Week 14 Day 92 (13/11/2020)💧: Great start to the week with watering today and because all the girls are entering their 4th week of flower, I will again be increasing the BioBloom as per the commendations on the watering chart, but since the pH has been increased they are definitely looking great and have enough nutrients between the watering days. So today I gave the girls 4.5 ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5ml of TopMax for 1.5L of water. I think I will be giving the same nutrients for the rest of the week as well. Day 93 (14/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually. The girls are looking amazing as always Day 94 (15/11/2020): I wanted to check the trichomes on the girls today with a loupe to see how they are developing up closer but I have no idea where my loupe is :( Really wanted to look closer at the flowers but will have to find it first to take some close up pictures as well Day 95 (16/11/2020)💧: We watered the girls today and gave them the same nutrients as before. They were watered with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow and 1.5ml of TopMax. I think the TopMax is definitely making the buds fatten up Day 96 (17/11/2020): Took some lovely pictures of the girls today. Was finally able to capture on camera the redness of the flowers (or at least on girl#1). It’s quite difficult to the get the true colours because of the way the camera perceives the light. Day 97 (18/11/2020): Just can’t get enough of the smell of the girls omg they smell so great. It’s kind of a mixture of citrus and spicy at the same time. Cannot wait to taste them Day 98 (19/11/2020)💧: I keep wanting to measure the pH to make sure that it is still above 6.0 but I haven’t had enough time because it takes a while, but I will make sure to measure the pH before the next watering. So as mentioned at the beginning of the week, I will be giving the same nutrients. I watered the girls with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5 of TopMax. So far the girls are looking good and happy with the nutrients. I’m only noticing yellowing leaves at the very bottom because there is not enough light, other than that the leaves seem like all the nutrients are balanced well. Also it looks like have finally stopped stretching length-wise and started focusing on growing the buds because the height is the same as last week. But really amazing progress this week, I’ve included a video of all the girls in the tent as well so it’s easier to see how different they are!

2/3/22: Watered with only aquarium water, no nutes. They are all getting very thirsty! Sherbert was dry and droopy yesterday so I watered her yesterday. I watered all other plants today, they seemed mildly dry/very slightly droopy - so I gave them between a ½-¾ of a gallon each. I'll have to keep a close eye on Sherbet she's very thirsty & she gets hangry easily! (hangry = droopy:)

A bit defoliation on top now the buds come

Stretching is slowing down now. I defoliated reasonably hard 2 weeks ago , now I know I should have gone harder but this is my first time growing this strain. I've got one pheno that's looking like it will be done in the next week or two . I have one pheno that has very few stigma which is something I've only ever seen before on super lemon haze crossed with mimosa evo . You can see them in the video. Keep growing 💚

They are still not too happy with me... Not liking the nutrient strength I choose again.. So after 24hrs of just ph water and 1/4 strength hydroguard. No change I thought they would appreciate just water and a root stimulate. But no change in root or plant mass. Looking like they are very stunted from nutrient burn. So moving forward I went with same strength as the 1st feeding that they liked. But I did it in a hurry before work and realized after the fact that I put that same amount I put before but didn't account for lowering the water level to 3.5 gal from 4gal. So end up being slightly stronger then before. I did add 0.5ml of hydroguard to each bucket. Also added 0.5 of bud candy to each bucket. But hoping they work with me fingers crossed. 4/12/2023 5.8/72°F/221(Left rear) 5.8/72°F/227(Middle front) 5.8/72°F/214(right rear) No sign of transitioning to flower yet. 4/14/23 Colorado Cookies recovered and jumped like a inch looking alot better! Overall Height 3.5" And I noticed that there was some growth in the root zone. But noticed there is something going on with the upper leafs. Runtz Seems to be recovering but still a little rough. Overall Height 2" But I did notice the roots mass did not change and they still appear to have the brown tint and seems to have gotten slightly worse toward the bottom of 6"net basket. I believe that's contributing to the slow recovery. Still looking alot better tho. Banana Purple Punch seems to have bearly changed at all. There's very slight growth in center. No change to root mass at all. Overall Height 1.5" Found some very helpful information on measuring EC instead of ppm and how to monitor EC and Ph. So will be doing this moving forward. I'm going to redo Banana's bucket to exactly what I gave the 1st time she was happy but this time accounting for the .5 gal change in water level. I'm also looking into if I can use the hydroguard at full strength on nutrient burned autos since its not a nutrient for the plant. But I need to fight the brown roots in runtz tonight. See if I can't get all three happy! And save this grow to a more acceptable outcome. And put full strength hydroguard and full strength rapid start in all buckets amd ph to 5.8 and left it for 24 hrs. I made a floral spray of armor si at 0.33ml to full spray bottle. Wet em down good. Twice today. 4/16 I noticed Banana's leaf tips began to droup a little. So lowered water back to 3.5 gal and mixed the nutrients for 3 gal to be safe and leave ppm for cal mag and bud candy without nutrient burn. Added 0.5 cal mag and 0.5 bud candy. I trimmed all the burned leaf tips off, so I can see if and when it burns again. And since it was the best my test has looked yet I took a video and some pictures. But still need to figure out whats going on with Colorado cookies. Has spotty yellowing. Thought maybe light burn. So checked and raised like a inch or so. So after the 3 hrs peroxide treatment. I changed water out with fresh water and did my nutrient differently. I got the EC of my tap water whixh was between 0.19 and 0.23 between the buckets. Then I added cal mag to 0.5EC And added nutrients base and additions to a EC of 1.0. Then I added 4ml hydroguard to 3.5gal. ------GENERAL COMMENT------ As planed I lowered the base nutrient to 2ml, and took a break from Cal Mag, to release the N a bit, green is on point now. Tomorrow will catch up with the Cal Mag schedule as usual. Time for some overdrive, for the rest all good, girls are developing well and buds are getting bigger, no issues. Smelling delicious! Hope I had some Terpinator to give a go... ------GG. AK47 COMMENT------ AK47 is developing slower, but with more branches.

The stretch is amazing! This plant is a real sky king! Buds are really stacking well on most of the branches. A major recovery from the massive defoliation from last week! Internodes are Sativa like. Branchy. BHB 1 is a monster! Around 19 viable bud sites. She's taaall. Lollipopped the lower quadrant for airflow and to redirect the growth where it is needed. BHB 2 is the shorter, slightly younger plant. Shorter and has about 1-12 bud sites. Five branches are taller than the rest (This is a similar trend in #1). The buds are looking healthy. I do get the occasional burnt leaf from my heater at night. Another week of stretching and another big defoliation and that problem should have sorted itself out. Just found out my res temp is at 62°F. I've started the circulation fan in my insulated box in sync with my exit fan. When it gets too warm, it'll start not only my exit fan, but also the box fan. Should raise the temp gradually back up to 65°. Where I like it. Still, no one has complained. Growth was/is still vigorous and healthy! Keeping the PPMs at around 800-900. Going to do a straight water flush for 24 hours, then start again at 500 PPMs or so. In soil I've always done periodic flushes throughout the cycle of the plant. Usually twice in veg. Once at around 6 weeks and another at transition. The third is at week four of flower and the last is the obligatory final flush. 24-48 hours after the flushes, there is a strong and vigorous spurt from the plant. three days later 'in soil' I go back to nutrients. DWC requires much less time to do the same thing, so 24 hours, it is! I've done two flushes so far and the experience in DWC is the same. Just faster. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Although the root rot is essentially gone, I continue to brew my microbe tea using Advanced Nutrients Tarantula. I add a litre every forty eight hours to each plants res. This is just prevention at this point. There is so much peat moss and soil left in the root ball when transplanted from their soil, it just seems prudent. Future grows will be done 'sterile. With no organic material or biosphere (microbes)... unless we run into problems again. With the res temps so low, I don't think it'll be an issue. Looking good. One plant is ready to harvest, but I'm going to push it another week anyways, maybe go for around 30-40% amber trichomes, as I prefer the heavier effects.

HST done at the end of the week, did cut some fan leaves and some topping and defoliation, 1 more week before sending them to flowering.

26Jul Made more rectangles. A budsite in 95% of them, too. Flowering really setting in now. Smells! 28Jul Lollipopped more aggressively - could've done more earlier. Took all small shoots that didn't reach the canopy. Managed to fill out 95% of the squares. 29Jul Realized I never un-dimmed the lights after lollipopping... Oh well. LOVE this canopy...

This was the last time running this strain/retired and boy oh boy did she finish Strong. I never got her to be this colorful any other time and she tastes of a distinct orange🍊flavour.

Sour Diesel Haze is coming along nicely, lots of upward growth and node development. I gave her a FIM pinch this week. Expect the flowering stretch to start at any time. 👍

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. They are growing fast and start preflowering. Drinking 1,5l with 2ml fertilize every 36h.
