Start of Week 2 day 2 of flower!! These girls are stretching and starting to stack bud sites. My little sour diesel is doing her best to reach that canopy with the others, she aint showing alot of sites at the moment but im hoping after stretch and defoliation I can get more to pop. I decided to upgrade my light and now have a SE4500 450w on the way. From what I had researched Id like to be getting 1000ppfd in the center and then around 600-700 on edges I picked up some stashblend and real growers recharge and added it to my water as a compost tea today and will be implementing that in the watering per the plant needs . My biggest fear doing organics is getting behind on the food for these girls. I plan to top dress with worm castings, gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 and power bloom 2-8-4 every 3 weeks during flower, and then about the 4 week of flower I will be using more power bloom than all purpose to avoid too much nitrogen. My biggest thing I been going back and forth on is when to defoliate. I dont wanna start removing abunch of leaves and force my plant to recover during the stretch rather than making bud sites. I figure once it is done stretching completely I am going to lollipop and remove all branches/larf and leaves under the canopy. feel free to comment, provide tips, suggestions im open to all as im still new and learning Thanks for looking and happy growing!!

5 weeks of flower complete and its still a jungle in there despite the heavy defoliation. Too early to tell, but this defo may be a great tool, or it could be a flop. Hello everyone week 6 has passed 😎 I’ve spotted a « true » hermie for the Biscotti Mintz from Barneys Farm,pollen sac & female flower😌i ve posted a photo if it can help🤓 For the others girls they are very well growing at fast pace and with a beautiful green colour on the leaves🤩 For the nutrient my homemade fertiliser 100% bio,now for the flowering stage its Symphytum officinal & banana peel super rich in potassium,phosphorus,boron & macro nutrients ⚡️ For the light schedule they spend 12 hours outside full of sunlight☀️ Some LST🔗 I will force the plants to flower in my garage 100% lightproof😎 So every morning and every night i remove all the plants from my garage at the same hours 💪

Alright, it's the end of week 2 veg and we're starting to take off! Have you ever seen a plant with the mutation mine has? She doesn't have a main stalk lol but instead has two! Plus her fan leaves are looking a bit screwy lol. I'm a fan of mutated cannabis though and love to see how they do so she's definitely staying around. I'm not a big auto grower myself so I don't have that high of expectations but I'm sure these ladies will look great once they get another week or two under their belts. We're continuing the alfalfa Ferment from Growing Organic (discount code CollinT), these girls have craft blend mixed into their medium so we won't be top dressing until late veg early flower. Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. 1st week of flower went great! I'm in the stretching stage so they're growing like weeds 😆 Now slowing down on nitrogen (N) and giving them girls some phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). Every time i bend the down, they stand right back up within 12 hrs! So... Overall i think they're doing nicely.

Week 7 update on these beautiful ladies. They're progressing perfect and swelling on a daily basis. Wild to see the colas change from day to day. Some are a lot frostier then others but they all have that amazing fruit, sweet, and pungent terp. All in all Happy

What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!
