took out 8 litres out of the system and added 8litres rainwater. also added extra airpump (each plant has now 2 airstones) plants seem to grow at normal speed now. another week before they go in flower.

35 days in Bloom, the Bruce Banner lady may be a bit smaller, but the buds she’s producing are epic. They’re already completely covered in resin, and a sweet scent of strawberries is starting to emerge. Watering has been kept simple with just dark molasses and microbes. 🌲🍀

Quiet week. Some lst and defoliation. Trying to get the EasyFeed timer dialed in is a bit tougher than I imagined. Different phenos may feed differently, so one pot may be dry and the other may have an inch of water and isn't ready for another feed when the other is. Going to focus on dialing it in. I love the concept, but it may not be practical. We'll see.

Utilizo macetas altas de 1,4L que riego con abundante agua, antes de plantar las semillas. Cuando germinan las planto bien etiquetadas y pulverizo agua, sin regar. Así evitamos movimientos indeseados de las semillas. 18h de luz 6h de oscuridad. Los balastros ajustados a 250w. Durante la semana, van saliendo los cotiledones de todas las plantas.

01.07.26 Ja weiter geht's sind richtige Monster geworden und so wie sie im Moment aussehen werde ich wohl nicht entblättern müssen das Licht dringt schön in die Pflanzen ein ich denke Apple Betty wird wohl am meisten Ertrag bringen zusammen mit Chocobang aber GDP braucht sich nicht verstecken wir werden sehen die Frage ist nur wann in Blüte entweder in 2 Wochen oder am 01.08.26 in 2 Wochen wäre wohl besser da ich paar Sorten diese Runde hab die bis zu 11 Wochen gehen dann wäre Anfang Oktober ende sonst ende Oktober und da ist das Wetter Mist mal schauen Daumen drücken für gutes Wetter Peace 🕊️

Cherry cola is getting real close! As you can see in my tricomb pictures I got a new toy! You can see some ambers in there and we’re starting to go down on our nutrients with her. She’s gotten chunky and smelly and I’m super stoked to do a smoke review on this one🤤 Gorilla Cookies is starting to chunk up as well! She’s frosting,chunking up and starting to show what seems to be a slight fade. She’s smelling amazing and I’m super stoked to see her put on the weight 💪

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Nach wie vor nahe zu täglich mit knapp 200ml gegossen pro Pflanze. Heute sind mir die leicht nach oben gewölbten Blätter aufgefallen, hab die Lichtstärke um 25% erhöht auf 50%, Abstand blieb bei 25cm (Hersteller Angaben) Letzter Tag der Woche 2, Licht auf 75% und 30cm Abstand

The Plant as a hole (without the main stem and roots was 1.4kg. due to German laws I could only keep around 250g of the nicest buds of it. This should end in around 50g of dried flower. The wet flower weight would likely be around 1kg which would have resulted in 200g dry. For drying i took one nice branch of 42g and hung it on my ESPHome scale. That way I can track the weight loss. After a week at 60% humidity and 11°C (52F) the weight was constant at 10.8g. This is the time I took down all the drying branches, trimmed them and put them to cure (where they now are). Overall conclusion and learnings of this grow: - 200W might not be enough - Growing in DWC without any media (like pebbles, rock wool or so) is absolutely doable - Compo Expert Hakaphos Red/Green works but you will battle PH drops - The UVC aquarium cleaner worked great. Never had to use H2O2 - Renewing the water only if really needed works fine for me - 15L of Water should be the lower limit. The bucket I used was great but maybe a bit small - Automatic PH dosing (based on ESPHome and Home Assistant) works great - The cheap Chinese PH/EC probe did not drift much. I only had to recalibrate it once - It is nice to have the plant elevated for working on it but can get tricky if the stretch is very high like in this case Overall I'm happy. I did not have any bigger issue with pests or nutrient deficiency.

Sehr entspannte Woche. Es wurde über der 4.Noodie getoppt. Sonst gab es nur noch Nährlösung und regelmäßige Kontrolle. Bisher ist die Hindu Kush mein ruhigster Grow.

i started feeding them more water now, i feed them 4L water but i measured runoff at 2000+ ec i dont know if thats important the strawberry lemonade really outgrows all high levels. 2 look very healthy, the one looks like ph lockout i dont know how to fix that, i ll just look further if nothing more happens .. i will defoliate the strawberry lemonade day 14 and the healthy one at day 14 and defoliate the other one at day 21 maybe
