📝 Notes - On 🗓️05.11.24, This week, we are on Auto-Pilot and just Fertigating as needed; the ladies are stacking up nicely, and the leaves have grown back not sure if it is the genetics or the new nutrients; I would like to see less and will evaluate if more defoliation will be needed.
📝Fertigation injects fertilizers into an irrigation system to supply dissolved nutrients to crops.

Started to show some Phosphorus and / or Calcium deficiency. Flower comes on fast for this strain, gave her two feeds with an increase of CalMag and “P” from my NPK nutrient line and she looks great again. Such a short life span for this Autoflower strain, problems come fast! This is the end of her 8 weeks, tricomes are almost all cloudy with a few clear, she still has a bit to go before she is done. She is LOUD, ordered a new filter for the big tent to accommodate some funk I have coming up in ranks at the moment, more to come! 🌱😎💨

Changed my mind kept them in veg for another 2 weeks will defoliate Sunday and tie down last time In the flower tent them flip 7 days later after they had chance to recover

This week was a little rocky. Two girls on the outer edges are good, but the middle one is drooping and foxtailing already. It's weird because my middle plant was larfy last run as well. I might push her to the corner and let her do her thing with less attention... because I just got a photoperiod runtz clone that's gonna need some space and perhaps its own light. LST seems to be going well for the other two though. Sometimes with autos, it's just a genetic thing. They can be temperamental girls sometimes.

Great week for Mephy...other than winter being on the doorstep. 😒
Keeping her to 4 main cobs, slow and steady till she's ready for some LST. I've been adding DO (dissolved oxygen) into the water in an attempt to keep the roots happy in this tight space. So far she's loving it. If you have an aquarium pump and some airstones you can add DO to your irrigation. Worth a try if you haven't.
Anyway, hope everyone had a great tiny pot week! Back to work for me. ✌️🌱

Moved this plant from the front to the back to make it easier to finish LST and defoliating on two other plants. This plant is the largest of all 4 with the most node spacing between bud sites. Trichomes are just starting to appear.
Anyway. No signs of deficiency or over feeding. No signs of under or over watering. Everything seems good. Some slight red on stalks and petioles, so slight under feeding of P or K. Humidity is hovering between 55 and 65 which I am okay with for now. I added black strap molasses and set dehumidifier to 60%. Will drop to 55% next week, and 50% for final weeks.

Day 23, been QCing the buds and lots defoliation the past 2 days. Getting caked in Trich and some nice bright orange hair poping out. Added trimmed buds to mulch layer. No fan leaves in mulch

Do you see that SWAMPMONSTER in the corner of the tent there ?? The Queen towers above the canopy and the rest of the plants lol. It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Plants looking healthy and they are starting to form strong buds by the looks of it . Some of them have startet to have brown leaves, but the bud looks healthy.
Ive put the lights from 600w to 400w since they are suffering from high light and temp. Now the temp should be 24°to 26°.

Strong, grows pretty fast. Beginner friendly strain, easy to maintain. Just make sure to defoliate her often, or it will bush up before you know it!

Only adding water at a Ph of between 5.5 and 7…still No extra nutrients…switched placement of the plants because the Big Bang was starting to cone and figured the mist from the humidifier was giving too much extra moisture (Not sure how much sense that makes but it healed after the move so I guess🤷♂️🏾) Other than that everything was fine.
