May 4: nice spring day so the plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but mostly in the small greenhouse to stay warm out of direct sun. Still spraying with water to make up for low humidity, but also starting to water soil in a circle around the plant. Using Monster Maxx this year. Used last year in my compost tea and the root balls were very dense and intricate so it seems to work as advertised. Will still be mostly used for compost tea but also according to label direction of 2 mL/L once a week. May 5: mixing soil and sorting out grow bags for this year. Putting some spruce cones in the bottom to ensure air gets to the roots at the bottom. Indoor growers often use clay balls for this apparently but I’ve got lots of spruce cones handy and they’ll do the trick. May 6: looking good with all three looking very similar at this early stage. May 7: looking good. Room temp could be higher but oh well. May 9: beautiful warm spring day so I decided to transplant the chosen seedling into the final container. This is the whole flowering cyclus posted in one week.

I am getting a noticeable smell now in my tent. To put it into perspective, it smells like someone is smoking weed in my tent all day. I am also giving the girls spring water, as our water is fairly hard and full of chlorine and they are coming on great. It's a little bit expensive but I'm finding the end justifies the means. I have started LST too. Perhaps a bit late but she is responding really well. By far this is the most enjoyable grow.

Defoliation definitely happened. She was getting very bushy. However, it's hard for me to NOT defoliate LOL. I want to see her true colors. I'm hoping my swollen nodes isn't telling me it's the opposite sex from seed..

Die Schwester hinkt zwar kräftig hinterher wegen ihrem Wasserschaden, aber zum Rauchen allemal gut . Leichte Cal-Mag Probleme werden sichtbar . Kein defizit, ergo , es wird nur rest Dünger in der Erde abgebaut. 🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Day 14. Bent her over with pipe cleaners as usual. Day 16. Removed 1 leaf to expose bud sites. Continuing LST. Day 18. Long and lean compared to the other strains I'm running. Makes for easy training.

She’s finished!!! Heading into my “dying” process. She received her last 18hrs of light. 6hours of darkness then 1hr of light. Pot is completely dry. Next is 72 hrs of darkness in pot. Edit* posted photos following first 72hrs. Next is 72 hrs of dark in water/SLF-100.

Finally chopped down and harvested. My best plant yet and that was all thanks to homegrown genetics for these killer genetics. If you haven't tried this guy yet, I absolutely beg you to. You will not be disappointed The Terps are straight Dank Ripe Black Cherry, that Superboof orange rind/hashy funkiness, and sum really nice earthy hash notes from the Pure Michigan. All comes together and almost reminds me of a really deep earthy cherry pie with a very slight Superboof orange influence. Very black cherry/Cherry Candy heavy. But not traditional "candy" you see now days. All around 10/10, I will be running Apple Junky and Garlic Applez next!

Haze sisters are looking lush. Masses of vibrant fresh clean growth, though no sign of buds yet, as we enter second week of 12/12 light cycle and first week of PK boost feeding. This week, chopped away a lot (dozens) of shoots lower down the plants, leaving around 6-8 main stems. Daily feeding increased markedly: well over a litre of water, 5-10 ml of Liquid Oxygen, 5-10 ml of Hydro Bloom feed, few drops of PH Down. Plus, once per week: 13ml of PK Boost, 13ml of Liquid Silicon. EC levels a bit higher now: 1400-1550 uS/cm. I've let the PH rise a little, usually 5.8ish rising to 6.2ish through each day.

Both of them Purple Punch sprouted. Surprised me that, within 24hours in glass of water she showed her root. Will let her veg from now on, as for this grow i am experimenting a fully organic grow without big-bud. Damn it big bud, i wish you are organic hahaha🙃. As for the soil, i doubt there is enough nutes for her to grow so i am going to top dress with bat guano.

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time!
