Week 9

My girl is almost ready for flushing, darknees period and harvest. The flowers look fantastic, frusty and full of tricoms. After the flushing I'm gonna put her in an 2 day of darknes and then harvest. In the final 2 week's I turned on my uva light at 20% power and total of 6 wats. For the first two days, the light work for between 1-3 hours and after that for 6 hours a day.

So first of before you wonder why tape is falling off the trunk etc, all that is coming off. Little experiment im doing of Super HST, essentially snapped off 3 main nodes and taped them back together. I want to see if this makes a difference in overall weight, quality and any visual differences. The plan is to weigh all 3 total weight individually and compare to other branches of the same node/section of the plant to compare. Becoming a heavy drinker at about just under 1/2 gal per day. Re-calibrated my PH pen as noticed a few spots coming up and the solution was sitting closer to 5.6. More upgrades would be needed if I would opt for constantly running a DWC system as its proven challenging with limited length air lines etc to pull her out of the short tent to work on her stature. Supercropped numerous times to keep the canopy at a manageable 12” from the light. At 95 Watts it’ll be interesting to see what can be pulled from 5 Gal DWC keeping it simple 2 nutrients, Nova and Calmag ✌️

🎅 So, as for the smoke after 30 days of harvest day. Biscotti Mints have a high concentration of THC, definitely above 25%, you can feel it. Beginners should exercise caution. -The taste, I wouldn't exactly call it mint. It's similar to peppermint, but it doesn't taste like mint, it tastes like flowers. Bottom line, the taste is similar to pepper flowers. -The effect is only evening, not daytime. It will be good for an evening relaxation or in the company of friends. -The appearance is something beautiful. Everyone who saw him liked him. Dense, stone buds, green-violet color.

This week is dedicated to finalizing the pot and nutrients for the rest of the lifecycle, looks like it took to the nutrients very well not much new upwards growth but new leaf sites appeared!

Final month of veg left all are still healthy and bug free ,another 2 weeks and will start flush them and reduce feeds to 1/2 dose then none the last few weeks

One month of flowering is behind us. Another one to go - or so 😎 They are doing mighty fine 💪 Bueautiful overall, tightly stacked colas, healthy leaves 🍃 Most of canopy tops get 1000-1100 PPFD - corners get around 600-ish 🌞 I take a leaf here and there when I see it creating moisture spots or shadowing bud sites too much. Bottom half got lollipopped 🍭 See you in a week 👊

Day 36 - It's week 5 already! The canopy is really gaining height day by day. Tied some more side branches down and adjusted the tie down on the main branch. Day 37 - Trying to figure out the correct watering amount. 1.5L was too much today will lower tomorrow to 1.2L. Day 38 - Plant is looking good today. Adjusted the tie downs on some branches. Watered with 1.3L and run off was still around 350ml so lowering tomorrow to 1.2L. Day 39 - Watering with 1.2L today. There was still no run off, I'm putting this down to the increased fan speeds, longer open tent periods and the plant growing more vegetation. My 2L watering can should arrive today, so I will be able to mix nutrients in one reservoir and water more accurately. Removed 3 of the bottom most fan leaves which had a branch large enough to support itself. Day 40 - Watered with 1.5L today. Removed 1 fan leaf and tied down a side branch. Run off was around 100ml. I also set the fan speed back to 1, as I think 2 was too strong for the plant and dehydration levels of the soil. Day 41 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 400ml (25%). Getting pretty bushy now almost stretching to all sides of the tent. Day 42 - Watered with 1.4L today. Run off was 150ml (10%). She's now 32cm tall with the light hanging 36cm above the highest tips. That brings us to the end of Week 6. It looks like we are a day or two away from starting to flower properly. Bring on Week 7!

FINAL WEEK OF VEG FINAL WEEK OF VEG! Ayyyye let’s gooooooo ! Got a second lollipop done on this girl about 2 or 3 days ago . I did a little damage to a branch that has taken longer than one day to recover . At the time of this update I have yet to check on it again after taping it up to see if it is still limp . I may lose that branch RIP. I decided to take the tape off my other branch I broke while stretching her down under the net a while back figuring it’s been enough weeks for that to scar over . She healed beautifully ! The last of the Mohicans are here ! My new untested ORGANIC base bloom nutrients have arrived via mail today . I have been holding off on positing this update until now 1. to get a good difference in growth 2. To avoid needing to repeat having to defoliate an ADDITIONAL time before flipping to flower . I’m going to do a defoliation light-moderate I don’t think a heavy one is needed but I am a little trigger happy when it comes to defoliation 😂. I plan to do one FINAL MAJOR DEFOLIATION AROUND WEEK 3 FLOWER to try and get an awesome HIGH bud to leaf ratio idk how I keep picking these strains with high leaf to bud ratios I’d like less maintenance as we all would right? Still haven’t figured out what I’ll do with these clones as I don’t want to flower them they’d be trash bud underneath this mother clucker. Don’t forget the new Timelapse I started 2 weeks ago to capture our 5x5 Cereal Milk by RQS Flower up! Lastly I decided against making more clones when I did this second lollipopping sinc so already don’t know what I’m gonna do with the few successful clowns I managed to make from the last experiment. I’m really hoping this resilient girl turns out to be a 🔥DANK PHENO THAT HAS SOME TASTY POTENT BUD bc having a few clones lying around already would be golden. I’ll leave it there. Finally all got rid of their little hats and are looking healthy. TD 3(drooping cotyledon) needed a bit of help so I removed the seed shell with tweezers. Note: The Mycotrex is listed as nutrient because it resides around the shell and than again 10cm below it. 2020-11-12: 1l nutrient solution with 0.5ml of Bia Canna Vega since the soil is Light Mix without any nutrition. I also lowered the light since they were stretching a bit. Light at 25% intensity. 2020-11-14: 300ml ph adjusted water each 2020-11-15: Raised light intensity to 50% 2020-11-17: 300ml ph adjusted water each TD1: 7cm TD2: 5.5cm TD3: 7cm

So far so good... flowering really nice... starting to smell really good... feeding her modestly and going to keep it that way... Fingers crossed 🙏

Day 17 Both girls have been progressing nicely. Nice growth. Removed a male tentmate today. Pots are roughly half weight, may need water tomorrow or the day after. Day 18 Gave then both a neem oil top drench. Switched light schedule to take advantage of cooler night temps and lower electric use cost. Just gotta make sure I can prevent light leaks. (12p to 6p) Day 19 Gave both girls a light top fill of CocoLoco to reduce stretch. Great growth this past week.

Day 15: Watermelon Zkittlez is looking strong. A little discolored but it is early growth and should work itself out. Kind of resembles watermelon rind to me which is quite the coincidence I think. First big feed: 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 2ml CALiMAgic, 1ml RapidStart, 1ml Floralicious Plus and 2.5ml Armor Si. RO water PH 6.0 Temp: 75º RH: 63% PPFD: 450 VPD: .53 kPa Day 16: She's looking about the same with some new leaf growth. I can't tell if she just has funky pigment in her leaves or if there is a deficiency going on. Her leaves look just like watermelon rind! Kind of weird but also maybe genetics. Will leave for now with no adjustments to nutes and see if new growth changes. No water no feed. Temp: 76º RH: 61% PPFD: 475 AVG VPD: .46 kPa Day 17: Happy, healthy, let grow! Applied first LST bend this morning. Should take nicely. Will feed tomorrow. Temp 77º RH: 55 % PPFD: 500 AVG VPD: .6kPa Day 18: Watermelon Zkittlez looks really funky. Something is going on with her but I'm not sure what exactly. There is clear pigmentation issues but again, why? Same nutes as all the other girls who all seem to be thriving. Can't figure it out unless it's genetic. Moved up and turned up the lights. Fed 250ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 575 VPD: .44 kPa Day 19: Looking good. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 20: Still looking good. New growth. Fed another 250ml RO water with 1ml RapidStart PH: 5.7 Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 21: End of Veg Week 3! Looking strong and healthy so far despite the extremely odd leaf colors. Close inspection shows some sort of deficiency or disease but all other ladies are receiving the same nutes in the same soil and grow conditions. All are very healthy. Has to be a genetic flaw in the bean. Will grow it out to see if it persists or corrects. Almost feeding/watering daily at this point, will up the solution volume and see if it will last a day or two longer. Fed 350ml-400ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º.
