She has turned an absolutely beautiful pine/dark red. Buds appear to be medium sized ROCKS. Trimming this one will be an absolute breeze. Trichomes keep developing but mainly on the lower decks. (Upper decks are mostly populated I guess...) SHE IS NOW SMELLING LIKE EARTHY+SPICY ORANGES/PEEL. - From skunkyfunky to funkyfruity to this has been a super-fun olfactory ride! In the early flower weeks I had been skeptic where this is going, but now I'm convinced! If she just stays like this I'll be fucking thrilled.. but she has about two weeks to go and we'll see where she ends up. I'm excited to see/smell! Still super fucking happy with her root system/infrastructure. I'm feeding her (late bloom now) at about 1.6/1.7 EC with 20:9:18 N:P:K and 13x/4x mg Cal/Mag per L. No deficiencies no nothing 😍 Also: no further defoliation 😊

this girl has come on well since the change to 12/12 shes stretching out and grown into a decent Bush so decided to do some defoliation and lst shes responded well to it will be dropping silicon this week was going to drop it last week but didn't will be adding buddy next week thanks for reading happy growing guys

Day 57 the plans continues to grow healthy and fine very slow but it's starting to look good . I know that most of the growers in this platform and elsewhere do defoliate and trim down all the lower branches of the plant so that the plant can concentrate all its energy into the higher bigger and better buds .and I do not do this because I drive the plants very hard with nutrients and those lower branches with small buds always give me the first sign of anything going wrong with her and that's why I leave them as a buffer zone to protect the bigger buds and that allows me to push very hard the plant. thank you for reading and will continue to update have happy grow

April 6, 2021 (Day 92, Flower 43): Everything looks great. Trying to get humidity down another 5% this week. Averaging 30% rH and 72℉. April 7, 2021 (Day 93, Flower 44): Plants are looking and smelling amazing. No complaints. Looks like Unknown 2 may finish up a bit before the others - guessing due to the genetics. Unknown 2 is incredibly frosty and smells very rich and dank. Very excited for the dry and cure! Gelato 1 and Unknown 1 seem to be about in line with each other development-wise. Averaging 30% rH and 72℉. April 8, 2021 (Day 94, Flower 45): Pots were light. Watered with 4l per plant with 4ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 1ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus + 1tsp/gal Humboldt Nutrients Big Up Finishing Powder at 6.4 pH. This waiting game is so difficult! Love opening my tent each day and being punched in the face by this smell! Just overall amazing experience so far. Averaging 30% rH and 72℉. April 9, 2021 (Day 95, Flower 46): Plants look amazing. Took my microscope to Unknown 2 today and the crystal development is insane. Averaging 30% rH and 72℉. April 10, 2021 (Day 96, Flower 47): Can't. Wait. For. HARVEST! Getting close! I think I will start flushing Unknown 2 but continue the feeding schedule for the other two plants. It is looking like Unknown 2 has a couple week shorter flower time than the others. Perfectly a-ok with me - then I can smoke it sooner! Averaging 30% rH and 74℉. April 11, 2021 (Day 97, Flower 48): Pots were light. Watered with 4l per plant with 4ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 1ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus at 6.1 pH. First week of flower! After the 48 hour dark period, the budsites turned bright green. This faded a bit over the next week to become green like the rest of the plants. I'm starting to see repro signs and looks like I've a few males so I'll be keeping a close eye on them! A few days later I decided to quarantine the males so I chucked them outside on my back porch to decide if i wanted to chop completely or maybe finish growing on my roof? My concern was that pollen would float fro mthe roof right into my windows, making its way into the tent and pollinating the ladies... By the end of the week the largest plant was showing it would be overpowering the others, heightwise, so I decided to supercrop it, despite being in the beginning of stretch, now was the time to. Water ph'd to roughly 6, no additional nutes added at this time.

At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

Day 50. Girls still on water diet, one more watering, or maybe even two more left. In video tried to highlight, most N hit plants, others are more than fine, thinking to throw out all who still in veg or didn't made through canopy, its still jungle at mines ... Nothing special, supercroped plant recovered well, think i have two new objects for HST ;)))) they fly, but stretch patern that they got from to high lights is repeated even when they reached optimal height, mistakes are bad and have long lasting consequences... One third of flower is done i guess, only couple plants will be bigger than an ounce, but i think i have like 40 of them ;))))))) Next time i count ! Day 54. Girls are very dry, some leaves still curled now from that, not only excess of Nitrogen... My night shifts don't leave me time, whenever i am back - they sleep... 12 hours shift, bike, train ... no time left at all, but .. Today they got still water , but i added 2ml of silica acid to it, ph after all - 6.6. Thinking to defoliate them sooner or later, maybe even today ... Next watering full feed or maybe not, if i rip all that leaves away, still valuating plants, would do it last week, but had no time ...

Although over the last 24 hours they arnt looking as good as they did. I think it’s just the stretching. I have moved the light up a little to se of that improves things. There’s a sweet grape 🍇 pungent smell that lingers after watering which is amazing she also has seeds …I await her ripening.

I have to dry the buds in the dark, at 21 degrees in 50% humidity

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.
