crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque

Week 11 July 16-22 hello friends and followers, welcome to week 11. I started seeing trichomes last week on Gaia and Circe. I don't smell anything from them. Only cream caramel gives off any fragrance. After flushing for 3 weeks, I've reintroduced fertilizer. I am using 1/3 to 1/4 the recommended dosage. How do I know what is the correct range for ec and whether I've unlocked the nutritional bind.? 7/16 flushed each with 1 gallon of water. 7/17 flushed each with 1 gal 7/18 fertilized at reduced strength each got 3.5 liters. Tps1 15ml, cal mag 1 top, big bloom 6 tbsp, signal 2.5 ml. Pictures and video. 7/19 no water, tent cleaning day, vacuum, wipe up dried spills. Took the girls outside for a few hours. 7/20 reduced fertilizer in 2 gals Tps1 7.5 ml, signal 1.25ml. Each girl got only 2 liters today. There was very little run off only Gaia with EC .80, ppm 570. Their tent mate cream caramel is very sticky and fragrant. This week has been very busy. I packed up more geneology albums and shipped to my sister. I found my some of grandmother's award winning photographs and awards, certificates and brass plaques. Until WWII women did not work outside the home. If they did, they were teachers, nurses or secretaries. During the early 1920-40 she raised her son as a single mother and found work during the depression as an executive secretary. The r3cipe calls for chocolate chips but It is versatile in that you can add nuts, dried fruit, caramels etc. If you want to taste my cookies the way I make them, you have to chop Lindt 78% dark chocolate bars and use that instead of chips which are sweeter.This time I added macadamia nuts as well. Yummy. 7/22 light defoiliation , and no water or nutrients.

Doesn’t smell great doesn’t look great. Outdoors better than indoors

We are pleased to report another great week has been had by all and there are not any issues to mention. The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and they enjoyed a rain barrel treat mixed with Hygrozyme along with Hyshield once this week. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing! We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night. This beauty had a good clean up two days ago, a storm feels like it’s brewing now and she seems to be enjoying the wind!

Semana de bastante crecimiento. No se ha estirado mucho, pero han salido muchos brotes nuevos y hojas de una palma de grande. Todo va viento en popa y a toda vela. No he detectado ningún síntoma de estrés. Cada dos días las giro 180º y subo 2 cm. el foco. También le aplico riego foliar cada tres días y le sienta muy bien, es una cepa que admite bastante bien los excesos. Preparándola ya para la floración para la semana que viene. No se lo pierdan.😉

The koshers are going great, just transplanted to bigger containers which are the definitive once, no food provided yet im thinking to start slowly next week as the soil i have is quite strong. Also i decided to just keep the 2 plants which are exactly the same for the competition, the other plant which looked different is removed to another room (of course maybe the buds are the same but at the end im looking for the best looking plants for this competition) We also removed the top this week to create some more tops 😁

Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Day 34 she’s a little droopy and upset with me. She would have preferred to be watered last night. Oh well she will perk up in 15 mins. Looking beautiful and started to flower now she got defoliated a tad bit she’s looking wonderful. Very happy with how she’s chugging along.

Gloomy outside but the plant is showing signs of pistils

Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! Week 4 for the indoor black Lebanon by SSSC Phenos 4 & 1 are for sure the ones packing on the size of buds first. Hoping the other 2 catch up. They were only feed plain water next week ill probably give them a feeding of greenhouse feeding bio enhancer for some extra boost. They are all smelling of a strong nutmeg type spice atm.

This week she has got BIG! A lovely amount of growth mainly in height but the side branches are now establishing! This looks like a lovely plant with good genetics, some nice thick lushious green Indica style leads showing! I haven’t fed her a thing and so I think the ‘monster bud mix’ along with the soil has plenty of organic food for her. As I said before I won’t be LST or using any tips and tricks on this girl I do enjoy watching the natural process of a plant and seeing what she can do all by herself. She has come along way in just a short time. Slightly worried about how tall this one could get if it doesn’t go into flowering soon🤔 Have fed her three times this week as the sun has been boiling!!

Ams M.O.A.B got chop down no wet weight taken. Her smell is of a citrus blueberry with a fuel smell. Yield was lost due to errors made in the water res system other then that everything turn out amazing. The UFL3000 light system did a amazing job on bud production an bud density.
