This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Hey growers! Another week is here and it was a tough week indeed. First, as you can see, one plant is missing. One of the wedding cakes become a hermie for some reason, produced seeds in buds and I had to cut it down early. Others look fine, no signs of seeds anywhere. Around 3-4 weeks till harvest. I also cut all branches and buds that were getting no light and did some lst to get all buds as much light as possible for the last part of flower. Cheers!

Estamos en las ultimas semanas de engorde, estamos tratando de tener un vpd dentro del rango 1.2 o 1.3 kpa. La T con luz prendida llega hasta 26 y de HR no pasa de 55 y no baja de 40. Con luz apagada llegamos a 21 de T y la HR entre 40-50. Vamos bajando ph de a poco y tambien la EC, buscando llegar al final de la semana en 1.3 o 1.4.

Divine Seeds Auto V.2 Contest 👉Sponsored Grow👈 Auto Black Opium W8F3 7/20-26 My Black Opium shows signs of distress with pale green/yellow leaves and spots. The damage, while less severe than Big Demon’s nutrient issues, continues to spread. Last week I asked a question to what was happening to my Divine Girls. Many indicated the soil was now depleted as it is now in flower with higher PK (phosphorus and potassium) demands. I immediately sprayed with banana juice 2x per day for 3 days while continuing to dry the soil with a fan. Leaves continue to show more spots in the leaves. Another responder indicated I overwatered creating a lock out. How could this happen? I followed the same watering schedule every 2 or 3 days. The only change in this grow is adding the super soil to the base. Further research on living soils indicates that living soils like super soil, ancient soil and other nutrient dense mediums need less frequent waterings as the organic matter holds moisture while still allowing proper drainage. Lesson learned With living soils water once per week and monitor for additional water needs. She will not produce as well as one would expect due to my negligence. I discovered that super soil naturally balances PH of water, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This simplifies the growing process and ensures healthier plants. Yes, I like the water only with super soil. As I learn more about organic growing hopefully, I will learn to identify what problems are before they get unmanageable. Autos have a shorter lifecycle and are less forgiving of mistakes. In the future, I might try a photo run where I can train High-stress-Training (HST) techniques and have more flexibility to correct errors. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!

More calm this week, not a lot of people mention on here that the work load reduces a couple weeks after the big stretch. Not had to do too much except a little bending as she’s still getting a bit too close to the lights again. Most of the fan leaves are off now, that I can reach that is. No more reservoir changes now until it gets the chop, as my nutrients stay fairly consistent for the next 3-5 weeks. At around 950 TDS @ 0.5 or 1900 PPM. Still no nutrient deficiencies, the longest stretch I have gone without at least some spots or marks on leaves. Would be interested to know what you guys think she might yield now she’s just about into her 5th week of flower?

Medusa is a true F1 hybrid created from pure, inbred cannabis lines. She boasts uniform growth traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavors, and plenty of potency.
