Just did the switch to 12/12. Decided not to scrog. It’s my first time not scrogging. I have been training them a bit. One of the plants has been abused by me a bit. It didn’t love being topped. Not sure but it grew very bushy and I’ve been working hard on it. Using it as a bit of an experiment.

I did notice some fad in the leafs so I upped my nitrogen a little and it seemed to stop the problem. All in all Happy Growing

viel hat sich nicht mehr getan seit dem letzten eintrag. so richtig bernsteinig wollten die trichome nicht werden obwohl ich den pflanzen zwei wochen mehr zeit als geplant eingeräumt habe. zum trocknen hab ich die nur grob getrimmt. die feinarbeit kommt nach dem trocknen. da im zelt noch die white truffle stehen hängen die freaks erstmal im schrank. die bedingungen zum trocknen sind wetterbedingt gerade sehr schlecht. bei 70% raumluftfeuchtigkeit wird so schnell nix trocknen. vielleicht wird es ja doch noch sommer in den nächsten tagen.

I topped this beautiful girl again and it was 32 tops in total, now I will wait 2-3 weeks for her to overcome these heavy stresses and start active growth, after which I will cover the scrog net and switch the light cycle to 12/12 💚🌋

Sour Hound is stretching for the moon. She's the tallest plant I've ever grown so far!! Just starting the flowering stage now. I can't wait to see how she yields. I backed down a little on the Recharge this week, but still giving twice the suggested amount. Also still giving her Mammoth P. Will start with MegaCrop (Greenleaf) nutrients later this week. 👍

There were problems with the grow. First I burned the leaves with self made insecticide. Then she got nitrogen poisoning. She grew rather small, but the smell was beautiful: fruity and exotic, pineapple 😊. I am very happy that she still managed to grow such nice buds. I only trimmed the fan leaves and hung the stalks with buds in the basement. I hope that humidity will stay reasonable. ATM there is 75% RH I will update the report after first smoke

Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... These Original Sensible ones are having really nice smell :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Diary Plant was given nutrient solution every day when the sun went down in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L -    Calcium solution-->1 mL/L I started with 1L of tap water measured at 240ppm. Then added Calcium fertilizer from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 650ppm. I ended up with 2 L of nutrient solution. Day 67 I topped again for the fourth time and did some prunning, plant now has 16 mains. I also did some bending. Firstly I had to build some kind of support where mains would be attached to. I shaped 1 m long steel wire into circle shape, drilled a hole into plastic pot and pushed the 50 cm long wooden stick through it. Then steel wire was zip tied on to wooden stick. Bending was quite easy to do. I used soft rubber wire to attach mains to the steel wire support. I bended in the way that mains were equaly distanced from eachother. Weather report Day 64-67 Weather was sunny, not a single cloud in the sky. Day temperatures were extreme, around 37 °C. Night temperatures were 29 °C Day 68-70 Weather was sunny but the temperatures calmed down a little bit. During the day I measured around 31 °C.

Bud are thickening up. Buds are still pretty small though. She smells wonderful. She’s getting super frosty

***Mar 28 Had to redo the reservoir a day early, she is drinking way too fast. I am going to need to make sure to top up the water level every single day now, to prevent it from drying out so fast (2 days, and its half empty!!!) I took away the Root Farms Base and doubled basically everything else. I did this because I feel like the stretch is finished, so I wanted to remove some of the nitrogen. PPM is at 2100 and Ph is at 6. She's starting to get little nugs! Not much of an ambient air smell yet, but the stem rub is very fragrant. The smell reminds me of a warm summer day by the pool, the smell of the fresh air mixed with bright flowers and lemon cut grass. A very beautiful, light, and energetic smell. Can't wait for it to finish, and wondering how the smell will evolve as flower continues. Did a root trim today as well, because it was getting a little crowded in the reservoir, now we are nice and tidy! (Hopefully wont need to do another until the end of flower but we will wait and see how it goes lol). She's filling out the tent a lot, I would say she at least doubled in size since the beginning of flower. ***Mar 30 No sign in trichomes yet, but she's starting to bulk up a little bit! Mostly just the top sites are bulking, but there is some development on some of the upper inner branches as well. ***Mar 31 2 full cups of water added to the reservoir today...! ._. Also down from 2100 to 1800 PPM, like what? I cannot get it to slow down, and I am almost worried I am not giving it enough, but, I mean, it's growing incredibly fast. Just from yesterday to today, the pistils are POPPING like mad, and I even had to do some leaf tucking (and take the top 2 fan leaves covering the inside, it's been a while since I've needed to do that!) All I can do is wait and monitor the PPM, and if it gets too close to 1000 before monday, I will add more nutes. She really acts like the more I give, the more she uses 😅 What an impressive strain. ***April 2 Topped up the reservoir, and made sure PPM and Ph were alright (1600ppm and 6.1ph). It almost looks like it stretched over night, and I had to raise the light up (it went from over 700-1000ppfd for the branches and tops, respectively, to around 500-700). I was going to add more nutrients, but it seems okay at 1600 for now, and now that it wont be getting such intense light, it wont be forced to drink more. I ended up cleaning out some more leafage around some over-layering spots, and also some inner nodes that weren't going to develop into anything other than shake. Got some close ups of the inner nodes, and a quick video showing the layout of the plant! It's amazing how big it's getting, it's already taking up the whole tent, and its only been 2 1/2 weeks since I threw her into flower! 😂 💪😁👌

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Plants are going into flower. I took night time pics so you can see them sleep. They are a all looking great. This girl is looking great she is 24 inches. Very nice branching on all three plants. I should defoleate and remove some of the bottom branches now.

Week 15 - 06/21 - 06/27 Light - 200 W HPS & 265 W LED Day Temperature - 78 F Night Temperature - 68 F Humidity - 40 +/-5 D50 Flower - Fed the ladies and raised the HPS and LED lights up and turned the HPS down to 200 W, I am trying to emulate fall by lowering the amount of light. D53 Flower - Fed the ladies again, I think this may have been the last feeding of nutrients. The next watering I will hopefully start flushing. D55 Flower - Noticed some of the leaves are starting to fade and turn yellow. Hopefully, that means they are getting close to harvest, I should be cutting them down next week. D56 Flower - Was on a trip and had to water the ladies with a timer and pump, thankfully everything worked fine. Started flushing with FloraKleen.
