Beginning week 9 Plans this week: Make a long time lapse while away this weekend - post more photos too Lollipop Tuck and tie a bit Possibly build a second scrog level?? Thoughts anyone?? Research and purchase or build a “grow room controller” - tent: temp, rh, light(?), co2(?) — rez: ph, ec, temp, water level - maybe more stuff like tie in the cameras, also basement temp and rh, fan and lights and pump contro. Nutrient dosing and ph control would be awesome but likely too pricey— but I’m a geek and this will be fun! I’d prefer a prebuilt system but I’m not totally opposed to building an Arduino/pi style solution (reliability and time to get it right are concerns tho - plus I have an arcade cabinet project I’d like to get to soon) — **ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVICE ANYONE??? To do list: I picked up some angle aluminum and I plan to finally make a single frame for the numerous LED lights Mount things to the wall (temp and humidity sensors, timers, utility light, etc) General cleanup and house keeping - wire management etc Install new portable air conditioner in the basement - this will be a bit of a project - casement windows and other issues Hopefully this week: install a utility sink in the basement and tie into the water lines and waste lines of the house (no more carrying water and waste upstairs!!)

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

The smell is amazing. And amazingly strong. It’s been really humid here and my carbon filter isn’t working well. Few more weeks for the kush. Maybe 3-4 for the cbd Sativa. Getting excited. But as always not looking forward to trim.

This girl was a treat to grow. A little scary when I first broke her branch but she recovered well. She is pungent and quick to stink up a room. Covered in trichomes. I have sifted her trim for kief and it was very flavorful through my vaporizer. She is a couple rh% points away from curing. Can't wait until I get to really smoke/vape and enjoy her. She was so delightful that I decided to do a really slow dry and cure. All is well :)

11 weeks completed! The plants seem healthy and doing their thing. I will be harvesting this week. There is definitely some amber in the trichomes. I gave them a tiny feed mid week since they had seemed to be a little stalled out (first feed in 1.5 weeks). I watered them last night. I'll check the trichomes when I but them to bed in 2 days and see if that is when I'll leave them in the dark for 48 hours and then harvest. If they are still not ready then... I'll water again when I wake them up and then I'll check them 2-3 days after that! Either way, I cannot see this not happening in the next 4-5 days!! Looking forward to harvest!! Plans are already underway for my next grow. Probably going with Seedsman's Strawberry Auto Cheesecake.

I still only feed rainwater every few days if the soil gets dry

I placed the 2 seeds in a damp paper towel and placed it into a closed Tupperware. The tupperware was placed in my stereo cabinet (warmest place I could find) and less than a day taps roots were showing. I then placed them in my humidity dome and within 18hrs I had roots sprouting thru the bottom of the sponge. This has been the best start I have yet to have. I also built a new RDWC system with waterfalls to veg and flower these two in. I have photos and video above on the new tent setup. I have it running with just regular tap water until the seedlings are ready to go in. I have also installed a 90gpd RO system (APEC brand) under my kitchen sink. The water comes out 5.8ph and 7ppm. I will be using this RO water thru the entire grow with some Cal-mag of course. The system holds about 25 gallons total of water. The main res is 17 gallons and the two buckets are 5 gallons. I will no longer be using air stones. I have a recirculating pump in the main res, waterfalls in the buckets and of course the main pump running the whole system. Should be plenty of air for the roots. I used 2 in return pipes in the hopes of avoiding roots clogging the pipes. I scrogged last time but I'm not sure I will be going that route. I might just top and train. I will be doing a major defoliation on one and just simple trimming on the other. I am trying to find out if the risks of stressing the plant are worth the returns. Well wish me luck....and away we go. The end of week 9. This week was a bit of a struggle due to temperatures. Airco was missing and a replacement was found after a week. The increasing temperatures caused heat stress to all four plants and slowed growth. The buds are now starting to mature and ripen. The fade is starting now. The trichomes are still underdeveloped with 50% cloudy and 50% translucent. EC will be lower again this week. I'm hoping it will be ready before day 80.
