly thicc. Like oh boy so thicc im very excited about Cheese. Im smoking some of last harvests Cheese right now coming off a 2 month cure and OH BOY is it nice. Amps me up even more for harvest in 4 weeks 🤩

******Week 5 Veg - Jan 6 to 12, 2020 This was a week of growth. She grew up and did very well with a couple of her side branches thickening up. She is a very healthy girl but she is not flipping. I wrestled with this weeks journal because I wanted to get it started to show her great growth but all along I was not sure if I call this week a flower week or not. In the end I waited and I am calling it a Veg week😥😥 She is not flipping......freaking wants to though by all signs.......I got a suspicion but I hope I am wrong......I don’t want to run two flower cycles! IPM spray with Lost Coast Plant Therapy.......recent thrips experience and staying with a preventative cycle💀👻 Some branches are stiffening since the introduction for silica but others are still very pliable. The main stem is still very “bendy” and perfect for LST right now. Too soft for entering flower given the silica. Why? She has handled the light intensity fine.....she has not been going to sleep early. She has handled the nutrients well given the amount being put in anticipating her switching and wanting the flower dosages. She is beautiful little girl at first glance but she has some oddities in her growth......keeping the grow interesting she is young Skywalker😎 👍 More detail: Jan 6/20 - Day 29 - 2L RO water pH 5.7. - Run-off: 1150ppm, 6.1pH in try from last. Wanted plain water but she is feeding Jan 7/20 - Day 30 = life was busy........nothing done today for watering. - Pot was the heaviest of the bunch......enough to wait. - She was more droopy today.......cold in the tent though....75 degrees????? Jan 8/20 - Day 31 - Feel she is hungry so fed in AM today. - AM: full feed except no CalMag - AM run-off 900ppm, 6.2pH - PM: full feed with CalMag. - PM run-off 430ppm, 6.1pH - No time tomorrow morning and pots were not heavy so decided to feed again in evening. - She is green and happy.......no bud sites though? Wanted to break 1,000ppm and see what happens. - With Advanced Nutrients I am usually over 1100ppm at a similar stage. - Played with light intensity in the tent today by giving them all more. - Pulled 2 fan leaves today. - Limbs are growing funny. Soft and narrow and not typical symmetrical pattern of growth. Jan 12/20 - Day 35 - huge growth night....side branches bushed out and got taller!! - Supplemental focus on this feeding.......help root zone again. - Voodoo and Piranha for two weeks again at the start of flower and promote growth. Sensyzime to help clean up the roots for better uptake. - she is 13" tall and 18" wide now. - 4 large leaves removed and two smaller nodes. Wow. She grew 26cm this week. Clearly likes her new 10 litre fabric pot. From what I've seen of the pots so far I like them. She's making loads of flower sites, also note the stem abuse I've administered this week 😂 I'm trying to stress the ol' girl out a bit. Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 8. All good, girls are ok, just i strugle to keep moistering them properly, work takes too much time away .. Next watering will bring in BioBizz Root Juice. Happy growing ! Day 9. Slowly, but girls grow, watering tomorrow with first dose of Root Juice. Should start to kick in ;) Day 10. First nutes planted ;)) in next feed i will bring in couple more players, this time only 1ml/l Root Juice. Ph 6.5 Moisture moisture moisture ;) Day 13. So many things ... One gorilla went selftoping, dont know what to do ??? And i need reasons .. My quess is A. Wind damage, she was closiest to fan. B. Water spray too intense C. Light burn with spray combined I followed my ussual stuff, never had such mutation, had buds on leaves, had triple tops, had branches from leaves even, but they all had new grows, this one has only two leaves .. And this was the biggest bean and she looked fine till day 11, wanted even to show how bean size matters, but now all is gone, should i top her, or leave that natural mainlining ?? When i spray her, two top leaves fall down and lower nods new grow is exposed, so lst her like this ? Please help !!! Other 3 gorillas looks really ok, smallish, but ok. Cookies grow funky aswell, looks like two days behind gorillas. Thought to give them first nutes, but now i will wait a bit ... Started rotating girls every day.

Auto Opium week 8 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debbie., in the 80 with low humidity Auto Opium is thin and spindly, branches continue to bend so I added hoop supports. I sure hope she makes it to the end in one piece. If necessary, I remove the colas and chuck into the freezer.. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed.
