Sometimes I get into trouble because it contradicts general feeding idea. But DWC cultivation is not something that can be done by old habbits or toughts. The plant clearly shows what it wants. 2500 ppm 5.8 stable. day73: She is happy I am too:D day74: She drunk 8lt. yesterday ppm raised to 3500 and ofcourse ph dropped to 4.7. I fixed it to 2200ppm and 5.8 ph. day75: so stable day76: without any drama :D

I cannot believe how bushy she is! Very very short internode length. I'm wondering if I have an indica dominant plant? 😭 But anyway, she is doing her thing this week. She only grew 9cm this week. Nutrients this time are 20-20-20 NPK powdered fertiliser I'm trying this time around. About 1.2 grams mixed with 10L of water makes ~1000ppm. My clean water alone is ~350ppm of that. I do have a CO2 bag generator thing... It's not doing a lot though. My CO2 meter reads barely over 400ppm.........

Test # 4 has another strain name of those catchy ones, explosive characteristics, a scary genetic line. The name is true we can't wait to reveal it to you so much that it is beautiful but... time to time first the important things, let's grow the plant, see if you like it and then talk to dad, see to believe. For now I have put the fertilizer to root and some special enzymes that transform the residues of previous plants into nourishment....perfect I would say to renew the soil at best. Never stop at the first good results guys always improve is fuel for the next day, to keep the passion alive and have results. Growing Projects ----- I want to grow a plant simply straight to keep the main cola and the other with a topping x16 buds and various LST. All in 11 liter pots except one of about 20. It is always a major sacrifice to give up the Main Cola. I transplanted the Blackberry Kush a little early so it could start benefitting from the auto watering. For my grow set up I am not worried about overwatering, and I think the root development will be just fine in my tall, 2.5g pots. I will keep dialing up the nutrients carefully, as the Blackberry Kush is showing some minor development issues which I hope will self resolve (the Fastbuds Blackberry is doing great in the same conditions). I will have a lot more updates during the week, happy growing everyone and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot where drainage will be needed the most. Day 12: I lowered lights to 20 inches which is my vegitative growth hanging height generally. Thanks to those who responded to my grow question regarding this plant's leaf deformaties, the general consensus was that if the other parameters are good and this is the only plant showing symptoms it is likely genetic. This is also what I have suspected, as the only other plant I have had display these characteristics was a Black Cream almost a year ago grown with a completely different growing style. That plant grew alright (although slightly behind it's peers) so I hope this one can do well once it starts taking off! Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

Watering: trying not to overwater – this week they averaged about 600 ml/day. They received two feedings at EC 0.6 and 0.8. Airflow: keeping the fan strong at this stage so the stems are always working. I’ll keep this going until the first pistils show. Stay tuned – and keep growing 🌱

É stato il mio primo ciclo di coltivazione e purtroppo ho fatto molti errori che mi serviranno da esperienza. Ho sbagliato inizialmente la distanza della lampada e le piccole si sono allungate troppo, poi ho iniziato LST forse troppo presto e non sono riuscito a orientare bene i rami per farle crescere tutte alla stessa altezza infatti alcuni fiori sono proprio piccolo rispetto ad altri, altro errore quello di non misurare il PH e questo mi ha portato ad avere inizialmente carenze di fosforo e potassio per poi continuare con calcio. Ho sbagliato le dosi di fertilizzanti che dal prossimo ciclo alzerò per provare ad avere risultati maggiori in termini di quantità e infine come ultimo errore riconosco di aver iniziato il flush troppo presto (17 giorni di flush) quando avrei potuto dargli almeno ancora un’altra irrigata di fertilizzanti per far gonfiare i fiori. Nonostante tutto sono contento ed é stato molto divertente e istruttivo, ora le piante stanno seccando e poi le passerò in concia per provare finalmente il sapore. Ho fatto una pesata a umido solo di una pianta perché tutte e due insieme non ci stavano ma credo sia sballata come misurazione quindi peserò direttamente a secco. A secco sono risultati puliti 68g, ho fatto una concia di 3 settimane e il sapore é davvero buono. Sballo da divano, molto potente come effetto. Sono molto soddisfatto

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

Another fast update! 😃 Hey guys! I hope everything is going well for everyone. This is the 2nd week of flower and I'm here again to share what happened last week! My babies now get thirsty really easy, nothing like how it used to be (and you can actually see them stressing over it in my photos) but gladly nothing that some water can't fix. The main colas are also starting to grow more and they are full of small developing flowers (they look super pretty! 😍) Some side stems are also outgrowing the main branches... and I'm kinda unsure what I want to do (or if I should do anything). Maybe LST or supercrop them? (I might screw things up by doing it in flower and I have never done it before 😭) I don't know. I also want to trim some leaves away since the foliage is very dense but I fear I might end stressing them! I will probably make a grow question to know what others think. I'm back on a normal nutrient schedule. I'm no longer "overfeeding" them and I water them 4 times a week (but with little water). Next week I'll try doing 3 but with more water and see if they like it more that way. So far I love how the plants are developing!
