Day 36 Stretching has slowed but not stopped. 28-29” today. Feeding 3L per plant now. The orange haze seems to be flawless, the other 2 needing a little extra calmag and N, but early flower can be expected. Humidity holding at around 50-55% little higher than I want but plenty of air blowing inside and strong extraction, so no problem. Would like to see the bud sites fill out over the next few weeks, before swelling. White pistils everywhere very exciting to see these blossom. Lovely mild fruity smell already from the tent. Day 38. Heavy feed on day 37 including big bud added to the nutrients, nute burn on one off the plants which I think I’m gonna flush soon, and maybe a slight N deficiency and calmag still on the other 2. Stretching looks to have stopped, Bud sites filling out nicely now Day 41 Left the pots 24 hours too long and the extra thirsty girls caught me out with the soil being drier than the desert and leafs soft and droopy as a result. With a slow heavy feed following this, they are back to their healthy self’s overnight. Lesson learnt - check daily. Drinking 3L every 1.5-2 days now.

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

Finally flushing her. Her nugs are so dense and so frosty and she smells like vanilla and coffee. I can definitely tell this is going to be one of those strains you need to smoke at night before bed. I plan on harvesting this Friday.

result for the first one: after 7 days of drying, a cleaning of the last leaves, and by removing the branches, I obtain 51g dry; for a first session in cocot, I hoped 100g with my 2 plants; this one thus made its job. just barely. 😉 2 weeks to go before I know if the other one will do better 👌

NYC Diesel Auto (Was Hey Abby) W20 F9 2/1-7 New York City Diesel is ready for harvest. I plan to harvest this weekend, time permitting. I flushed her with 5.5 gal of water since 1/24. Not as much as I would have liked. 2/5 trichome pics show a moderate amount of amber but in some colas, nearly 80%. This maturation was very fast as I was planning for the 15th. Given the amount of amber now showing, I have grown past what I prefer for maturity, this will now lean more indica. We had our first big snow this week following a light dusting last week. Weeeeeeeeeek 12🤠 So we're getting cold mornings, days are still sunny and worm She's a real beauty, I love how she looks❤️ I did some re-tying, so she has a realy flat and even canopy (you can't see that on the photos) and found what has been eating my leaves, cute but annoying🤠 I've also tied some string to the branch wires so it all grows level with the ground And you can see, on the last photo, the tiny trichomes starting to cover the leaves🤠 I've watered her with 20L of water, ph 7.2 because of my bad soil Also soon in the next week or two I'll start making my drying box, hopefully my plants won't die before harvest😁🤠 Looks like that's it for this week, it was a good week in terms of growing, so I'll see you next week!🤠

Plant#1 is 3 inches, looking healthy, its beginning to take up a little more water Sunday June 28 i saw a big growth in the plant. Things I learned this week, - I am beginning to notice when plants are ready for Lights off - learned how to test soil

One of the plants is budding nicely, I think the seeds were mixed as one is small and theres still two plants that aren't budding yet, other than that plants seem to be growing well, the plant that's budding smells Diesely/Sour with a bit of citrus [Not classing the growdiary as flowering yet as only one of the plants is flowering at the moment] I've also added some rope to some of the branches to pull them towards the ground and further into the light, will update with pictures when I next go water them The training seems to be having an effect already and some of the trained branches are growing upwards now

🌱 Day 8 – Reaching Higher The seedlings stretched a bit today, so I lowered the SF2000 Pro to keep them compact. They’re vigorous and full of energy, even if a little taller than I’d like. From his sunbathing spot, Mr_Barkside smirked at me (yes, dogs can smirk): “Told you they’d stretch. Should’ve listened to me.” He’s enjoying this way too much. 🌱 Day 9 – Little Personalities By now, each plant is clearly doing its own thing. Some race upward, others stay bushy. All healthy, all green. Mr_Barkside stuck close today, though his “contribution” was questionable. Let’s just say the tent got an unexpected wave of dog farts. His excuse (in my head): “Organic CO₂ boost. You should thank me.” Not exactly the kind of supplement I had in mind. 🌱 Day 10 – Strong Foundations Ten days in, the seedlings are rooted and confident. Leaves are broad, stems are strong, and the foundation for the grow feels set. The Purple Haze ladies are definitely on their way. Mr_Barkside sat beside me, unusually calm, watching the plants like a philosopher in deep thought. Then he gave me this look that clearly said: “Growing strong… but imagine how much stronger they’d be if I had some cool merch to wear while supervising.” He’s not wrong – everything feels better with style. For now, his imaginary Zamnesia hoodie remains a dream, but it doesn’t stop him from being the most loyal (and best-dressed in his mind) grow partner around. 🌱 Day 11 – Roots on the Move The first roots started peeking out from the bottom of the pots. That’s always a good sign – proof the plants are spreading their foundation below the surface. For now, they’ll stay in their pots a little longer until everything is nicely colonized. Mr_Barkside tilted his head while I checked the roots, as if to say: “They’re growing paws, just like me. Give them a few more days.” 🌱 Day 12 – Building Momentum Each plant showed progress – leaves spreading wider, stems getting firmer. The color deepened into a rich green, a clear sign they’re comfortable. Mr_Barkside sat in front of the tent like a wise coach, calm and observant: “Patience, human. They’re doing fine.” 🌱 Day 13 – Filling Out The difference from a few days ago was noticeable. Some plants stretched a little taller, others stayed compact, but the overall group looked strong. The tent feels fuller, more alive. Mr_Barkside took his “inspection round” very seriously today, sniffing every corner of the tent before giving me the approving nod. 🌱 Day 14 – Young Plants, Not Seedlings By now, they no longer look like fragile seedlings. Broader fan leaves, thicker stems, and the first signs of branching make them look like proper young Purple Haze plants. The GoPro timelapse is capturing every little movement. Mr_Barkside sat like a foreman in front of the tent, giving me the vibe: “Symmetry’s good. Keep it up.”

Everything was great!! I loved growing my plant. It grows so fast and tge best part was smoking it. I hope to grow much more next time. I am buying a bigger light and hopefully next time I will have more buds and bigger.

Both clones are Hermi they have had low stress at most havent a clue to why they turned hermi there momma was female 100 percent .ive managed to find all bulbs over 20 throught the plants and plucked them out last week but today i found 2 open male flowers pinched them off tightly hoping not to spread or let any pollin get airborn .Crossing my fingers i havent missed any male parts . Other than that these plants got over 5' tall durring the stretch .only expected them to reach 4' must be because they turned hermi there going to produce alot of long fat buds if i can keep the male flowers from opening its alot to monitor so probably impossible to do so but ive got to try' The june heat of summer is brutal cant keep my day temp under82 and when it does my rh goes up to 59 only have a swamp cooler and it doesnt get under 79 in the room outside the tent so my lights run at night and go dark during the hottest time of day wich is 80 at best for july and auga😡st are my worst months without A/C its 105 outsid now and will climb to 120+ in aug. ill be lucky if theres any trycombs left by mid july when its ready to harvest .
