things are still going great. She’s still at 18/6 light schedule. No nutes yet, in a month or so I’ll start with molasses and water, for the natural sugars when I put into flower.

Smell is amazing like fizzy pineapples it overpowers the cookie dawg smell but the combo of the strains is also amazing the slight cookie and chem smell inside the tent. Will re pot these all and hope they all females due to the seeds being regular and not feminised. All looks good will keep eye on pistils to appear or not. Stardawg is looking like a star ⭐️.. really happy and healthy plant.. looking at it I can confirm it will be the most yielding plant of this run.. buds are big, fat and smelling that sativa that I love.. can’t wait to finish it ✨

Haven't seen too much calyx formation yet, just a lot of stretching. Waiting on the purple too🧐 I've been pruning out lower branches and leaves hanging close to the ground to help keep air flowing and humidity down, especially near her stalk.

It took its time to fmower but damn what a tree.. the big bud and overdrive really helped push the weight

Wow! I thought it took off last week but this week has set a new record. This plant is bushy as hell. I've done a lot of LST this week, but it seems like every day there's a new tallest branch that needs to be roped up and tied down to the sides. My hetero life partner says I am being mean to the poor P.Sprout, but it is tough love and sprout will grow up stronger this way. Each day I've taken a branch that has grown about an inch above the rest and tied it with masons twine in a loop to the edge of the Ebb and Flow container and attached it with a binder clip. The next day there's some new growth that's taken its new light and shot up past the canopy and the process repeats. Interestingly the primary two shoots that came from topping are growing very slowly after being pulled off to the sides-- kind of falling behind the shoots coming out of their nodes. I've now tied off 7 shoots to the edges of the container and I'll probably have two more committed to light bondage tomorrow. I'm still struggling with the plant wilting in the evenings. By 6 or 7pm everything is looking a little sad and droopy. I've tried changing flooding schedules 2x, 3x, and 4x a day during the 18 hour lights on but it always seems to happen around the same time now. Temperature is not an issue as the temps at the plant are around 27C and the tent has been below 25C. I'm going to try upping the number of waterings to 5x 6x 7x and 8x this week. The webcam running the timelapse also flaked out a bunch this week but that has been resolved.

The four Bubblicious Autos have maxed the tent at 1.14 meters high this week, buds are slowly developing, I have taken out the Biogrow and concentrated on the Bloom and Top Max + added some CalMag. Surprisingly the late starter, the smallest runt at the start of the grow in a narrower 10ltr pot is taller than the ones in the larger wider 16ltr pots . Keeping the feed lite on these sensitive autos, adding 4ml of each flowering nutrient into an 8ltr filled bucket, 2ltrs for each plant every 3 days seems to be adequate. I dont want to over feed or over water, this is the right balance so far.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. Pretty quiet week in the tent. We did a little defoliation during the middle of the week but they are already full little bushes again. We raised the light up a bit to try and get them to stretch from the pots so we can lollipop in a few weeks. Our soil plants are doing very well too, @Foxfarm has really proven to be a great soil and the northen soul strain loves it. The smell inside the tent is definitely strong and they have been drinking alot more water.

VPD : 0.8-1.2 PPFD : 450-600 DLI : 27-45 Der AC Infinity AI+ Controller ist angekommen. Den T7 Luftbefeuchter hatte ich schon einige Tage davor im Einsatz mit Sensor konnte er auch alleine ziemlich gut den VPD regulieren. Bisher Top Produkte. AC Infinity Heater, Spiderfarmer Luftentfeuchter, Lichtadapter Zwecks Controller Steuerung kommen noch dazu. Bald auch mit CO2, wenn ich schon den Sensor und die automatisierten Möglichkeiten dafür habe… Haben noch 2 Plugs um die Abluft und den Luftentfeuchter mit einzubinden, würde nur noch einer für die CO2 Anlage fehlen. Langsam habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Ladys Fahrt aufgenommen haben… zuvor war alles eher gedrungen etc. Jetzt sind auch die Seitentriebe deutlich massiver, 1-2 Wochen werden die Ladys auf jedenfall noch in der VEG bleiben. Bin auf das Ergebnis gespannt
