I've been busier than hell so I'll post this week and the next at the same time. I was able to get an auto watering system set up which has saved my back and knees and really helped the plants I think. I can't recommend it enough and it wasn't hard to do. Cost was under $100. It took some time to dial it in as far as the best flow for each plant but I've got it going 4x daily with a little hand water supplement every few days, mostly in the areas that the hydro rings don't cover very well, especially the outsides. With the watering under control, the only other work I've been doing in the grow is some defoliation to open up airflow through the plants, some low stress straining to pull the growth tips away from each other, and at the end of the week set up the net. They're working their way to nicely filling out the canopy. Flipping to flower now, so I'm making sure any light leaks are eliminated and covering any equipment lights with tape.

The northern lights from herbies was a best the plant was the fastest growing plant out of 10 strains. In the same amount of time as 9 other plants of different strains this plant grew huge 2 times as big and it finished up flowering after only 45 or 46 days of 12/12. It has a good smell. I only set back is it doesn’t seem to be super dense with tricombs. Don’t get me wrong the plant has plenty I would guess around the low 20% of thc. That’s not bad at all it’s just not a 30% plus thc type of plant but it’s still a great plant

This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍 Merry Christmas Everyone!!😉

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. As per usual this plant tells me it needs watering by looking limp, it doesn't mean the pots are dry it just means its demanding more water. We're gunna need a bigger tent!

Environment's come back into line as it went a bit out of whack for a day or two. Outside temps dropped, so the extraction was pulling cold air and RH was bottoming at 51%. I added my Vivosun W70 heater to take the edge off incoming air—nothing fancy, just warming it up so the room sits where it should: 24°C. I set a target temp with a max and a minimum and it will sit in the happy zone,upping the temp also raises rh nudging toward that 58% im aiming for but with Minimal fuss. I've decided to add a 6-inch inline fan at the back of the room too,this is pointing up through the AL's lower canopy. Those big dense buds aren't getting enough air movement underneath, and botrytis likes the small micro pockets of humidity I have foind ,so an extra push keeps it breathing. Trichomes are mostly cloudy now with amber starting to show. Pistils pulling back. Images show the resin's thick—primary flowers are loaded, secondary sites getting the amber creep. This phenotype just wants to finish. I feel I'm looking at maybe 5-7 days before she's ready. Structure's solid. The lowers chunked up decent despite the uneven light. I've deployed a brace of String to maintain shape and it's al holding the weight fine. Nothing's stressed. Leaves are doing what they should. Older growth yellowing, plant's pulling nitrogen down into the flowers. That's maturation and not a problem. It's funny because a year ago. Would.b.trying to solve this yellowing and would undoubtedly do more harm then good. It's nice o see a leveling up within myself. Not something I'll often vocalise. Lights are running as whites on a 12/12 giving 33 DLI. In addition I have my reds coming on 5 minutes before the main cycle and then they stay on for 6 hours. They then common atlights off for 10 minutes to put everything to sleep. As it's the last week I skipped the Bactrex feed—makes sense. Too late for the microbes to settle in and work. The substrate's already done its job. All I need to do is just keep the environment steady and let her finish.

Soil: BioBizz All•Mix Almost all products I use are from BioBizz. About a month before germinating I have wetted the soil to let the microbes start working. On January 1st I put some of this earth in 3 plastic cups with holes on the bottom. I wetted them with ph regulated water with H2O2 to kill most microbes, fungi and diseases. I inserted the seeds about 2cm deep and poured ~3ml water directly on top. I have a plastic dome that I wet 2 to 3 times a day to keep the humidity above 60%. It’s now day 5. I don’t water the soil, because it’s still very moist. Currently waiting for the roots to reach the bottom of the cups.

A scent that’s impossible to describe — it’s like sweet bubble gum with a hint of wine. Pure beauty!

Seems like its soon time for this baby to chop chop, been a pleasure growing this, super ressiliant against pests, mold, heat/vold stress. Grown perfeclty all the way, have been showing alot of phosphorus defficiency in the end, some dying parts turning black on leafs, quite consearning since ive never had this problem before. Then again never had a colorful plant as this either before so. Beautiful buds, coverd in crystals its beautiful really, sticky and smells deleicious, cant quite put my fingers on the terpines yet but def alot of fruityness, bit sour. Looking forward for them to ripen up, and flush has begun. See you hopefully in harvest or else another week :) crystals not cloudy yet, just a hint

It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds, nicely coated with THC and it was approx 70% milky and 40% amber trichomes. Hopefully good time to be harvested. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not bad at all. I like it.
