5/28/24 oh damn baby, this cultivar is gonna be colorful 6/2 plant is still throwing out pistils but also chunking up quite nicely. I tried to create just mainly top colas. In description she should have a 3-5 nodal colas with disconnected nugs underneath that. But I only ended up with 3 node colas give or take but with maybe 2 more weeks if veg would've given me larger branches and bigger cola structure and can always cut the larfy.

The girls are doing great and continue to grow vigorously. Fortunately, the heat wave is over, but I decided to split them into two separate rooms to make better use of the light. I also added another lamp in Cheese and Pineapple's room to illuminate the darker area because they have both grown huge!

Passion Fruitz by Zamnesia Week 5 | The Lone Survivor Begins Her Journey Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! Every diary in this project tells a different story, and today’s update belongs to one of the most unique plants in the room. Meet Passion Fruitz. The only survivor from her seed pack. Sometimes growing reminds us that nature doesn’t always follow our plans. Not every seed germinates, not every seedling makes it through the first few days, and sometimes a single plant ends up carrying the hopes of an entire variety. Fortunately… She chose to fight. And she’s proving that determination can be every bit as important as speed. ⸻ 🌱 The Journey So Far For anyone joining this diary for the first time, welcome! This entire project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed method. Instead of giving the plants an extended vegetative period before flowering, every seed has remained under a constant 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness since germination. The objective is simple: Allow every phenotype to reveal its natural growth pattern while comparing how different genetics respond under identical environmental conditions. Every plant receives the same room… The same lighting… The same climate… The same care. Yet every single one develops its own personality. Passion Fruitz is certainly doing exactly that. ⸻ 🌿 Small in Size… Big in Character Compared to some of the larger ladies sharing the room, Passion Fruitz is definitely taking a slower approach. At around 25 cm tall, she’s currently one of the most compact plants in the entire project. She’s a few days behind some of the other genetics, but that’s perfectly normal. Every cultivar develops at its own pace, and this one has clearly decided that patience is part of her strategy. Rather than stretching aggressively, she’s building herself from the inside out. Short internodes. Dense branching. Compact growth. Everything about her suggests she’s focusing on creating a strong foundation before making her move. Sometimes the slow starters become the biggest surprises later on. ⸻ 🍃 Beautiful, Healthy Growth One thing that immediately stands out is the quality of her foliage. Her leaves are absolutely beautiful. Rich green colour. Excellent turgor. Compact node spacing. Healthy new growth continues to emerge from every growing tip, giving the plant a very balanced appearance despite her smaller stature. Looking closely at the newest growth, it’s easy to see she’s gathering momentum. She’s quietly preparing for the next chapter. ⸻ 💧 Feeding for Steady Progress Although she’s smaller than many of her neighbours, her feeding strategy follows the same philosophy used throughout this project. The nutrient solution has been carefully balanced to support healthy root development while providing everything needed for vigorous vegetative growth. Current feeding includes: • Terra Grow • Power Roots • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • pH adjustment for optimal nutrient uptake Rather than pushing rapid growth, the goal is consistency. Healthy roots always build healthy plants. ⸻ 🌡️ The Environment Behind the Growth Like every plant in this room, Passion Fruitz benefits from a carefully controlled environment. Current conditions include: • Day temperature: 31.1°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 67.7% • Solution temperature: 25°C • Root zone: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 636 ppm Maintaining stable environmental conditions allows genetics—not environmental stress—to dictate how each phenotype develops. That makes comparisons between plants much more meaningful. ⸻ 📷 This Week’s Gallery This week’s photographs document every stage of her development. Studio portraits highlight her compact structure and beautifully symmetrical canopy. Close-up images reveal healthy new growth emerging from every node, while overhead shots showcase how dense and balanced the plant has become. I’ve also included updates from the grow room itself so everyone following this adventure can continue seeing not only the individual plants, but also the environment they’re growing in. Even though she’s currently one of the smallest ladies in the room, she certainly doesn’t lack personality. ⸻ 🔮 Looking Ahead I’m genuinely excited to see how Passion Fruitz develops over the next few weeks. I have a feeling she’s simply operating on her own schedule. As her roots continue expanding and the plant settles completely into the container, I expect her growth rate to increase significantly. Sometimes the most rewarding plants are the ones that ask us to be patient. I’m not judging her by where she is today. I’m looking forward to discovering where she’ll be a month from now. And something tells me she still has a few surprises waiting for us. ⸻ 💚 Thank You Thank you so much for following another chapter of this 8×8 Adventure. Every diary tells a unique story, and that’s exactly what makes this project so rewarding to document. A huge thank you to: 💚 GrowDiaries for providing a fantastic platform where growers from around the world can share knowledge, learn together, and celebrate the journey. Zamnesia for providing the genetics that make this phenotype hunt possible. 🌱 Plagron for supplying the nutrition supporting every stage of growth. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering the light powering this entire project. 🌿 TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable, carefully controlled environment day after day. And finally, thank you to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, sharing advice, and joining me throughout this adventure. Whether a plant becomes the biggest in the room or the smallest survivor fighting her own battle, every one deserves her own story. Growers Love and Passion Fruitz has only just begun writing hers. 🌱💚

Sorry for the late post had a very busy period. The buds are great, good feedback from patients. First time I've been able to taste a fully organic bud and I can say I won't be going back!

Day 36. One more heavy training session. Girls drink every day a liter at least, have to water them every 2-3 days and its good !! They got second wave of food , lost almost all oldest fan leaves and i think ill drop my plank to 80 g and will flower them next week. Still never cracked is it better to clear bottoms before flip or with first wave of defoliation during flower. This time i'll lolipop them in flower. In middle of last week found some mold on one leave - no waiting and hesitation - Biobizz LeafCoat applied ! Now can't find even smallest issue in them , pure perfectness !!! Still think 10 girls is too much for my setup to bush them out, but i just can't throw away any plant ;)))) Damn - lesson for life !! Leave branches alone after watering !!! Itchy fingers and smallest plant have only 7 proper branches left, thought to move one a bit ... ;))) Girls respond to training and food amazingly - late eves video is a proof ! Day 41. They just fly, thickness of branches is just amazing, leaves regrow faster than i pull them ;))) Today all girls will get bottoms cleaned and heavily defoliated, all tops will be HST'ed and i have power cut next tuesday, so monday - lights out for 24 hours of darkness, wednesday - flower starts ! Had to reposition them and bring in one more drain tray. Attack scheme still 2-3-3-2 ;))) All Blue Dreams hated it, loads of supercroping, one stem split, but it looks like all is finalised for flowering ! Girls got Great White Mycorrhizae tea. Next pure water, later Molasses and only then updated feed, Root Juice out, Bloom and Heaven 2x , all plans and changes ... Happy Growing !

Okay. So she stopped packing on weight right after her first real weight gain. Bad salt build up within the soil, ph off from 6.2 to 7.2 run off. Going to add recharge or some compost tea on next grow to help with that. Also, I think I could have gotten away with giving less nutrients. She smells amazing. Smells like trash from a far but as soon as you touch her, her aroma opens up to the fruitiest scent I have ever smelled! Another odd thing which might have to do with genetics. Many of the buds are hanging off to the right side of the stem. Like they have grown to one side of the stem and look like they are about to fall off. Mayne this had something to do with her not getting much bigger than she has? See last few photos and video. About a week or two left. Last feed a few days ago. Water from here on out.

Day 64 - The start of week 10 and decided against defoliating and just tucked all the leaves in the middle instead. I’ll still pluck some here and there when needed. Buds are getting nice and fat and still has some decent time to fatten up even more. Day 65 - Ended up having to give her 2 gallons of water today, she’s starting to drink a lot. Buds are still fattening up nicely and smell is strong as hell. Day 67 - Not much happening, just watering/feeding when she needs it and doing a little light defoliating every couple of days. She should be ready for water tomorrow. Day 68 - All still good and she was ready for water and nutes so she got 2 full gallons today. This might be her last actual feeding of nutes before starting to flush but I’ll see how she is over the next week or so. Day 69 - Just some updated pics for the day, nothing new happening. Waiting for the pistils to start dying off but no real sign of that yet. Day 70 - Ending week 10 today and she’s got some fat and stinky buds. Haven’t really started looking at trichs since all her pistils are still bright white and healthy. Hopefully she’ll start winding down here in the next couple of weeks.

Hello growers, starting another week. Weeks 2, 3 and 4 are gone, now I close the application of BIG BUD and continue only with BIG CANDY and SENSI BLOOM. I would like to ask a question with you, I know that the days to start the flush would be the 15 days before the harvest but which week should I start? I would be very grateful if you would help me commenting below. Gratitude family!!! 🙏 Day 62 - Hello growers, day 62 showing a video of how she is. Would you like your help, when should I get this girl's flush? In the seed information it says that her lifespan is 75 days to be ready, I see her I think I will spend a little more than 75 days, but let's wait for the next episodes.
