Got the plants out from the nursery early this year, summer 2020 is unusually warm. Grown outdoors no nutrients just tap water (about 1Gal/day) on the days with no rain... usually around noon when I can see them sag and the weather forecast doesn't predict rain for the rest of the day. I add Terpinator (30mL/Gal) when I water manually. •This week, since they're in full bloom and the weather cooperates (plants are outside and shouldn't rain for at least the next 24h) I will give them a dose of SuperThrive... 2020 was an exceptionally warm summer in Quebec. Seeded on May 20th Sprouted on May 23rd Kept in nursery (watered with tap water + B1 vitamin (3ml/L) until Transplanted outside June 16th Bloomed August 19th No Technique applied, she grows as she feels the needs. Did a lot of training and defoliation. I will move her into a bigger tent now as shes about to start flowering hopefully by end of next week 😍. Will also be using scrog net and will add Bud Candy along with the other nutrients : PH perfect Micro,Grow, Bloom

Week 5 of flowering for the three ladies went well. A couple of the hairs started turning orange and shriveling. Tricomb production is looking grand, smell just continues to grow stronger and stronger. Stinking the whole house up even with a 4” carbon filter and fan constantly scrubbing the closet. Ph fell down to the lower 6.1-6.2, plants started yellowing and loosing older fan leaves, could have something to do with them Inching closer to harvest time, also probably has something to do with the slight ph drop, either way sugar leaves, new growth, and bud is all thriving so as long as the problem doesn’t continue to get server I’m not worried about the plant using up nutrients and offing some at this point in time useless lower fan leaves. Popsicle cake is giving off a straight gas/diesel fuel smell. The tallest unknown plant is solid lemons and Kush, and the middle sized unknown plant has a semi sweet but yet gassy aroma coming off her. Very exciting leading into week 6 of flower!

8/12 day 64 plants in smaller pots suffer a bit from nutrient deficiency. Living soil seems to fit better in large setups, anyways they will be feeded with tap water only until i chop them.

Week 2 of flower roughly and all plants have begun the shift to cotton balls. Except for the males of course but, they’re grown som hefty sacks also😉. As it turns out we have 3 males, not 2. That might present an option to harvest pollen off one of em to actually save for future use. We’ll see how it goes. Other than that - all plants are performing generally well. Certainly we’ll enough to make some seed babies so let’s get to it. I figure nuts start bust’n in about 2 weeks or so yall! Giddy up and slap dat ass - we gotta make ourselves some bit ‘o awesome😎. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

sorry for the lack of updates for this third week of flowering , personnal issue , some was very very thursty at some point but no big deal everything is ok :) . in about 10 day i throw my old smartphone for a brand new wich can record in 2K/4K we are done with poor vid quality :D

Gorilla cookies is a great beginner plant. I had my humidifier too close to GC early on causing rust spots. Week 6 there is no signs of rust spots and growth is consistent with the bigger plants in the tent. I was thinking this plant maybe behind given the rust spots, it caught right up, healthy hardy strain.

Although these plants might look small for 7 weeks old, it's because of the way I've been training them, to grow horizontally & all the H.S.T I've performed to get a really strong, thick structure & also as I've had to manage the height as they will be in veg until the plants in flower are finished & I can transfer them & start flowering. Continue tying branches down as they grow & separate growth tips. Also defoliate leaving only top growth as this will be removed later anyway. Very hardy plants that have handled all the H.S.T & my accidental abuse with no worries. Very thick strong branching. Finished training & now letting them grow upwards to get a bit of size before they get put to flower. Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. The heating mat works perfectly in the small tent and the parameters are all in the optimal range 🙏🏻👍. Now we hope that everything stays that way and that the cold days will slowly pass :-) . Harvest report for strawberry gorilla. Breaking ground to harvest was 84 days. Wet weight was 241 grams Dry weight =51g Power used for 12 weeks. 246.3Kw used on lighting. £73.89 at £0.30 a Kw Average 2.932 Kw a day =146 Watts power an hour during lights on. Dry weight from this grow. #1 49g #2 37g #3 46g #4 39g #5 51g #6 52g Total 273g True g/W = 273÷146=1.87g/W This was one great grow and there are a few strains I'm really considering running again straight away. I have run this strain twice now and will do again in the future. She has grown decent solid buds absolutely coated in trichomes. One thing I have learnt during this grow is that the idea of cramming 9 autos into my tent was a stupid idea and trialling it with 6 plants was wise.

Day 74. One more victim of war against bud rot. Prevention needs sacrifices sometimes... Day 78. Second was sacrificed for more space too ;))) Day 84. First girl is Jared . Fantastic bud quality !!! Day 88. I said fantastic quality about first one ??? ;))) That's till I touched second !!! Purple phenotype is pure joy for eyes !!! Happy Growing !!!
