8 weeks in flower today day 57

This week I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the plant growing taller and to allow the side branches to catch up. I also started feeding them. I will probably repot and switch to flower next week now they've all outgrown their mutations.

I did feed her with Recharge and Big Bloom last weekend, but since then I've been giving water only and gave a good flush watering on Thursday. I am planning on harvesting her in stages. I'm going to cut the top 2 nodes (the ones with the most LED burn) on Monday, then cut the rest of the plant next weekend. I'm curious to see how much the lower buds benefit from this. Green Crack is the plant on the far right in the group shots. Update: I started cutting her down today. Cut down the top 2 nodes and left the rest of the plant. Will let the rest grow one more week before taking her down completely. So far 6.5 oz wet weight. That alone should be over an oz dried! 👍 New pics added too

As of now I've scarified the seed, soaked in water for 20hr then moved to paper towel till a 1mm or less tap root was showing then planted in the medium. This grow has a lot of new things happening. its my first attempt at indoor growing using dry crystal fertilizers, the brand of nutrients I'm using is Lotus. It was also a gift from another user @SanderanderS as shipping to them would have been astronomical for the stuff they wanted. I have noticed some weird things like boated packaging, off gassing and weird consistency with the nutrient line up so far and been in contact with the reps online about it, They said everything is normal and not to worry. Another new thing with this grow is how it will be grown under the new LED's by Medic Grow. They will be under two of their MINI-SUN 2 240W LED grow lights using their V1 Spectrum, Its good from seed to harvest. You can find more information about this in the foot note. Just going to wait for another week till It pops up and will update as follows. Watered in with PH of 6.2 and a EC of 0.6 or 340ppm 500 scale. The plant grows very vigorously and relentlessly. He developed a large central top, which has an intoxicating scent of fruit. If you touch it, it's full of resin. Another week or two then it will be cut and hung, I gave the last dose of fertilizer knows now only water

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12... I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... Amazing....strech is on the way..... 😅 Nice fresh smell lovely, I love the structure. She does not strech that much so far but she is like a little more bushire a lotnof leaves and smaller ones... she looks different in "person" you would see more differences compare to other ones from the same breeder in this group ;) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;) ;)

What an amazing strain, the plant purple all around giving these amazing range of colored leaves. The buds are super tight to the touch and heavy filled with trichomes. The past week I only gave plain water. Giving her the time to use all the nutrients already introduced. I was thinking about using Flawless Finish but decided to keep it purely PLAGRON nutrient from start to finish. The competition deadline is close so I hope you all enjoy some of the pictures I was able to share. Next week I'll harvest, but already I can't tell that she will produce great buds once dried. Another week here comes and goes. I continue to adjust the list ties to widen this girl out but that's essentially over now. Gonna let her gain some height now in her last week of stretch. This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over 😤 I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.

She's doing well this week. Pushed out a few new leaves.

Here we go for the first session. Hope it will be as easy as the first one was... finger crossed ! As I love sativas strains, Chocolate Haze seems a perfect choice to me. The grow tent in tall (2m) so the girls can grow till 1.6m more or less. With some training and topping, it should be ok. Germination day 5 : 2/3. I decided to put a 4th Chocolate seed. If it germinates, it will be just 5 days younger. Nothing I can't deal with ! If it doesn't, never mind. Let's give it a try ! Germination day 9 : 4/4 ! Now it means that I have to deal with 7 pure sativas in 1m2…. I love chalenges 😁😅 Germination day 12 : The litle girls are growing gently. The second pair of leaves is coming, and I thing I'll turn diary into "week 1" on saturday with their first repotting. The 4th Chocolate haze is a bit small for repotting as she's 5 days late compared to the others. But, she grows fast and strong (maybe faster than the 3 others) and I think she'll make it ! We'll see.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! Smells like coconut and is a great mix of combos that was added to this plant .

Day 101 Sorry for the entire week missing but i was facing a lot of troubles.. starting from the heat stress that made foxtailing one apical and burned a lot of tips ( a heat wave arrived last week and the temps in the box peaked at 31°C, i had to start using the ac ), going trough a lot of lower branches removal because was really too filled down there, ending in a savage calcium deficency that hitted both of them causing more leaves damages (now i'm adding silica and calcium/magnesium in the "only ro" watering days).
