Week 7 Flower Let the Flush commence! 💦 Both girls started flush on Day 41. Twin2 is definitely finishing sooner than Twin1, but as they've both been tested the same, they'll both be taken down on the same day after a 14+ day flush. We're having a rise in heat in my area so it's interesting to see how each pheno reacts. Twin2 seems to be showing slightly more heat stress, by shooting a few fox tails, but at this size it's only a good thing 😉 I've also only just found a new trait being expressed on both twins, but much more consistently on Twin1, and that's the double serrated leaves you can see in the photo's. It doesn't mean or affect anything, it just a cool trait 🍁 I run approx 30+ltr water through each pot each time they're flushed. Before doing so I check the ppm and pH value of the run off from each pot and take records. To do this, I gently pour a few litres in the centre of the pot until a sufficient amount has drained into the tray below. This can then be tested with your TDS/EC pen and pH pen. I still use Activated EM1 (EMA) throughout flush at 1ml/ltr because microbes are always a benefit. Once stretched/activated it goes a very long way so if I don't use it throughout flush, then it may go over it's 6-8week shelf life. They're both looking great and still filling up. Both twins are coated in trichomes and have their own distinctive smells. They both smell very floral; Twin2 smells a lot sweeter, but Twin1 has a more earthy, almost gassy kind of smell to her that's just as nice. These girls are definitely not making my choice any easier yet! Looking forward to seeing them fade. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Missed a day of watering but still looking like they are building proper buds first indoor grow I'd say is going good so far should be starting to flush my mid week on the black domina x Scott's og supposed to be a 7-9 week flowering time but not positive on when to start flush with Coco coir. Remo claims 7 days so I guess we shall see how it looks beginning of week 8.

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

So we are in week 2 of flower I ran out of Dutch pro and my hydro shop didn't have any in stock so I had to swap to canna 450ml A&B I've also added some bud blood. So today I did some defoliation to anything below my scrog net and tucked some of the bigger fan leaves to expose the new bud sites. I also raised my light a few inches to allow the ladies to grow into it. 21/5/21 The girls are growing fast I did some defoliation 2 days ago and I had to repeat today 26/5/21 Took some fan leaves off that where blocking bud sites only a small handful needed to be removed, I gave them a feed ppm 946 ph 6.3, bud sites are looking nice and healthy I've got plenty of air flow throughout my tent, have yet to notice any aroma but still very early days. Day 65, 17th of November 2020 Happiness! Streching has stopped creating my buds. (Seems to be doing it). I am waiting for the red colour to be appeared.... hopefully soon she rewards me with that too. Looking strong and nice I am happy. Only thing to do is to wait ✋ Some lollipopping (defoliation) has been done and also removed all the old LST's as the plant remains in shape from now. Fertilization is still the same like before happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

It’s the first day of week 7. The nugs are swelling up nice considering what they have been through. They are starting to smell strong. Both plants smell completely different. Even tho they are the same strain and from the same pack of seeds. If you have an idea of what’s going on with my fan leaves let me know.

good week, they are flowering beautifully and there's no much smell until now. I saw some brown pistils and I'm wondering what's happening.. I'll keep monitoring them and this week I'll improve tro coolers to down the temperature

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Day 50 - The entire tent is now filled up. Humidity is slightly higher than ideal but she looks happy. Moved the fan a bit higher to get more top canopy air circulation. Day 51 - Keep on growin' Day 52 - Pot was pretty light and dried out this morning after a couple of windy warm days in my area. Watered the usual 2L with run off of 170ml (9%). After gaining 3.5cm per day over the last 3 days, she was getting a bit too close to the light. - I moved the light up with 13cm today to be 30cm above the top most flower. Day 53 - Run off today was only 150ml(7.5%). I did some bottom defoliation removing small flower branches and leaves coming to the end of life. This cleared up some of the bottom for better watering access and definitely better airflow. Day 54 - Humidity in my area has dropped a bit leaving the room around 47% and inside the tent around 52%. Still a bit high but with her being so big in the 2x2 I pretty much have to keep the tent open at all times. Installed a second fan today to increase ventilation and try lower humidity. I've got one blowing over the top canopy and one circles around off the walls. Day 55 - Had both fans running overnight, seems to have gone ok. I have each fan pointed at a wall now this seems to make for the best all over ventilation without too much direct blow on the plant. Day 56 - That's the end of Week 7! The flower stretch this week has been pretty crazy. After raising the light she's exploded in height. Run off was 120ml (6%) today - this might be because of the double fans drying her out a bit more but also her size of course needing more water.

She looks well with her leaves fading the Double Kush Cake is still holding up in the latter stage. Her trichrome bracts are swelling up nicely and her stigmas are beginning to dull off. The lady received no nutrients for the last two weeks to prepare for her final flush. She stands at approximately 60cm from the soil!

so far I'm only feeding them with destilated water day4: unfortunately the 4th seed grew the other way around I carefully moved it over without touching it directly day5: 24hours later it looks a little sad but I think it will get over it. the other 3 are perfectly fine and achieved a height of 7cm so far I'm watering every 2 days approximately 200ml desolated water day6: on day 2 after operation the 4th one is growing and starting to look healthy , them step is even thicker than the other 3 had at that height I think. gonna leave the cup on it of another day probably and depending on how it looks tomorrow I will take it off day7: Plants looking healthy so far, 4th one is recovering nicely day8: The 3 are growing healthy and number 2 and 3 are already showing their second pair of leaves and I think it's safe to say number 4 recovered and is now back on track:) day9: Today I put 400ml of water on the three bigger ones but on the outer area to water the soil overall without pouring 400ml directly on the Plant, number 4 is getting on track and is growing nicely after the beginning problems she had. day10: I was a bit worried since number 2 rolled their first 2 Leaves a little bit but I was told they will drop of anyway and not tot worry about them too much. besides that they are all growing nicely. day11: Last day of week 1 and so far everything is going very well.

Hello guys and welcome to week 9! Today my dehumidifier broke so I have to keep the tend open during the day. But for now everything is going smothely. The EC is pretty high at roughly 2.4. I will bring it down to 1.3 until the end of the week. I‘m ipressed how big the buds are getting even tho they aren‘t maturing yet. But I’m not familiar with this strain so we’ll see whats going to halpen. I hope I don‘t get mold issues later on so I‘ll keep a close eye on the humidity. Vamos familia, actualizamos la novena semana de floración de estas Thunder Banana de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor, cambié el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y también apliqué una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las flores han tricomado que da miedo, no sé si aguantaré una semana más o me las quito ya, veremos el finde semana. Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas , y van repletas de resina, tienen tonos por dentro muy bonitos, y tiene un aromas dulces y afrutados. The plants officially entered the explosive period of the growth. They're absolutely loving life, and despite the overexposed colour in the photos their green is absolutely healthy. They are growing low and bushy, which is perfect because I want to mainline all of them At the end of week 3 the plants are almost ready for the first topping, as you can see they doubled in size in just 3 days.
