What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

2/15: Bud sites are really starting to thicken up. I think she's going to have to fat buds on her in the future. Gave a pH balanced flush today and rotated her in the tent. 2/19: Unsure if I have a light burn situation or a nutrient situation. Opted for another pH balanced rinse in lieu of nutes. Unfortunately I can't raise my light any higher. Will monitor..

01-07-2024 This week has been phenomenal for the Banana Kosher Kush plants, they are loving their enviroment and their nutrients. Our Sugar Bomb Punch seedlings are going but our Lion Holdings Soil is not the best in comparison to the growth we've gotten from our Freedom Farms soil. Again only time will tell and we are keeping a close eye on them as always. Our Auto Power Plant seedlings are showing rapid growth and we will be transplanting them in the next two days to prevent too much shock. Our northern lights are struggling a bit as is our Girlscout Cookies but I will add some variations to feeding to see if that helps.

Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve FIMed the main and continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 2ml/gal. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Mars Hydro tsl2000 is providing ~500-550 ppfd across the canopy. At this point the plants in the RDWC loop have different nutrient needs so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.

Pretty steady week. Just waiting for everything to fatten up.

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Jet Fuel has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. We are therefore at 8 very small branches growing, my plan for photoperiod plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the florets to split them, we always take care not to damage the new growing florets. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and in perfect shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I'm a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Thought I would have harvested already, but from the little I'm able to see, there still aren't really many, if any amber colored thc crystals, so I might wait some more days. The second plant remains 1 week or so behind but might soon catch up and they could come down at the same time. Still only flushing with water, some leafs are starting to curl and dry off. I'm just a bit paranoid that it is time to cut, I'm just not seeing the amber color because the camera can't pick it up. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Alright folks! So this harvest was fantastic! I mean! I’m a happy grower at harvest for any plant! I could harvest one amazing and one meh and be just as happy to cut dry and cure them both! This early miss smoked well and is only about two weeks in cure, this is a rank and musky strain with a whole plethora of combining smells, I find it had a massive pepper and spice hit with almost a food like consistency with its smell, I’m finding a even pine, spice, earthy almost cheesy platform with a fine kick of just a odd but interesting odder I can’t put my thumb on! The density of even the popcorn flower is unreal, rocks all of them. A very light almost desert sandy trichome layer in the interior of the nugs but toward the exterior it’s a lush dark green and red hue with purple calyxes also being seen from the top and Bottom inner and some outer calyxes. The trichome production was very impressive also the fast growth in veg was awesome! But I’m telling you! The big bud genetics and the white widow genetics in this are both prominent, and I love it! I’m saying for a auto it’s pretty potent! And not to say that other autos aren't! We all know they can be pretty Damn amazing! But yeah! The flavour is that of pepper and spice! Pine and a gassy greasy fresh herb blend! I wish I had taken more time to run her though because I believe if I had kept running her, her potency would have been a bit higher and definitely would have achieved a more full couch lock. But over all a easy grow and a dense dense grow. I recommend dropping rh and bringing head up a tad at the end to make those nugs as hard as you can! But that’s my bro advice lol

These plants smell to pungent can’t wait to cut them, overall everything has gone well big dense buds, the getiva 1700e was a upgrade i put in on the last day for my next run it was not grown using a getiva i used 600hps. Terps are looking good and ready

so she got flushed this week and is now fed ripen for the last 3 days, so that means next week is harvest, the smell is really loud now, very very citrus and earthy fumes all over the room. I can already tell this will be one of my favorite flowers to smoke. Most hairs are still white the more down in the plant there is barely any brown pistils but still she got amber trichomes all over her, just one more week straight water and ripen to let her suck those leaves dry so we can finish with a nice fade

Overall this was a little bit of roller coaster with this strain none but two of the plants turned out the same I did accidentally herm one out but still was good I had one turn out more looking like the white widow and very frost but I would grow this again just to perfect it I know I could of gotten more out of this strain

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff.
