week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

End of week 12, looking good. Stay tuned. So far so good. Water lines getting clogged a little with roots but I put together a little work arround using the water level indicaters I built into the system. (see picture) They are kind of on auto pilot. At this point in the grow I have learned how this particular batch likes things. For example 1.63 is the optimum EC currently. By monitoring how much the EC increases/decreases vs water level I can tell if they can handle the food level, and adjust accordingly, before they burn. I keep them right at the border of too much nutes. If you look you can see all the tips are just barely burnt. I ride the line. I'll update again on Sunday with some fun stuff.

I was on a trip for work for 2 days, I tried my best to take care of everything before I went. They still got damaged cuz of underwatering.. also I’m not quite sure if they are underfertalized because of all the flushing for the right ph I did. They started to develop droopy yellow leaves that are pretty soft to the touch and don’t crunch up at the tips like they first did from nutrient burn. I gave them a top dress today with a mixture of 25% worm castings and 75% all mix, hopefully this will stabilise them. I would really appreciate some help in this case, as I’m not sure if it’s caused by nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn. Also I wanted to do a big defoliation and lollipoping this week, but I feel like I first should solve the nutrient problem, so I don’t start damaging the top growth.

Despite the fact that this is an auto flowering plant, they are a very worthy example that show that even autos can be better than photoperiodic flowers. I am growing this strain for the third time, it always pleases me with the amount of taste and, most importantly, the way it is smoked, very good THC. Thank u @Sweetseeds 🦅

WHAT A HARVEST!!! My largest ever to date. After drying and curing the final weight is ~10.5 ounces of total flower and an additional 2 ounces of golden keif made from dry ice and bubble bags. I am SO STOKED right now. Thanks for checking out my grow diary. I will be back next season to continue to improve my technique.

Think I fed too much water but not sure, it’s been a couple days and medium still feels wet. One of the gorilla cookies is looking terrible and the other looks like it’s kinda starting to show some deficiency that I think might be magnesium deficiency but not sure. Anyone got any suggestions to help?

So both plants are in flowering phase now just the first week of it i didn't have footage but for the second i got some so here😁 starting off with the polyploid mutation which looks like an caterpillar with hairs to me haha, really nice to see a mutation with my own eyes in my own grow hehe 😅else the plants are doing really good and being healthy so far 😎 happy growing all 😎✌️💚

On the last day of week 10 I brought it down to 18 hours lights. Then half way through week 11 I brought it to 16 hours. My plan was to reduce light until next week to 12/12 so I could try and induce resin development. One plant is done, as you can see from the trichomes. The other will finish this week. I wasn’t finished flushing and would prefer another week, but I also don’t want couch lock bud.

This entry covers days 31-38. There is a timelapse for this week. First off, I'm not sure whether this week should be the first flowering week. Evidence of preflowering is clearly visible. Again, another week of dramatic growth. This week the first nine pointed leaves have grown. What a crowded leaf! Unfortunately my LST efforts haven't achieved much in shaping the plant. This is because my net cup wasn't held in place enough, so the cup would tilt rather than the plant conforming to my bending. I plan on switching the nutrients for the transition from veg to flower.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Things have been coming together very nicely, packing on very nice frost, buds have been foxtailing not too much but just enough, in result I lost some density to the buds which I don't particularly mind (my preference). The Terps are really nice and has simplified compared to last week when they were ever-changing. They know boast a black Cherry Punch forward Superboof flavor. Notes of ripe/rotten dank black cherries with that classic Superboof Orange rind/dankiness. The leaf rub gives a more sweeter black cherry wine almost smell with hints of bubblegum. Very nice change from the usual candies you see constantly nowadays. This is a dank one, every morning I wake up to the dank dank aromas of this plant filling the house. Quite a beautiful thing if I may say. All in all, one of my most favorite grows I've done too date! She's getting close to harvest if day another 2-3 weeks at most! Gonna check on trichomes soon but she's absolutely covered in trichs! I'll try and get better pictures!

For her last week or so she had to move, as i needed the other tent. The temperature and humidity fall over the last days. On day 96 it looks like she can be harvested the next days as first amber trichomes on the side buds have appeared. Probably she will be chopped this weekend. She got very frosty and looks liked powdered with flour.

8/9/25 I'm not sure if she stalled a bit or what but she seems happy but not a whole lot seems to be changing with her. Added some dr earth 394 and threw in some dying leaves because I noticed some worms hatched from when I added the home made worm castings 8/14/25 she has really started to fill out this week. Applied some cal mag in the form of uprising foundation. And will continue to add microbe charge Still tweaking the auto water set up. Trying to keep it between soaked and only partially watered. Maybe it's the drip heads.
