5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#6 and FFT#7) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She's more than 36" across now... She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/16- Week Five is here and I couldn't be happier with how both of the Testers from Dutch Passion/SSSC are doing! Both are continuing to have excellent vigor and are 'praying' hard every day... VERY happy ladies! 5/18- Today, I watered both Testers with 1.5g of straight well water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 70℉. I also removed some new shoots growing down low on both plants to help redirect energy towards the upper portions. 5/20- Yesterday and today were cool and rainy, so all I really did was to spend some quality time with the ladies, giving them both a good looking over to catch any issues well before they get out of hand. Both looked fantastic! 5/22- Yesterday, both Testers were watered with 2g of well water with 3 tbsp/g of Worm Tea concentrate, which was ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. I have also started to do some HST on both, twisting and bending branches to allow light to reach down into their canopies. Well fam, Week Six of veg is on the books for these two gorgeous girls from Dutch Passion/Super Sativa Seed Club and I am absolutely impressed with how well both are doing despite the rather warm temp's right now... Die erste Blütewoche startet. Eigentlich wollte ich vor Einleitung der Blüte alle Männchen aussortieren, aber der Plan hat sich wie so oft geändert. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich 7 Männchen aussortiert, es bleiben also 6 Weibchen. Ich habe versucht die entstandenen Lücken aufzufüllen. Es sind 3x Red Mandarine dazugekommen. Leider musste ich die Wurzelballen "anpassen" damit alles passt - mal schauen ob sie den Stress verkraften.

I know you shouldn't really be defoliating when auto plants are in flower but I had to clear a path for airflow around the bottom of the plant because humidity is high because of the summer months apart from that she is going from strength to strength couldn't be happier would definitely grow Dutch passion again

5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesn’t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

Day 18. Just after being watered. Looking real stocky after being topped. You can see in the video where the two new shoots are growing nicely. Really big leaves at the moment, Roots have expanded and grown massively. Struggling to keep the humidity up at the moment, as much water in the tent as possible right now. Soon they will be big enough to start the LST.

También dentro de las variedades tenemos especímenes más avanzados que otros, es por eso que la cosecha se hará de forma escalonada. Desconectamos el aire acondicionado y ponemos al max la extracción.

The second week of flushing. Some of the leaves from the bottom of the plant are already yellow or light green. It seems that now she consumes the nutrient buildup from the bottom leaves. Still milky trichomes, but I spotted a few amber. Also, the buds gained a purple shade, looks awesome! week 14

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

I think that this is as good as they're gonna get. Gonna pull them both down and start a fresh one trying to keep it cooler cos mid 30s everyday is not good. Learned a lot this time, hopefully much better next time! Also took the top off the stardawg last weekend, should almost be smokable now!!

I veg them for 10 weeks. The two on each end are Blue Dream, the back left is Purple Urkle, the back right is Grandaddy Purple, and the one up from in the middle is Wifi OG.
